Hi all, this is a pair of characters I'm toying with tossing into a later session, partly as a humor element, partly as a "ethical situation" for the players. They have a habit of being really viscious lately, so I'm going to toss a couple of characters their way who aren't really bad guys, and let them pay the consequences for any extreme behavior.
Oh, and while the characters play a little on the U.S.'s stereotypes of southerners, please don't anyone take offense, as I was born in Georgia myself, and currently live in Kentucky, so....
Anyway, on to the characters (each 40 stones):

MUTUAL DESCRIPTION
A few years back, cousins Jake Clampett and Ford Hatfield were hunting with friends in the backwoods of Georgia when a nearby crash startled everyone. Upon rushing to the scene, they found a crater with a bowling ball-sized stone in the center. The stone was steaming, and had a strange blue glow to it... that being the case, only Jake and Ford were willing to get a closer look at the thing. Shortly though, the glow dissipated, the guys got bored, and left to finish their hunting.
That's when the strange events started happening... like Ford finding his clothes would sometimes not fit, only to later fit like usual. Or Jake waking up and finding his bed collapsed. Being closer than brothers, they discussed their situations (between themselves only, of course,) and eventually concluded that it had to have been the strange space rock. Some experimentation confirmed their abilities... Jake's ability to gain mass, and Ford's ability to grow (he found it convenient that his ability extended to his clothing....)
Of course, after this, it was mere days before everyone in the county knew the boys had some new party tricks. They became local legends, but that didn't mean much in a county where nothing ever happened. Soon enough, they hit on the idea of hiring out their services. They chose names for themselves, but were stuck on their group name until Jake suggested using one from one of their favorite video games. And thus, the Biggeron Boys were formed. A computer-proficient cousin helped whip out a business card, and off they went....
...Although things weren't *entirely* rosy. They got a few jobs every now and then, but not enough to keep them from the usual pranks of everyday 20-something country boys. Not that (most of) the people of the county held it against them. After all, when it really came down to it, they'd help out anyone who needed it.
Jake is an athletic, friendly, somewhat mischevious guy a little older than his cousin. Loves to explore and poke at things and situations. He has a way of talking Ford into getting into trouble with him, although never with malicious intentions. Is rather proud, and can blow a gasket when he's mocked or made fun of.
Ford, despite his size, is a easygoing, more laid-back guy than Jake. He's content to let Jake do the talking and leading, but is (ironically) very protective of him... as he is all his friends. A hard worker, not as clever or witty as his cousin, but with a strong conscience (which Jake has to get past rather often.)
