And, after nearly six years with the New Orleans Harbor Patrol... well, if she couldn't remember a few prominent sandbars after that, she'd better move to the desert! Even dressed in civilian clothing, Jennifer Walters, Janet Van Dyne and Wanda Maximoff attract quite a crowd. Janet is leading the trio toward an apartment building she heard about. Now if only the gawkers would stop standing in their way, staring at the emerald Amazon, Jennifer's apartment hunting days may be over! She-Hulk's Health: 5/5

Wanda makes her way through the crowed wishing she was still back at the mansion so she could be with her husband hoping he gets better. There was no change and Wasp had insisted that she come with them to this apartment. She quitely avoided the crowd hoping they wouldn't follow them into the building if they ever got there in the first place.

"Well, girls - looks like we've earned some time off! What do you think of this place, Jen? I got a hot tip about this place the other day. I haven't been inside just yet, but I had Carrothers drive me past on my way to the Mansion today. Curb appeal, it's got!"
Jen's new outfit and perky attitude were the outward signs, but inwardly she was a bit worried about the fact that three of the four supervillains they encountered at Project: Pegasus had gotten away. One would think that she would be used to it by now, but it just wasn't the case. Well, it was time to brush all that aside for the moment and have a relaxing day - even the chairwoman of the Avengers was allowed that once in a while.
OOC: Is Starfox on monitor duty? Always picking on the rookie. ;-)

The neighborhood is a little dodgy, but where in New York isn't? Jennifer, in her outfit (red and white horizontal striped short-sleeve shirt with a red miniskirt) and, frankly, amazing proportions, looked like a strangely painted Barbie. She grinned as she stood over a steam vent, adjusting her skirt.
"Thanks for the lead on the apartment, Janet, I owe you one."

"I think you'll agree that this little number out-performs everything in her class!" The salesman drones on, but Monica Rambeau's thoughts drift elsewhere... She recalls how, in her other identity of Captain Marvel, Blackout was able to capture her energy-form within a sphere of a strange ebon energy... and that thought troubles her. "Ms. Rambeau? I asked you how you liked 'er!"She handles all right, but Monica really thinks she'll need something bigger. Captain Marvel's Health: 3/3

She-Hulk must be getting used to this town. The gawkers don't faze her in the least anymore. In fact, she's starting to have fun, staring back! And Janet Van Dyne has noticed Shulkie practicing on their dreamy new trainee. Even Wanda must admit that Starfox has a certain something in the way he carries himself. She-Hulk likes the looks of it already. The door to the apartment is opened, as if the rental agent may have stepped out. She-Hulk's Health: 5/5

The Vision's been in a coma for a while now...but now's probably not the best time to broach the subject. No, I'll wait until we're back at the Mansion, maybe have Jarvis whip up some hot cocoa. Then we'll have our girl-talk. For now...~

Jennifer was a practicing attorney, and supplemented that income with her Avengers salary, but Janet was a wealthy fashion designer, and her circle of friends which tipped her off to this place was well-heeled.

The She-Hulk CAD already states: Jennifer Walters was involved in a gangland shooting, and saved only by a blood transfusion from her cousin, Dr. Bruce Banner (the Hulk). Banner's gamma-irradiated blood gave her the ability to transform into the She-Hulk. However, for clarity sake, I'm going to modify the rest to say: While Jennifer Walters was a lawyer licensed to practice in California, as She-Hulk she has less patience for legal intricacies.
