I'm aware there's no such thing, which would technically put this in Original Characters, but...
It is a group I've used in previous roleplay, and much of it (Titania, Jack, Chaos) is based heavily on existing Marvel characters, while one (Livewire) IS an already existing DC character, albeit from the 90's Superman cartoon. So I put this here just to be safe.
Hopefully this won't go unreplied to like the other write-ups.
Since each of them has a long history part (And some a long statistics sheet), I'm putting them one post at a time so as not to overload a post with it all. I'll start with one of the reserve members.
Edit: Added detail his Gas Mastery causes collateral damage due to it being wind like.

Mutant, Human appearance (3w) Regretful of initial use of powers (2w) Accidentally killed adoptive family (3w) Overconfident of powers (2w) Psychological blocks prevent access to full power (5w - Cannot affect solids. Cannot affect any form of matter inside or part of a living being. Lost access to massive variety of psychic powers)
History: Michael started off as the younger of two children born in the Remmingway family. However, his older brother, currently 5 years old, had already exhibited massive psychic potential, and had been sent to a facility to tend to injuries accidentally self-inflicted while using them. The parents, fearing Michael was also such a monster, put him in an orphanage with no intent of looking for him again. Michael has not been told this part of his past.
Michael was adopted while still a baby, and raised by the Davidson family as if naturally part of it, an illusion maintained by his adoptive mother's matching blonde hair and blue eyes. His life went along well despite the start, and apparently his real parents' fears of him being a near-omnipotent psychic like his brother were groundless.
However, appearances are deceiving, as he was attacked by thugs coming home from school one day, who intended to kill him. His latent psychic powers released themselves in defense, but with no prior practice in using it, he couldn't prevent it from mutilating the thugs as retaliation for their plans. If the thugs weren't crushed under dumpsters, or every bone in their body reduced to powder psionically, they were put in comas by being completely mind wiped or psionically forced into hideous changes. The trauma of causing so much pain, which was picked up by Michael's psychic empathy, was great enough he forced his mind to block off virtually all this power forever. The fact such vast power is all being channeled into keeping it from ever being used by him is not only somewhat of a paradox, but also means not even his older brother's cosmically omnipotent degree of power with psychic energy could ever undo this lock. Michael was now stripped of his full potential.
It was years later before Michael even attempted to use this power again under his own control, and he succeeded in partially undoing the locks he put on himself, but his trauma from that one time scarred his mind into only allowing him access to forms of the power that weren't used in the slaughter, that being psychometric reading of what he uses his telekinesis to control, and being unable to affect solid matter with it, or directly affect any from of matter inside a living being. At first Michael only realized he could control liquids. He practiced with it until he could safely control it without incident, but at the same time, his adoptive family was going broke. Michael used his powers to steal money to prevent this.
His father, however, was furious at Michael for doing so, shouting he had taught him better than that. Michael became angry, and shouted back that he did it to help them, and was himself, angered that he was being scolded for trying to help. His rampant emotions unbottled the last thing his psychic potential could harness - control of all forms of matter in the gas state. This violent release caused a monstrous windstorm that killed everyone in it but himself. This time, Michael tried to cope with the fact he let his anger go, and it was his fault this happened. As a result, he didn't form any extra psychic locks.
Later still, the Teen Terror Jack contacted Michael, now using the alias Typhoon, to come fill in places in the forming ranks of the Teen Terrors. He accepted by Jack blackmailing him with the fact he killed his family. However, Michael's grudge at being blackmailed into it receded when he saw he wasn't the only member with a stormy past. Chaos then suggested the name Maelstrom for his time on the team, which Michael accepted since it fit.
Maelstrom once had the potential to be a master of all the psychic spectrum on the cosmic level like his brother. However, he has turned that power inward to prevent him from using most of it, and weakening the power he has use of still. No one alive is capable of single-handedly undoing the mental restraints he's placed on himself by psychiatric or psychic means. A unique trait of this psychic block is, while it does not give Maelstrom any defense against Psychic assault (Since his mental defenses are part of what's locked away), it does make him one of the beings his brother's omniscence is unable to sense. Maelstrom also can manipulate all matter that is in the gas or liquid state, and his control allows him to instantaneously "read" the manipulated substance's molecular essence, granting him exact knowledge of what it is and what it's capable of. Furthermore, he has asked Jack to created the blue tinted goggles he wears, allowing him to see invisible gases, or to see underwater. Maelstrom has been very creative with what he has though, using it to manipulate the weather, to make himself impossible to drown or poison by gas (Since he can just force the substance to flow around him), and to fly.

..Right...maybe I should just move on with the group, so that you all know what they're like and how they interact with each other before I expect responses...
Next up, so this thread stays relevant to the Villains board, I'll post one of the altered non-original villains.
Though if anyone wants to tell me how thrown objects affect Ranged combat, I'd be glad to hear it.
Edit: Found out Unstoppable AUTOMATICALLY gets a bonus. Weakened it down a bit. Also added detail she can only break objects of a hardness equal to her strength.

Wants to prove women are as good/better than men - 2w (makes it hard to work with a male heavy team like the Terrors)
History: In the Teen Terrors continuity (Oh brother, starting on continuities now), something to note is that, due to a terrorist attempt to raid a government chemical lab, a highly experimental mutagenic gas was unleashed, and scattered to the winds. It single-handedly caused a surge in the appearance of meta-humans, and the reason was because it's an imprintable mutagen. It was created by accident, and the only actual sample of it was released to make the youth of the nation mutate, making a cure near-impossible, but even more unusual is the fact it "reads" the wiring of the nerves in the brain, and these patterns determine what mutations arise. In short, psychological status determines what happens, if anything.
Cue to Titania, a small mousey little girl constantly being treated like nothing more than something to make out with by boys, and hating it. She wanted to be strong to make them stop, and to tower over them so she could scare them off. That's just what she got. And the boys learned the hard way to leave her alone. She ended up joining a street gang called the New Amazons, like minded women who wanted to force men to learn. Two other women in this group obtained similar ability to Titania.
She didn't feel right with them though, so when Livewire asked her to come along as she ditched Metropolis for a cross country tour, she agreed, and helped Livewire steal a car to do it in.
It was across the country, near Jump City (Note: Where the Teen Titans from the cartoon live) that fate intervened. Jack and Chaos, both appearing as normal teenagers, were by Chaos' "hunch", waiting in a park, watching a baseball game, to try to scope out recruits for their forming Teen Terrors. Titania saw the game while she and Livewire were driving by, and had Livewire stop the car so she could "show the boys the big time". Despite Livewire's insistance it was beneath them, Titania took a bat, ordered the pitcher to throw one to her, and she slammed the baseball into orbit. Or close enough for Chaos' judgment. Jack asked Titania to join their forming team, but she accepted only if she could bring someone with her, and choose her own name in the team. The person she asked was Livewire, who after finding out that the team was being made to counter the Teen Titans, AND learning about Cyborg, decided to join, thinking she'd get some kicks screwing around with Cyborg's circuits. Titania chose her name based on the Titan theme.
Titania as a member of the team works very well with the two other girls, Crash and Livewire, but not as well with the men. However, she has overcome this before. Her superhuman strength and endurance are her only true powers, but she has proven harder to take down than Starfire or Cyborg.
Life within the Teen Terrors base for her, is very unusual at best. She constantly beats off flirts and pick-up lines from Jack, normally by physical means, twice tying his candlestick around him, once forcing him to lick a frozen street-light, and many times flinging him into the bay. Maelstrom has avoided any efforts to hit on her because of this, and Nocturne seems to have no interest in any of the team's women.
Chaos, however, seems to have a special trait of wooing her without even trying, and this seems to stem from an incident when he copied her powers to facilitate an escape for the group. Jack has before called shennanigans on this possible relationship, both by right Chaos isn't technically human anymore, and the fact he's going to die sometime soon in the future, and Titania herself has doubts about it, but among the Terrors, Chaos seems the most sincere in his feelings, even if they do shift wildly.

The Teen Terrors are made-up mainly. Something I thought up. I just put it here instead of original characters because...
1) Most of them are redesigned existing characters. 2) Livewire is not a redesign, but taken from the Superman Cartoon 3) They ARE a bunch of villains, even if they do sometimes act otherwise.
I'd LOVE to post Chaos' write-up next, but he is ludicriously hard to pin down an exact list for because of his metamorphic-like nature. So instead, I'll put the second of my truly original characters (Maelstrom being the first).
EDIT: Forgot about his shadow portals. I feel stupid now...
EDIT-edit: Upon further review, he'd apparently go down like Crash did. Added a Healing Factor to note him using his shadow energies as a makeshift "patch" for injuries. Forgot Wealth.
Name: Nocturne Real Name: Refuses to reveal it Gender: Male Height: 5'8" Weight: 160 lbs. Hair: Black Eyes: Ethreal Red Skin: White-pale Species: Mutagenic

Enhanced Vision: 10 -Total Darkness
Wealth: 2

Cell phone
Sunglasses (Blinded by basic electric light without them.)
Challenges
Lethal Allergy to Sunlight - Exposed skin bursts into flames extinguished only by retreating to shadows (10w) Extremely weak to light based attacks - (5w + 3x damage from light attacks) Hates normal humans, jealous of them - 1w Eyes have unearthly glow sunglasses can't blow - 2w Cannot go where light is too bright/in sunlight or body will suffer intense damage - 5w (1w of damage per 3 panels in bright store. 1w per two panels in bright-lit sports stadium. 1w per panel in sunlight.)
History: Nocturne keeps most of his past to himself. What he has revealed to the other Terrors is as follows.
He was once an albino, and hated every second of it. He felt he was cursed to never enjoy sunlight because of how weak his skin was to it, and also was paranoid in his beliefs that society loathed him and saw him as "the darkness that plagues it", because he saw how they persecuted mutants. It was these two factors which judged his mutation when the mutagenic gas that changed Titania also changed him.
His change came with a physical overhaul, turning his hair black, his skin to a normal color, and exaggerating his red eyes by making them glow. At first, he believed he could finally enjoy the sun, but a near-fatal attempt at this only made him furious at humanity, being hateful and jealous they could be in the light and they take it for granted. His hatred has eaten away at his emotions, making him eventually the least emotional of the Terrors.
He does still show resent, however, and usually joins Chaos' "games" in the city to cause pain and misery to normal humans as a retaliation.
However, he is exceedingly difficult to get along with. When Chaos had someone make plushies of the Terrors (Don't ask...), only Nocturne actually rejected them. In particular, he treats the doll of himself poorly, typically taking it from it's place, and casually tossing it to the floor. Jack has theorized he's jealous of the doll of him not being fatally weak to light.
Nocturne also has no interest in the girls from the group, particularly Livewire. Livewire has expressed liking his "Goth look", but since her powers produce bright light, he's very bluntly rejected her advances.
He is, however, defensive of Raven of the Teen Titans though. This may be for several reasons, one being Raven's empathic powers allow her to understand why he lashes out on normal people, and her usual preference for the dark works well with Nocturne's allergy to light.
Nocturne has proven very dangerous with his powers, such as transforming himself into a shadow duplicate of the devil from "A Night on Bald Mountain". He takes that form because it's his belief on what people see in him. Despite shadows lacking actual tangibility, he has somehow managed to make it so, as his mass in that form is more than enough to cause tremors by stomping, crush cars underfoot, or slap people away like flies.
Nocturne's power came with perfect vision in darkness, which makes sense, since his weakness makes him only useful in the dark. He does, however, wish to actually enjoy sunlight, even if it costs him his powers.

All right then, now for the one, completely unoriginal Teen Terror.
Edit: If playtesting of Jack, Crash, and Titania was any clue, I need to tone Livewire down badly. Reduced Speed and Agility, since her Speed value would be her running around. She's not that fast without her powers. Speaking of which, modified slightly.

Extreme weakness to water - 5w + 3x damage and immediate loss of entire energy reserves. Abilities marked with a * are unusable after water-based attack until recharged.
Thinks highly of self - 2w Non-human appearance/unnatural colors - 3w Hates Superman - 3w (Deadly Enemies, sorta)
History: (Part in quotations taken from Wikipedia) "Leslie Willis was once Metropolis' most controverisal shock jocks. No one was immune to her venomous words, not even Superman.
One evening during a severe thunderstorm, Willis was hosting a rock concert in honor of her anniversary working at the radio station in Cenntenial Park in downtown Metropolis. Ignoring the public safety concerns by Metropolis authorities, and the changeable skies, Willis demanded the show to go on.
It was about that time Superman showed up to help the police. Willis' fans showed support for her by throwing stuff at the Man of Steel, when suddenly, lightning struck the stage, setting it on fire. When Superman pushed Willis to safety, lightning struck both of them, transfering some of Superman's powers to Willis and changing her appearance.
When Willis woke up, she saw that her skin had turned ghostly white and her hair stood on end. She accused Superman for the injuries she had suffered from the accident she created. She was about to throw a clock-radio at the TV on which she had seen Superman talking to reporters about the accident when the radio suddenly turned on. It was not plugged into the wall, there were no batteries in it. She discovered she could manipulate electricity.
Willis then escaped from the hospital by turning herself into an electric current. Confronting Superman, she had rearranged the electrons of the hospital gown she was wearing into a black leotard with a lightning bolt down the front and black boots."
Onto her history with the Teen Terrors. Livewire is the only well-known criminal in the entire group, and her joining the team was for the purpose of staving off boredom and avoiding Superman. However, when she heard Cyborg of the Teen Titans was mostly machine, she was particularly enticed into joining, wanting to try her powers on him.
However, the fact she is immediately grounded out when hit with water, taking severe damage from it as well, causes her many problems. Despite this, she is among the strongest of the Terrors.
She has flirted with Nocturne before, who flatly refused her. She has also taken mild interest in Maelstrom before learning of his liquid control. And she has just as large a list of times she attacked Jack for his come-ons as Titania, Crash, Starfire, and Raven do. Incidents with her attacking Jack include electrical blasts, magnetizing his candlestick so his helmet stuck to it, and one incident of sapping the power to his workshop.
Despite her being pure energy, she, like many of the Terrors, are highly afraid of Chaos due to his lunatic tendencies and murderous nature. He once threatened to tear her in half if she brought up his mother again when she was trying to make small talk, and despite the fact she can't technically die from that, she has been frightened into avoiding the subject since.

Well, since I've got nothing else to do tonight, I'll post the last of the purely original Terrors. The two after this are Jack and Chaos. Crash is the closest to 40 stones, but even she's pretty dang powerful, although she is the other of two current reserve members.
Edit: Play-tested. Expected her to do a lot better then that. She was creamed. Upping Reflexive Dodge, adding the Computers. Added that the Skates reduce the stones of energy used in speed by 2, but only if she spent more than 2.

Shunned by Non-Terrors as a gang girl - 1w Rival gangs - 2w (Foes of old street gang) Family/friends lost in gang wars - 3w
History: Serena is another of the teens affected by the mutagenic gases, and her desire was to be stronger, faster, and better able to help her friends and family, who she needed to help due to them being part of a street gang called "Northside". It's not proven that's the name or exact name, but it's what's written on her T-Shirt, and it's the most she told the Terrors.
Her powers emerged when her younger brother was shot by a rival gang, and needed immediate medical attention to survive. She had her collapsible roller skates on, but even that wouldn't suffice. However, her kinetic control kicked in, propelling her to speeds beyond that of any race car. She easily got to the hospital with her brother, and for the briefest time, she felt she could use her powers to end the gang violence, so she could receive a proper education, and no one else would have to die. If this had continued, she may have become a hero.
However...fate denied this, as even with her timely arrival, her brother's wounds were fatal, and impossible for the surgeons to operate on quickly enough. He died on the operating table, and Crash, hurt and miserable, accused the all-white hospital staff of intentionally killing her brother because he was black, before taking off, leaving the city behind. She knew this accusation wasn't true, but the pain was too much for her to cope with immediately. She eventually returned to apologize, only to learn that a rival gang had unfairly killed the rest of her family when they went to the cemetary for her brother's funeral. Raged, she used her powers, to hastily steal a gun from one of them, and fired at them. Her anger instinctively used her powers to amplify the kinetic energy in the bullets, making each shot rip the victim to shreds from the pure force. She left the city again, this time permanently.
Jack's connections again came into play, as he somehow acquired the number of her cell phone using them. She was going to hang up and ignore him, except he mentioned he was banding together similarly empowered teenagers, possibly being a greater family to each other than their natural families ever were. She came to the base to check into it, and has thus taken position as a reserve member. She gets along well with Titania and Livewire, and the three occasionally go shopping together, partially to help expose Crash to life outside of a street gang.
Crash's power is pure and simple control of kinetic energy, although she is highly inexperienced at using it due to never receiving proper education on what it is. This means that she has not explored the full potential with it, and she is only aware of being able to speed up or slow down objects already in motion. This is the key part of a team attack the Terrors have, which, theoretically, could kill even Superman.
The attack works as follows.
Maelstrom, Nocturne, and Livewire tie up the target to keep them in place, using their powers to restrain or distract them.
Jack calculates the angle and trajectories for Titania to throw Chaos at full force.
Crash then amplifies the kinetic energy of the throw, propelling Chaos like a high speed bullet at the target, Chaos forming into a symbiotic spike for impact.
This tactic is exceedingly rare for the Terrors to employ, for a number of reasons.
1) The tactic falls flat if something goes wrong. (Miscalculated angle, target moves or proves too resilliant, Titania misthrows.) 2) Chaos normally won't listen to plans when it comes to fighting. 3) The tactic also falls flat if they botch the timing. (Titania throws Chaos before he's ready to morph, Crash isn't ready to boost it.)

Well, the second to last Teen Terror this time. Also the most leader-like, although he's not the official leader, and the most intelligent. I thought Chaos would be the most expensive Terror. I was wrong by a mile. What makes this more ironic is Jack's the only non-superpowered member of the team, despite the fact he's extremely intelligent and skilled with technology.
Edit: Darn, long posts are typo-friendly. And overcharged him a bit.
SUPER Edit: WHOA MOMMA! Playtesting showed he's danged hard to take out. That's NOT right. Lowered Intelligence a bit, reduced Targeting to 3. Also clarifying the gas bombs are temporary. Weakened a couple weapons.

He claims his name actually IS Jack, but he has also told the Teen Titans his gimmick (The pumpkin head, the illusions and halloween theme) were NOT a costume and illusions, and he's told the Terrors he never got a high-school diploma because he ditched his hometown after extracting a horrible vengence on Halloween night on the school, when even Chaos, who initially appeared to believe this story (And enjoy it) later revealed he not only knew it was a bunch of crap, but that he knew who Jack REALLY was. Jack has since shut up entirely about himself when talking to the Terrors, in exchange that Chaos keep his own mouth shut about it.
Jack owns a solid black cat which he named Midnight, which he claims found him, and arrived as well trained as she was, which is able to out-perform most show-dogs. Likely more of his lies. However, what's true, is he keeps her claws coated in hallucinagenic poisons, and has regularly injected her with mild doses so she herself is immune. The cat occasionally aids him in battle, but normally he only brings her along for effect, and the poisons are purely so those who try to take the cat are punished.
One talent of Jack's that isn't hyberbole is a virtually supernatural knack for science and technology, partially due to photographic memory. If he has examined the workings of a device and understands how they work, he can build his own or improve on the design. It's this talent that allows him to work on his own gear, and allowed him to make his helmet, which is a vast improvement over conventional holographics tech. He also created his speciallized armor, which helps protect him from falling off the candlestick. He can be likened to Batman in the sense he uses his mind and technology over pure brute force.
However, the other Terrors typically see him as an idiot, mainly because of his womanizing the wrong women. He has racked up quite a list of injuries from flirting with teammates and the enemy, including numerous dunkings in the bay, a starbolt to the face (Granted, he had his helmet on then, but still), being thrown into walls, and other harsh injuries. How he has yet to sustain broken bones or life-threatening problems despite all this is a miracle, especially given half of those times he wasn't wearing his costume, but he and the other Terrors feel it's better not to ask and possibly jinx it, since Jack wouldn't do them any good in the hospital or dead.
Jack's connections into the criminal underworld are mainly by his using his talents to supply weapons to up-and-coming criminals, though sometimes the customers have a hard time actually figuring out how to work the products.
He has actually devised counter-measures to specific people, including his own team, in the event he would need them, but he is usually overwhelmed by sheer numbers or force when alone, despite his meticulous preparations. His knack for technology has actually proven to be unnaturally accurate before, as he has correctly calculated the workings of Cyborg's body without even a schematic, including the fact his body uses artificial blood-vessels and still has some blood-cells, and that his memories are stored in discs. This has before actually terrified Cyborg and the Titans more than Jack's tricks, since he has before been scanned for mutant or meta-human traits, and he has come up negative. If Jack were properly guided into other work besides crime, it's possible he may actually exceed Reed Richards, Dr. Doom, and Hank Pym in scientific fields. However, it's his own addiction to the thrills of crime and the pleasure he gets from terrorizing people that hold him back (Or so he claims). The fact also stands he has before accurately predicted the EXACT button sequence to activate a cheat in a video game he was playing against Chaos. While this does prove his abnormal skill with technology, Chaos would beg to differ, as the code he used was a suicide code. Chaos laughed for 3 straight hours at this, and the other Terrors found the incident so hilarious they completely overlooked the fact he could predict a code. As Chaos put it, "ONLY Jack could manage to figure out a cheat with the intent to beat me, only for it to be a sudden death code!"
Video games are the one known field of technology Jack is bad at, and they seem to actually work AGAINST him, as the ONE time he beat Chaos at Mortal Kombat, his prediction of a Fatality combination, while a real combo, was for the Hara-Kiri, which worked despite the fact it shouldn't have. However, Jack has skill with Video Games, just not against others.
Jack has acknowledged the fact he takes after the previous Jack O' Lanterns, making him somewhat of a fourth-wall breaking person, although the continuity of the Teen Terrors blends Marvel and DC, so he may just take after them from within his reality.
Jack's combat skills with his gear are known as potent, but he lacks the punch the others do, making him somewhat more reliant on his out of battle skills.

History: Chaos is a symbiote technically, as if there's not enough of them, but he is different in many ways.
Before we go into that, let's look into his life prior to the Terrors.
His life was normal and happy up until about 5, despite his father, a scientist, being tied up in a top secret project to create controllable symbiotes. However, when he was being taken to school by his mother, a car crash completely shattered any hope of a normal life from that moment on.
David survived the crash relatively unhurt save for brain damage that no one caught onto, but his mother was horribly mangled, partially skinned, and decapitated, and David was trapped in the car with that for over an hour.
When David finally was taken back home, his father was away with no way to contact him. David sat alone in his home after such a traumatic event. He hid in his closet crying. He also got no attention in school due to the rich, snobby brats who were popular by wealth.
As he grew up, his father, being strong-armed into remaining part of the project, could not be with David as he wanted to be, and David grew to believe his father didn't care he existed at all. When he was in high-school, bordering college, he took to spray-painting all over to try to make his father pay attention to him. If this hadn't been written off as being a rebellious teenager, it might've salvaged his life. Ultimately, David confronted his father when he returned from his job, accusing him of wanting him dead, and, quoting "You didn't give a damn when Mom died, and I was trapped with her corpse! You left me to rot with her!". His father had cared all along, but he couldn't get off the project schedule to show it. David didn't buy it, and in one of the violent mood shifts his brain damage causes, attacked his father, leaving him for dead, then stole his access card to the labs he worked at. He then took his spraycans, and left to deface the lab as a final act of revenge.
Using the access card to bypass the door security, he went inside, getting spotted by a camera and alerting the guards. However, before they could lock-down the labs, he got into the room where the project kept it's one created symbiote. David only got more furious at what he felt was his father ignoring him for slime, then intentionally smashed the containment open, before going to spraypaint words on the wall. The false symbiote bonded with him, and by the time the guards had gotten to that lab, the only evidence anyone had been in there was the discarded bag of paint, the ruined containment, and the word "Chaos" carved clear into steel walls...
Now the symbiotic creature Chaos, David turned up much later to bail Jack out of a botched robbery attempt the Teen Titans stopped, using his shape-shifting to mimic a sewer wall to hide Jack as the Titans ran past, before going back to "normal", and chiding Jack about failing so miserably. Jack complained he was outnumbered, which made Chaos think to turn the tables with their own team. Jack then stated he should be leader since he's the most like Robin, only for Chaos to shift into a giant symbiote head and roar at him. Jack surrendered leadership to Chaos immediately.
After the uniting of the team, Chaos showed more of his true colors, leading them into a "game" of wrecking the town. Damages include flooding a fast food joint with cement, demolished buildings, and defacing Titan Tower while the Titans dealt with the damages. Nocturne denied the other Terrors access to Raven's room, oddly...but the other rooms saw no mercy. Chaos nailed meat all over Beast Boy's room, tye-dyed Robin's spare costumes, and pushed Starfire's stuff out her window.
It was during this game, when Chaos hid himself inside an ATM machine to pop out and terrify an old lady, that the Terrors got the idea to actually analyze him. After a fight to get him to sit still long enough for it, Jack discovered the sinister truth...
The symbiote's genetic code is deteriorating, and it's bond to David has caused the same fate in him. They currently share their genetic code to have a complete one, meaning they're bonded on a level unmatched by normal symbiotes, making them truly one being. Inside the symbiote, unknown to the others, David's body has degraded horribly, and he has been shape-shifting himself into how he would look as a human without this condition. Chaos will die from the degrade, however, but the symbiote is capable of cloning genetic tissues unaided, and using the copies to patch the genetic holes. However, this is sloppy genetic work at best, and deteriorates before the rest of the DNA would. However, memory RNA seems immune to this, and makes Chaos able to permanently retain memories. This has only served to make him even more insane. If the DNA taken has the coding for super-powers, Chaos can exhibit these powers himself briefly. He has used this on the Titans and Titania before.
Since David's body is inter-connected to the symbiote, unlike Venom and Carnage, Chaos is capable of morphing into forms or shapes that would normally be impossible, since his human body can actually morph with the symbiote now.
Chaos still has some mental damage from his past, which reflects upon him now. He still has volatile mood shifts, and a hate of his father. He will also viciously attack anyone, except Titania, who mentions his mother in any way, and will sadistically torture them if it was in a negative way. One such victim was a police officer who, after receiving a psychological profile on Chaos, referred to him as a "mama's boy". Chaos proceeded to force him to the ground, then stab him with symbiotic spines, specifically shaped and placed in the body so that if the officer moved, he'd kill himself, yet he'd bleed to death if he didn't move. An officer watching this questioned why Chaos reacted so harshly at the name, only to be killed on the spot by hundreds of symbiotic spines through his body at once.
The Terrors themselves have learned to tread lightly around Chaos, as well as let him remain leader until his condition kills him, but they do occasionally conflict with his behavior. Case in point, Jack protested about Chaos bringing a street-light into the hide-out as a decoration. Another time, Crash was sickened to learn Chaos keeps human bones in his room, and when he was going to say where he got them, she told him to shut up because she was sick enough.
Chaos is weak to Sonics and Fire like a normal symbiote, but he won't separate due to them. He is also averse to being frozen due to being particularly liquid-like. If one were to reach into the symbiotic mass and pull the human part out, he'd die immediately, as would the symbiote.
