Thinking about the incident, he wonders who could be behind an act of sabotage... And was it related in any way to the troubles of the lavamen? He wasn't exactly certain of what to think about all of this.

He started flying around, using his knowledge of technologies to try and locate the source of the problem. He was not very familiar with Earth's technologies, but this one seemed rather advanced, perhaps he would understand it.

Spider-Man and Starfox try to wrap their brains around this problem, but without more information they come to essentially the same conclusion as Chief O'Brien.
"I must get to a security monitor!"
And the two brainiacs also know from looking about The Tube, that there are no security monitors here.

"Chief O'Brien, we need to get to a security monitor to find out what went wrong." Spider-man spun a makeshift suspension bridge made out of webs to the nearest exit/ledge/door that he spots. Spider-man bows in an exaggerated fashion after he helps the Scarlet Witch up to her feet. "Just your friendly neighborhood Spider-man at your service! Now how about we make like a tree, and leave?"
