Wealth: Millionaire Background story: Thomas Raven was an orphan that turned professional thief under the tutelage of world renowned crime boss Big D. Big D adopted him and taught him everything he knew through second hand informants and tutors; he also kept him under constant care of at least two gangs of thugs at any given time. He was to be his successor, along with his best friend and partner in crime, Regalous Marcel. They alone were responsible for two of the biggest heists of the century at the tender age of sixteen years, a research lab in a secret location that had contained a complete blueprint database of every government and private buildings, both secret and public, and a weapons development facility that belonged to the army and was undergoing advanced defense and offense weapon research. According to the plans and devices they stole Big D was planning something, well, big. But for some reason the theft never took place, and the police lost their trace. Until they arrived at Blaze enterprises that fateful afternoon; the day they were testing a stone with radiation. It caused Thomas great amounts of pain and regret, but he was no longer Thomas Raven, he was now “Shadow” the prophet of darkness and guardian of the shadow dimension. As Shadow he has only one eye, he is bound to the laws of justice and shades of gray. But of course, being super comes with consequences, he has developed a temper, specially about his parents, but he can redirect his anger into other matters. He is currently in the payroll of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s specialized superhero team The Hidden Avengers.

Tosha Bull “Untouchable” Motto: “The God of protection is by my side, how can you expect to harm me?”
Wealth: Broke Background: Tosha Bull is a native American Indian born in the Florida Indian reservations and trained to be the next shaman of the tribe, she was trained in astral travel by the tribe shaman, and warned never to approach any astral being specially the gods of the tribe. Yet, being a mere child she disobeyed when she first saw the village’s god of protection, she saw a handsome young Indian that beckoned her to go to him. These escapades became more frequent and prolonged, until one day the shaman went to find her in case she had found some trouble. Startled at what he saw the shaman cast a spell to trap her in her astral form, Uhn, the god of protection, intervened in the spell but it was too powerful, so it hit her partially and she was trapped between both planes, visible in the human realm yet not here in reality. Seeing how his spell had failed the shaman arranged an ancient ritual to ban her forever from their territories. The ritual was completed, but Uhn went away from their territories with his loved one, although she could no longer go into the astral plane, being stripped from her plane traveling power. She hates Spanish people because of the atrocious acts they committed to her people, and Uhn has told her each and every one of them. She has some gifts Uhn had given her before the curse came into effect. Later on she met “Shadow” another being that was once human and was trapped between dimensions and helped him resume his human form at will and also learned to resume her earthly state through concentration. She later became a friend and partner against crime when he became a part of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s specialized superhero group The Hidden Avengers.

Mark StCloud “Omni”
Wealth: Dead Broke Background: Once a normal kid. He wished to be a superhero so he started studying and cultivating his mind into a perfect memorizing machine, then he signed into an army program that had contacted him saying they could help him gain super powers. Apparently the program was a failure, since he came out two weeks later with some unknown chemicals in his blood and hairless due to his exposure to radioactive rays. He later learned that he contracted cancer due to the radioactivity and was slated to die in two months time. He died at the exact date that was given and buried one day later. Later that night he arose from the grave, an energy being, made through sheer willpower and the strange mix of chemicals in his decaying, radioactive, blood. He was now something more than human, he was superhuman. He has a bipolar problem that changes every day. He is a reserve member of the Hidden Avengers. (wealth -1, looking nonhuman, major psychological restriction, haunted past)

Peter Izzy Morgan “Army” Motto: “United we stand!!!”
Wealth: Dead broke Background: Unknown place of origin, unknown age although appears to be around 25 years old, appearance is American. Living with his normal middle class parents until, when he was around 8 years old (he recalls, more or less), they were killed in an accident when fleeing the scene of a superhero vs. villain fight. The Avengers found him and put him in an orphanage near Times Square (New York). Nonetheless, he escaped and began a life o petty crimes and theft when he was roughly 13 years old. And soon he met Thomas Raven and the rest of Big D’s North American syndicate. Not too long after that he was one of the regulars for New York area class 2 heists; he was near the top, and still rising. He was already in peak human condition and one of the smartest guys around. One day he heard that Thomas had an accident in his last mission and had died. On the day after he went on a bank raid and, being in a bad move shot a guy in the leg to set an example of what would happen if somebody disobeyed orders and tried calling the cops. The guy’s name was Bruce Banner. The Hulk came out, killed his men, someone called The Avengers, Hulk took Peter by both arms and crushed them from the elbows down. That’s all he remembers concretely, the spaces in between are gone, and the next are just pieces of consciousness. “Pain. Avengers fighting the Hulk. Some shadow over me. Pain. In a lab, smells of hospital. Pain. In a liquid, yet not drowning. Pain. Arms gone, someone says, we’ll replace them. Pain. …Super Soldier… Biotech adamantium… Pain, lots of Pain. Pain. Pain. Pain. Nothing. Cap’s dead. No more Pain. Wake up. Lab. Container with strange liquid again. Break it. Angry from Pain. Kill. Plant bombs. Steal logs. Leave. Boom… Wake up in abandoned building. Used to be a bank. Flashes of memory come back. I cry just remembering the Pain and loss. Then I read the logs. And I learn my secrets about what I am now.”
Powers: Human. Enhanced with a revived Super Soldier / Weapon-X stunt orchestrated by an unknown entity. Has biotechnologically generated flexible adamantium arms that start from just above his elbows. The arms have two small shields (1.5 ft in diameter) made from the same material joined to them. The shields bear a similarity to Captain America’s shield, and indeed, when they touch and he wills them to they fuse into and exact replica of Cap’s shield. He can swing the shield(s) outwards in a tendril that is the connection to his arms. The arms also have many hidden pockets that change as he wants them to and house a wide array of knives and throwing weapons, and a Bow and Arrows, they are also made of adamantium. He is a firm believer in helping those in need and was psychologically programmed not to break the law during his stay at the lab. He has developed a slight fear of being underwater due to his suspension capsule.
He is currently under the employment of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Initiative division, The Hidden Avengers, and is the leader of the team of heroes. Although he refuses to be paid for the job he is being economically backed up by his friend Thomas AKA Shadow, and fellow teammate Jasper AKA Jack.

Jasper Jinks “Jack” Motto: “What if I don’t know where the box is?”
Wealth: Ten million Challenges: Won’t break the law, pain receptors fried can’t feel pain Background: Files not found… Work history says that he worked for S.H.I.E.L.D. under Fury’s command. During this period he worked in a special tactical division trained to take down and apprehend super powered criminals in case of a superhero shortage due to some bigger problem being handled by them, also served as backup in case the heroes needed covering fire to retreat. Under Commander Hill’s command this unit was disbanded and fused with S.H.I.E.L.D.’s super powered human strike down teams, he served as the leader for his squadron. Under Stark’s command he is now part of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s own Initiative superhero team, The Hidden Avengers. His fortune appears to be family heirloom and from a brief partnership with Tony Stark in a research project in which he accidentally had his pain receptors fried and he can’t feel pain now. Thanks to his extensive training he has developed his own fighting style that involves his passion for dance and is deadly dangerous.

Evangeline James “Coraline”
Bio: A mutant orphaned at a young age by anti-mutant activists in her homeland of Great Britain. She turned out to be one of the most powerful telekinetic mutants alive from a young age and managed to kill all of her parents’ murderers quickly and without mercy, and enjoyed it, she was 5 years old and already one of the most intelligent minds on the planet. Her young mind has thought it over and she believes it is society’s fault that she is being persecuted and her parents are dead. This has generated resentment against society that continues to boil inside her up to this day. She enjoys causing pain to bad people a little too much according to everyone around her. Her past experiences and her innocence compel her to help those in need to such a degree that she probably would endanger her life for those she doesn’t even know. Her innocence is a nuisance in a world that doesn’t tolerate people like her, she enjoys being cruel, and she becomes infuriated every time she sees an anti-mutant manifestation to the point she has been known to start throwing rocks at the activists with her mind. Her appearance is also the target of many looks; ever since her force field manifested she has looked ghostly pale and slightly transparent, her assailants managed to scar her arms and torso to such a degree that they don’t even look human, but her face and legs have a supernatural beauty in sharp contrast to the scars. The limits of her powers are not yet known, and her young age is a factor that plays an important part on this. Her future is an uncertain one since her mental state is a delicate one; her traumatic childhood and excessive liking of pain causing are a troubling indication indeed, but her deeds and Xavier’s help have lifted hopes up for those who call her a friend. In the end, only time will tell. Bio:
BEST is a freak, a being that shouldn't have even been born. At least that's how he sees himself. Bernard Eugene Samson Tess is the result of a generations long breeding program with humans. He was the final step in the program, he is the perfect human. He was trained since childbirth to be the BEST, telepaths trained him, gave him the experience he needed until he was old enough to train himself. He was taught some ancient martial art, with a few modifications to make room for modern weapons, he was taught to concentrate to pick up minute details. He was given the best training in ranged combat and close combat. He was taught to lead, to defend his mind from attacks, to absorb the impact from energy weapons, and to perform magic dampening spells upon himself. He was taught to evade with inhuman speed, and to have just enough confidence so that he could do impossible things. He was taught everything he was and would ever be, and he was the BEST, he was given a suit to fit his needs, and he was perfect.
That was before. Before the accident that gave him his other power. The accident that made him a freak and useless to the program, and a disgrace to his parents. A special formula was being created in the lab upstairs, it was to become a special kind of glue. There was a break-in and he went to help, his first formal operation, a fight broke out and the formula spilled all over the criminal. As BEST took hold of him, the criminal started to scream in pain and melted, BEST had his hands, and feet, coated in that substance but it didn't melt him. The scientists theorized about this development and thought it was either his perfection that saved him from melting, or the dillution of the formula by mixing with the other human's mollecules. Soon after escaping the facility due to the fact that they wanted to "decomission" him, he found out that the formula gave him incredible climbing skills, and so he decided to stike out to save people in trouble. And also to be the BEST he could be.

Bio:
A mutant from russian descent, was abandoned ever since his powers first appeared. He doesn't remember much from his past, he was moved from orphanage to orphanage as he caused trouble at each one. He attended public school, although he found it to be quite boring and pointless.
One day, someone came by the orphanage he was currently at. A guy in a suit asked for him specifically. He was adopted after he agreed to enlisting in the man's secret organization. He was trained for the next three years to be a killing machine, a swift killing machine at that. His Psi-weapons are strong, but only last until he stops touching them and they touch another object, and for two seconds after that. He was also taught to learn and anticipate attacks after watching them only once, this was done just after they discovered he had the not so unusual ability to remember anything after seeing it just once. Eventually, after killing some people, he decided to strike out on his own, he was 17 years old and ready to take on the world.
He's not easy to aproach, neither is he one to be constantly meeting people, although those he does know he is extremely loyal to and are usualy people worthy of respect. He sometimes gives the impression of being kind of rough on people, especially those with childish personalities, but deep down he's a nice guy, and a great and reliable ally.
(OOC: He doesn't have an accent, he was born and raised in the US, although he does have the gruff, deep, and gutural tone of voice characteristic to russians)
