Yeah, T'Challa would have a 7, or at least a 6, in my book. Maybe Daredevil's CC of 5 reflects that he relies on his billy club a lot in battle, but I would still think it would be a little higher.
As for War Machine: are his agility and speed meant to be that high? I realize he should have a good flight speed, but the man is not almost as good a runner as Quicksilver. I would think that 2 in each, along the lines of Iron Man, would be about right.

Again... if we're using 7 as the baseline for "the best"... T'Challa and DD should probably be around 6. They're not as good as Cap and Wolvie, but they're no slouches either.

Actually I believe T'challa is a 7. I do believe he fought Cap to a draw before. And he doesn't have a vibranium/adamantium alloy shield. MadCap

MadCap Having not read every comic book ever written, I'm not going to say that didn't happen... but I would qualify that as a "one time thing" written by one of the recently cropped up fanboys of Black Panther. Historically, he has never been shown to have remotely that level of combat skill, and Wolverine has crushed him with seemingly very little effort at least twice.

Well I know that happened when the Avengers went over to Wakanda the first time. This was like in the 60's/70's timeframe. But then I haven't seem Wolverine thump him either. He isn't exactly someone I keep a close eye either, having never been the biggest fan of him, the FF (where he is currently running) or his wife either. MadCap

Wolverine had to fight him in the 90's (the time when I was the biggest into Wolverine). At that time vibranium supposedly melted adamantium or corroded it or something like that, so they called on Black Panther to hunt down Wolverine when he had "gone rogue." They fought twice, Wolverine won both times without using his claws (because the vibranium would have jacked them up). The second time BP ended the fight by hitting Wolverine with some kind of sonic weapon that vibrated the metal in his skeleton so he couldn't move.

Must be the time when I stopped reading comics then. Don't recall the Wolverine going rogue thing at all, unless it is basically when Wolverine gets brainwashed by Hydra and goes on a rampage leading up to killing Northstar? I do remember the Vibranium destabilizes Adamantium thingie. I believe that still applies. I recall a couple of years ago Iron Man using Vibranium to destroy a rogue Adamantium Iron Man suit. MadCap

Antarctic Vibranium is the anti-metal, as seen in the end of Ultron Unlimited when Hank Pym goes to town on Ultron. Wakandan Vibranium is mostly what BP deals with, but I'm sure with his resources he could get the Antarctic variety.

Wakandan Vibranium absorbs vibrations such as sound. Antartican, basically Savage Land, Vibranium melts metals. MadCap

No, he wasn't brainwashed in this storyline.. I'll see if I can dig out the issues to see what the exact deal was, but it revolved around Weapon X and Wolverine was rampaging around trying to find Silver Fox, who he had been tricked into believing was in some kind of danger. He fought a few heroes in the storyline... Spider-Man, Black Panther, and somebody else (Punisher maybe, I don't remember).
The "big ending" of the storyline was that he'd been tricked with false memories yet again, and he ended up destroying a Shiva and fighting Sabretooth.

Maybe I'll go look it up at Borders or something. But wasn't Silverfox, his first wife way back when who got killed by Sabertooth way back in the 1800's? I only read the early issues of his Origins stuff. All I can say is I am kinda happy Wolvie got his memory back post House of M and we don't have to deal with his amnesiac beserker schtick. I actually like him better when he is more human. Like when he is like a father figure to Shadowcat, etc. MadCap

Silver Fox was Wolverine's lover, but not in the 1800's, much more recently. She was part of Team X after it was revealed that she was still alive, but originally she was the girl that Wolverine loved and Sabretooth "killed."

You know the thing about Wolverine is that his origins got really 'soap opera' ish . I remember at one point Sabertooth claiming Wolverine to be his son..."noooooo!!!", cue for close up of Wolverine's astonished face. Also the amnesia thing is a frequent plot twist in soaps. In the Ultimate world, Wolverine is the father I believe. MadCap

No, actually Ultimate X-Men made a really good joke out of all that.
Sabretooth said "I'm your son"
Wolverine responded with something like "Really?"
And Sabretooth ripped his guts out with his claws and said "Nah, not really, I just wanted to distract you long enough to get close."
Of course then Sabretooth got decapitated by Wolverine, but whatever.
