Background:
He is the youngest of a set of 3 brothers, all of which were born in the UK. He lives in London in the Docklands district, he has a penthouse apartment there, which his parents bought for him. His parents now both live in Spain where they have retired. One of his brothers (Martin) runs the family business, (A car dealership) and the other brother (David) works in insurance. David is married with children. He is not allowed to enter the house of David, as his wife (Karen) feels that my character could be a health hazard or dangerous for the children.
As a personality he is desperately lonely. All his brothers get on as such, but Martin is rarely still for five minutes. The domestic problem with David's wife Karen is a real issue for Jason.
This is a character with domestic issues rather than power issues.
There has always been the thought that his parents left the UK to live in Spain at that time to escape having to deal with him and the issues he posed.
This character is driven to do what he does so that he can be around people who are as different as he is. He enjoys doing good things for people but he's not a zealot. He's basically a really good guy trying to deal with some issues.

Background:
A converted character from our old Marvel SAGA system campaign Alan has been through an awful lot. He believed he was a British ex-wrestler and club bouncer who was experimented on and then recruited by a mysterious man to fight crime on the island of Madripoor. Working under his own name he was a member of the "Madripoor Knights" team then (while under the mind control of the Mandarin) he turned against his team mates as the villain The Disciple. He was then caught and incarcerated. Regaining his own mind and escaping SHIELD he returned to the team as Ronin (not revealing his ture identity to begin with for fear of ther rejection of him due to his past actions. As time continued he (and his team mates) discovered that he was never actually human at all but an android assassin built by A.I.M. at the Mandarin's request.
With the disbanding of the Madripoor Knights (and most of their members now working as operatives for SHIELD - an organisation who still consider him a wanted man) Alan was a man lacking in purpose. Therefore he has returned to the UK to try to discover how much of what he believed to be true about his past is true and to try to discover who he truely is.

After the final testing and an injection that changed his life he suddenly saw before his eyes all the selfless violence, and the jobs he had finished, contracts he had collected... the final treatment weakened his mind and he left amidst confusion. He searches for opportunities to do good, to make things better and gain redemption for his sins...
(Note; the final treatment has yet to happen - at the time of the first issue the rest of the team have only encountered him as a villain working against them)
