These are some random Demons I created for the first adventure I ran with the new system. No fancy names or anything at this point for the differnet "types", just Type "whatever" demon (hmmm, maybe that was inspired by that D&D background, heh, heh). Called them Ezairus Demons after the plain from which they came, all stuff I totally made up.
Anyway, enjoy...

Shrinking is "Always on"
Appearance
Standing around 3-4 ft tall, the type I Ezairus demons are wingless and red-skinned with long gaingly arms that would drag the floor if they were not constantly waved in the air. Wicked claws tip the fingers and teeth jut upward from thier lower jaw. They have long, tappered ears and their eyes are red, with black, cat-like irises. The entire body is thin and guant, the skin seeming to be pulled severely tight.
Design Notes
These little beasties were designed with one goal in mind...test the "large group combats" of the new diceless system. They are meant to be used in groups. The original group was running Nightcrawler, Wolverine and Rogue. I brought the demons in groups of 3 - 6. The poor little demons couldn't really do much to Rouge (without some sort of SITMODs), but they sure kept Crawler and Wolvie on thier toes. They did allow me to test, and gain some experience with, large combats. I am finding that is it often easier in really large fights to just use a paper/pen method to keeping tracking of NPC engery, but I'm still working on that. The actual last, grand finale battle, had about 20 or so demons, but they didn't all attack and the players did not have to defeat them, just hold them off for 5 or so panels...lots of "large number" combat experience!).
Remember, bring these guys in large numbers! ;D

Shrinking is "Always on"
Appearance
Pretty much the same as the Type I variety, except they stand around 4 - 4 1/2 ft in height. They have slightly more bulky/muscular frames then their guant cousins and sport rounded, pot bellies.
Design Notes
Also pretty much the same as the Type I's, just a "beefier" variety. I would mix 1 or 2 of them in with the Type I's. These ones could hurt Rouge, so she had to pay attention when they were around.
Ezairus Demon Type III
Abilities
Intelligence: 1
Strength: 6
Agility: 3
Speed: 2
Durability: 6
Health: 6
Energy: 18
Actions
Close Combat: 3
Strength Bonus
Invisibility: 6
Modifiers
Claws: 3
- 2x damage
Toughness: 6
- No Armor Piercing
Enhanced Vision: 2
- See in Darkness
- Infra Vision
Wealth Modifier 0
Challenges
Looking non-human 3
Appearance
The "classic" demon look. Standing around 8 ft tall, long black horns protruding from his forhead. Cloven feet, long nasty claws, massivly muscular build. Very "Legendish" (heh heh).
Design Notes
The "big brother" demon. The Type III was met alone by the aforementioned X-Men, and he alone was enough for a challange. Wolerines sense's tipped them off to the invisible assailant. I am really not to sure what type of modifiers to give invisible foes, so I ran this guy with the following SITMODS...
"Unless detected the demon gains +1 free stone to attack rolls and +1 free stone on defense"
Even when Wolverine knew where he was, he still couldn't see him to avoid the demons attacks, so I still gave the demon the +1 to attack (not the defense though, Wolverine knew through his senses where the demon was...he didn't care "where" he was hitting him).
Be curious to see how some other GMs out there handle invisibility and combat.
Anyway, sorry for the long post <whew I went on for a while> hope you enjoyed. These guys can really be sculpted to fit the mold of "generic demons" in about any game/scenario or theme/genre.
Later
Anyway, enjoy...
