Figure i'd hop on t he band wagon and post a few of my characters. Who knows, maybe itll give someone else an idea for a character for one of their games... I know reading the other archives got me to thinking.
I'll start out with my fave chara... Presto. Or rather, the 'original' Presto. When DK was originally recruiting, I submitted an idea of a kid around 14-16 with the name Marvin Marlowe that had dreams of becoming a big magician. His codename would have been 'Kid Magic'. Of course, with DK's help I made him into the current Presto, and i'm so grateful for it XD.

Marvin was born a very quick witted young boy, blessed with a keen and highly abstract mind. From an early age it became apparent that he had a knack for solving puzzles and riddles, and coming up with unique solutions to problems.
When he was born, his parents received aid from a strange man who helped them to the hospital and even provided payment for their medical bills. In return, he was named the godfather of the child. Though at that time noone could understand that the man was the mortal guise of Mephisto, who had eyes on the boy for a future use.
Touched by Mephisto, or perhaps empowered by something beyond even him, Marvin showed a unique resistance to mental control and magic. He also seemed to act as an anchor to reality, being immune to attempts to distort him, or the region immediately about him.
In school he took a keen intrest in mathematics and sciences, graduating valedictorian and receiving an ample scholarship to college.
In college, he developed a form of holographic technology based on his own designed. The highly compact technology was able to be placed in something as small as cufflinks.
While still a student, he decided he'd try his hat at being a hero. New York always had its fill of crime, and no shortage of criminals, and he also saw it as a way to practically apply his skills.
Mounting his holographic projector into an old victorian pocketwatch, developing a pair of spring loaded shoes, and donning the guise of a stage magician, he took to the streets as 'The Prestigious Presto!'.
