Given that the MURPG specifically doesn't have predefined "character classes" and so allows a great flexibility in character generation I thought it would be interesting for us to share some of our more wierd character creations.
It would be good to include Bios as they can often be as interesting as the character stats.
So, to start off I'll provide two for your amusement.

Challenges Mutant +3 Looking non-human +4 Can’t drive +1 Shunned by peers +2 (would you make friends with a talking mineral?) Total White stones 40 + 10 = 50
Notes:
1 As they must exist either as pure life energy or as crystalline sapphire I have given the “Must exist as element” for BOTH masteries, but have only discounted one. 2 The Force Blast for Mastery of Life Force functions as Drain Energy 3 The Teleportation is similar to a cross between of Teleportation and Astral Travel, but the extra time is during the jump rather than preparation. 4 Strength 0 as they don’t behave a normal physical entities, but use mastery of crystals to move anything crystalline. 5 Speed 0; ALL movement is by flying.
History
When Faith and Aaron were born their geologist father was stranded working overseas, unable to return home to support his wife. Whilst out walking the site he came across a large raw sapphire and distractedly picked it up. This was exactly at the time of the birth of the twins. Later whilst the sapphire was being cut, it fractured into two exactly equal but unevenly shaped pieces. These were then made into pendants for the twins.
When they grew up, Faith became an environmental scientist at the Upper Atmospheric Research Project and became increasingly interested in the possibility that cosmic rays could be involved in the growing mutation phenomenon. She designed an experimental protocol to investigate the possibility by flying a mission over the high Arctic. Her brother Aaron was a an air force pilot nearing end of his active service career with the military when the opportunity arose to join his twin sister on secondment to carry out this experiment.
During the flight while descending in the stratosphere above a particularly active thunderstorm, an exceptional pulse of solar radiation hit the upper atmosphere engulfing the plane at the same time that a sprite hit the plane from below. The plane carried on flying on autopilot, running out of fuel over Norway. When the wreckage was found there was no evidence of the twins other than their pendants. Later their parents came to pick up their effect. These were in two boxes with the pendants placed on top. Their mother picking up both pendants said “Even when apart they were still together in Life, they should be together in death” and brought the parts of the sapphire together again.
A flash of blue light filled the room and the sapphire floated free of her hand. The sapphire then spoke with both the twins’ voices in perfect unison. “We are here, together, now, always. When you need us we will be here”. Then the sapphire disappeared.

History
The precise origin of this AI construct is unknown, however it would seem to involve materials sourced from Stark industries, though this is conjecture based in the fact that Stark is known to be trying to track it. Other theories are that it occurred when Ironman fought off a mafia attempt to forcibly take technology from Nevotech’s nanotechnology plant. This theory is based on the fact that it appeared immediately after this incident and that Ironman’s suit transitorily an inexplicably lost power.
Although the construct appears intelligent it’s motives are completely unknown and possibly unfathomable.
Notes:
1 All the individual nanites ate capable of rebuilding the whole. 2 They communicate using wideband communication from ELF to gamma pulses. 3 Shape can be completely rearrange (like an amoeba)

Characters typically have scores of at least 1. But with that in mind, intriguing.

To some extent that's the point.
The Sapphires can only affect the physical world through influencing crystaline materials, and have no mobility at all in the conventional sense.
Conger can only move a few ounces by mechanical means and can move amoeba like but only about 1mph.
Normally I would agree the 1CL minimum, but these characters are intended to be, well, just wierd!
I'm pleased the idea intrigues you, it's fun to get a radically different view of things occaisionally.

Team 34: A superteam comprised of one superhero for each of the five most common fetishes on the internet. murpg.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Original&action=display&thread=6581&page=1It actually works quite well. I mean, Beast shows how effective a furry turned superhero can be! The Heroes are: The Fox, a magical fox person. Basically a martial artist superhero, but technically the incarnation of the essence of the 'Fox' species. Vixen, (she was adopted by The Fox and thinks of herself as a sidekick) an overweight girl whose layers of fat serve as body armour and the source of her superstrength. She intentionally gains weight all the time to become a more effective superhero. Others I haven't done yet include: A hero based on twins/clones. Obviously a duplicator. A hero based on self-inflation. A hero based on stuffing/overeating.

Golden Giant AKA Toybox
The Xvr 34 Golden Giant was the pride of the T'rij army a giant self aware robot capable of hunting Vurmic Behemoths a scourge of the Galaxy. Standing at 412 clicks tall it towered over even large buildings on the home world.
When the T'rij found out that Behemoths were using strange abilities to infest other dimensions they sent Their massive war machines to follow them . . .
Golden Giant 716A of the Xvr series was assigned to Earth. Worried that he would need to recruit humans in his fight against the behemoths he began work on inventions that would aid the humans in battle.
When he arrived in New York he found that the collected data about language and culture were accurate, however there was one thing missing from the reports . . . scale . . . On this world The Golden Giant was measured by a unit called inches and while he was a full dozen of these units tall he was quite small compared to the humans. His first contact was a young boy who described the giant as a Toy and he took the giant to his Toybox.
The toybox made for a great mobile workshop and the Giant took Toybox as his name even after he eventually moved on to a more fitting base.
************************************ Notes: This is a 40 Stone character with 6 points in limitations and two points held. He could be a fun PC and with his power to invent weak items he could be a benefactor to a low powered super team. Given a higher point total he could make for a great NPC benefactor for a 40 Stone team.
Toybox Int 5 Str 5 Agi 3 Sp 3 Dur 5 17 Stones
Shrinking 3 - 12 inches, (cost action +1, Limitation always on -1) Grants +2 Reflex dodge (Note Behemoths are also this size so when they fight each other this cancels out) Technology 3 Invention 2 Flight 3 Fireworks 6 Mental Defense 3 Toughness 3 Close Combat 3 (Specialty T'rij martial arts, which trains strikes, sword & staff) Range Combat 3 Thermal Vision
Disadvantages Looks Very Non-Human 4 This is a golden humanoid robot Deadly Enemies (Behemoths) (I only made this worth one point as he greatly outclasses the 20 point Behemoths) Psyc. Proud
Edit: please feel free to provide feedback, this is my first character. Any ideas where I should put those last two stones?
