Lesson learned while making this character: Intelligence Energy is not as hot as I thought it was. In fact, Intelligence Energy is a good bit more expensive a route to take, especially at high levels.

Description
When little Sinovia was just a Russian peasant girl, she came upon a pool while walking alone through the woods one day. Being very thirsty, she drank from it. Little did she know that in ages past, a badly wounded Loki had drunk from that same pool after a battle with Thor. In a rare show of gratitude, the god blessed the pool with a fragment of his power.
Later, as it got dark and Sinovia was walking home, she stumbled amid a pack of seven wolves. They eyed her hungrily, and she found herself too terrified to run. The next thing she knew, she was watching the scene from high up in a pine tree. Where she had stood, there was now a massive silver wolf towering over the others. It bared its teeth and growled, and the other wolves fled.
Is this my spirit guardian? Sinovia wondered, and almost before she thought it, she stood on the ground again. She reached out to touch the beautiful wolf, but her hand passed right through it, and it melted away at her touch. She realized that she had created it in her mind and somehow made it appear.
Sinovia thought that her talents would make her the best Russian actor since Stanislavsky, so when she was old enough, she got a government grant to go to drama school. However, her talents were quickly noticed by the KGB, who inducted her into their Psy-Ops division.
Now, Sinovia was born in 1955. When she was introduced to the life of a spy at 18, it was 1972. The state of the KGB's Psy-Ops division from 1972 to 1994 can best be described as "wacky." Crackpot science was the rule of the day, leading to fairly ridiculous mission assignments, with absurd objectives and penalties for failure ranging from the goofy to the deadly. Most Psy-Ops "agents" had about as much psychic power as a carnival spoon-bender, and the few agents who acually did possess psychic ability tended to keep themselves busy fighting over control of the division. High-ranking officials proudly strutted around Psy-Ops facilities in elaborate and ridiculous headgear, mind-controlled into believing the devices protected them from any form of mental intrusion. Unscrupulous division heads made secret deals with crystal-gazing charlatans to discredit their rivals. Above it all, a select few powerful minds were vaguely amused.
Amid this morass, there was occasionally actual training and espionage assignments going on, and it was here that Sinovia excelled. Loki's blessings against trickery had made her difficult to mesmerize, and her lack of telepathy kept her from becoming involved with the division's internal struggles. Her skills at deception, combined with her illusion and teleporting abilities and her mysterious innate knowledge of every spoken and written language, made her a frightfully effective agent.
Too effective, it turned out. Five years after her arrival, one of her fellow agents, a telepath codenamed Portent, became jealous and "suggested" to a division head that she become a test subject for a new cryogenic freezing technology. She was taken by surprise, knocked out, drugged, and put into a cryogenic tank for 10 years, until Portent suffered an unfortunate case of friendly fire.
Loki's blessing of immortality made her the project's only survivor. After she was revived, she was offered a chance to return to Psy-Ops, but she was sick of the incompetence surrounding her and sick of the way her countrymen were made to suffer under the division's watchful eye. She easily escaped the KGB and came to America, where she quietly lived out her life until the fall of the USSR. (During this time her body did not age a day, as it had not since she was 20.) Hoping against hope that the Psy-Ops division had perished also, she began using her powers to fight crime and called herself by her real name again.
Of course, Psy-Ops was still active thanks to its psychic agents, albeit in much leaner and sadder condition. When Sinovia reappeared, they sent agents to recapture her in hopes of pressing her back into service. She reminded them of a certain kind of Golden Age in Psy-Ops, and her looking exactly the same as she did several decades ago only reinforced that. They failed, of course, but there is a standing department bonus offered on her recapture.
Sinovia wears an all-black jointed kevlar ops-suit. She has been known to wear a black helmet also at times. In battle she loves to use tactics that will confuse the enemy or make them look especially foolish. This includes:

Sinovia wears an all-black jointed kevlar ops-suit. She has been known to wear a black helmet also at times. In battle she loves to use tactics that will confuse the enemy or make them look especially foolish. This includes:
- Creating an illusion of herself as she teleports to safety, so that the illusion is attacked instead.
- Creating the illusion that all of her foes look and sound like her. This is combined with another illusion of a cloud of smoke to cause even more confusion.
- Swapping places (and appearances) with an opponent or object via Create Illusions and Teleport.
