As the GM of the game in question, I would agree most with rinjo and the general philosophy that all you need is Energy Absorption/Reflection. That said, if you can come up with a different way to use it that seems logical enough to me, I'll be fine with it. Really, though, it just sounds like you want to be able to absorb the attack and then reflect it back... Energy Absorption/Reflection.

Umm... Claw slash is kinetic energy. Yep. Really, when I think about it, all that can damage is energy. Even a razor-sharp knife won't break your skin without some kinetic energy involved. And since science doesn't care what hit you, you'd absorb kinetic energy from everything, including claws. For one of my characters, I've attempted to explain that each of his cells can only absorb so much kinetic energy, and since edged weapons focus the energy into a much smaller area, it overloads him far more easily. But really, absorbing kinetic energy is about as cheezetastic as powers get. And one of the major challenges in making rules for it is that just about everyone wants a different version of it. Some want to be able to redirect it as a Force Blast (or Telekinesis), some want to convert it into enhancing their stats (like Sebastian Shaw), and some people want to do something even more bizzare, like building it up until it overloads them in an explosive area effect, or allows them to alter the emotional state of nearby people. Heck, I even know of one guy who wanted to use absorbed energy to heal. That is why I generally recommend that Absorption should be separate from whatever you intend to do with the energy. (You know, using the "only in conjunction with other action" disadvantage.) It makes it far easier to price, and it also has the added benefit of being able to make the maximum effect less than the energy absorbed, potentially making it cheaper.

I highly recommend taking immovability as well. With immovability you could get hit by a bus and as long as it was not enough to knock you out you would stay standing. Without immovability even though you technically absorbed it, it would still send you flying. At least that's how I would see it working. WIth immovability the bus would hit you and either wrap around you or riccochet off of you and go flying... Yeah I wanted this but when I was done with my build I didn't have 3 stones left.

My first MURPG character had, essentially this. I called it mastery of momentum. Being my first character in the first game our group put together, we probably didn't price it very well, however; I took mastery of momentum:power of great scope (+1), but where it get ridiculous is that I was allowed to simply take: Immunity to Element (+1). I had a few other powers, like: Charge Object at a discount, as well as the Absorb/ Reflect at a discount (but only for physical attacks).
I took a couple negatives, however, to help offset the power. I could only retain up to 3x my AN in my mastery (standard bleed off rules applied), and any energy above that did one of two things: I could either immediately reflect the momentum (as well as directing it inward: jumps, running, etc.), or the main concern of my character which was, his body could only store so much potential energy. If he ever tried to take to much, his body would begin to convert his cells into light or beams of energy. (E=Mc2) So that, if a car hit him, he could crush the car a soon as it touched him, regardless of the speed. If a train his him, he could derailing, but as it hit him, beams of light would randomly shoot from his body, leaving pin-prick holes across his body. And finally, if he tried to stand in front of a charging Juggernaut, he would detonate like a nuke, and there'd be no more master of momentum.
Before I get flamed for this character, we played it, and it was never game breaking. I had no kinds of energy defense (in fact if i ever even used my force blast, powered by charging the air around my hands with so much momentum that the air molecules tore themselves apart, and became plasma, the blast would melt my hands. Which actually happened in game, until forge made me some special gloves), or mental defense, or for that matter, magical defense. It was just a very specific character concept. I couldn't fly without riding on something else, because if i tried to internalize the energy, those beams of light would start shooting from me, so he had a skateboard without wheels, that he would fly on.
One of my favorite abilities of this character was a power, that scientifically makes no sense (and Multiple Man makes tons of sense). He could touch someone, and put them in a momentum deficit. Meaning that he could freeze someone in place, until they paid enough stones into trying to move around, to match my attack. (somewhere a physicist is crying) It was from this power that he got his name: Late.
