Spider-Man wall-crawls to the ceiling and whenever he gets near the black wall, his spider-sense tingles.
[FYI: None of the Avengers know that Spider-Man has a spider-sense. (Unless you can find some mention of him telling Captain Marvel and/or Captain America during the Day of the Octopus adventure here at The Daily Bugle that I forgot about.)]
She-Hulk notes that the wall looks very slick but she's never come across a wall that she couldn't break through yet. It's a good thing too, because that might be the Avengers only option, because neither Starfox or the Wasp can find a way around it. Not even Captain Marvel's energy form can penetrate it!
Just then, a wall monitor turns on behind Captain America and the Scarlet Witch. It's O'Brien.
"Blarney! That isn't on any schematic o' the base I've ever seen!"

C'mon Wanda, what do you say? Think you could effect something this big? He smiled reassuringly. He still wasn't certain about chaos magic... but it seemed the least risky plan at the time, and they needed to work quickly here.

The wall reminds Spider-Man of the darkforce wielded by super-powered vigilantes such as Cloak. However, Spidey's analysis comes to a close when the assembled heroes turn as one... and step aside to make way for the Scarlet Witch! O'Brien's image on the view-screen is then replaced by that of the villain Moonstone! "My boys and I are running this research dome now... and that puts us in control of this entire project!"Her boys can now be seen on the far side of the melting wall; Electro, The Rhino and a third man dressed in black with a yellow thunderbolt mask. Listening to Cap's orders, Starfox decides that he's better in a support role at the moment. That said, he walks to Wanda's side:
-Give it your all, lady, I'll handle the defense.
He stands to her side, ready to pick her up and fly out of the way if Rhino charges or if anyone attacks the Scarlet Witch.

She-Hulk runs ahead. She recognizes the Rhino and Electro, but the third was an unknown quantity. But as she rushes ahead she'll hopefully figure out what's going on.

"With all due respect Captain, I'd place Rhino as threat #1 at the moment. He's a brute in close combat. Perhaps She-Hulk would care to take him on?" Spidey did what he could to deal with Electro. Perhaps by tying up his arms and insulating them with webbing, Spider-man would be able to limit the damage the eletrical villain could dish out!

Captain Marvel blasts the man in black with an energy blast. She didn't know what kind of nasty tricks he has up his sleeves, but judging from his costume he may have been the one to construct that barrier. She is sure her friends wouldn't want to deal with any further such obstacles.

As Spider-Man webs Electro's hands, Captain America gets a close enough look at the stranger to knick him with his shield. However, before the Wasp can blast his boots, he forms two black disks under his feet. "You think you can intimidate me just because you can fly?! Well, you're wrong! Wrong! Blackout can also defy gravity!" Then he zips out of the way of the Wasp's stings. [glow=green,2,300] ZZZZZAAAAAAXXXXXXX!!![/glow]Electro supercharges the webs about his fists and blasts them to smithereens! Next, it's Captain Marvel's turn to blast something to smithereens... Blackout! "I don't know what you did to my partner," a charging gray suited mass of muscles now grumbles, "but you won't find The Rhino so easy to stop!" Only the lightning reflexes of Starfox save himself and the Scarlet Witch from being mauled by this hard-headed villain. Don't worry about Captain Marvel. He can't do much to an image of light! Still the Rhino appears to disagree. "It doesn't matter how many of you there are--I'll mow you all down!" Well, if the She-Hulk hadn't been on the defensive, the Rhino would've surely done just that to at least one tall green blade of grass! Spider-Man's Health: 4/4
