I thought there were a few threads already on how to write up a good Fredddy CAD, but can't seem to locate them. My goal here was to make a viable CAD using the standard 40+10 stone count. However, I have not been able to do so. I'm looking for advice on how you would write his powers up.
At first I thought a Dream Matery would be the best way to go, but after all of the options needed it would have been like a +20 CL power. Here is a list of powers I think he should have.
Fear:
- Absorb Option
- Only usable while a Dream Shpere is active (see Dream Sphere below)
Telepathy
- Control others/Project Thought
- Only when Dream Sphere is active
Drain Energy *Not really necasary, but sounds kinds cool IMO*
- Improved
- Must make a successfull close combat attack with his glove to use this action
- Only when Dream Sphere is active.
Dream Sphere
- As Hex Sphere with the following changes:
- Create a Dream reality with a radius equal tored stones spent on the area section on the D&R chart . Centered on self.
- use this power to simulate Feddy's ability to manipulate and control dreams. This also allows him to affect people even when they are awake.
Close Combat
- agility
- Bladed Glove
Healing Factor (Enhanced or Full)
- Only while Dream Sphere is Active
Immortal
- to permananetly kill him you must find his remains and perform a special ritual involving holy water, etc, etc..or whatever the player and GM come up with.
Reconstitute Self
Reflexive Dodge *Not critical to CAD*
Toughness *Not critical to CAD*
CHALLENGES
Needs to drain his Durabilty in White stones per day via Fear/Drain or suffer damage equal to the number of stones not drained. These stones cannot be healed until he has drained a number of stones equal to his Durabilty + the number of undrained stones. Example if he suffered 2 stones of damage with a 4 durabilty he would need to drain 6 stones in order ot heal the 2 lost stones of health.
When his health reaches 0 he turns to dust and remains dormant for a year and a day or until someone has a nighmare about him. He then gains 1 health but remains dormant gaining 1 health for each person who dreams about him until he is at full health.
Some of this stuff is probably way off or just not feasable, but this is what I amworking with as of now. Hopefully I can make it work. Though it will be interesting to see what you guys come up with.
