Starlight City Museum: Early Afternoon Unveiling ceremony for the newly acquired and intensely mysterious Azure Butterfly.
A'right, boys, you know what to do!
Six thugs pile into the Starlight City Museum, each wearing a makeshift costume designed to conceal their identities. One of them, seemingly the leader of the group, pulls out a Tommy gun and lets a few shots loose into the air. The people inside the small museum begin to scatter, hiding behind various desks and artifacts, hoping to avoid any kind of harm. The leader of the thugs then continues to speak.
Okay, so here's how this is gonna go. Youze guys is gonna stay right there and don't do nuttin'. He pauses for a second, thinking about what to say next. My boys here are gonna go grab that new jewel he clearly enunciates two syllables in this word that this establishment has so recently procured.
He steps around a bit, giving signals to his men. Now, let's all be nice and quiet so none of those dirty supers show up, capice?
=====
Okay, this is the scenario! In your post, explain why you may be around the area or aware of what's going on and go jump into the fray.

The Azure Butterfly. Quite the archeological coup. Samuel Sanchester stands in awe of the device from the door to the Archeological department. As soon as the commotion started, he silently closed the door, and walked towards the window in his office, locking the door behind him. There he opens the window, and jumps out after taking off his main clothing revealing his Dragonheart uniform. Outside, he manifested his dragon wings, and took off from one side of the Museum to the other and entered through the front door.
"Cease and Desist creatins!" He shouts "By order of Dragonheart!" With that, he leaps at one of the goons and let him have it to accentuate his point.
Action 1: 1 stone in Flight to move at Flight 4 to get to the front of the Museum Action 2: 5 stones in Close Combat to knock out one of the Goons to make his point.

Dr. Genevieve O'Grady wasn't here in any professional capacity, merely a personal curiosity towards the Azure Butterfly. It was quite the archaeological wonder, and she was curious to take a good look at it up close, at least behind the glass.
When the goons arrived, Genevieve knew it had to be protected. Slipping behind cover, ever-modest, she changes into her Gravity Girl costume. Hovering into the scene, she tries to get out her voice beyond a whisper, although it comes off as at best a moderate tone, "Halt, criminals!" She tries to increase the gravitometric fields around the goons, to disorient them and throw off their shots.

Word on the street is, this Azure Butterfly has caught the eye of someone big in the underworld. Joseph discovered through good, old-fashioned detective work, that an attempt to rob the Butterfly was going to go down on opening day. When he presented this to the Chief he was laughed out of his office. This wasn't very surprising, after all, there wasn't much evidence, but Joseph knew something was going to happen.
He found a good hiding spot to get the best surveillance of the Starlight City Museum. He felt ridiculous, bare chested, with his identity hidden under a wolf's head and a coup stick in his hand, hidden in a cluster of bushes in a back lot of the museum.
His patience pays off when he sees a particularly peculiar sight. A man throws himself from a back window three stories up! To make matters more interesting, this man suddenly grows huge bat wings on his back, with roughly a sixteen foot wingspan. The man gracefully glides down to the front and enters the front doors.
This is insane!
Joe figured that was good enough for him. It was time for him to make his move. He looks about and makes sure there was no other surprises. Joseph runs in after the bat man, but tries to keep it on the DL to get a better assessment of the situation inside. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Health 4 Energy 12

Betrand was late, as usual.
How someone that moves at the speed of sound can constantly NOT be no time is beyond me! Alicia exclaimed, as he rushed from the cab to meet her. He'd been at a meeting concerning the new X-25 prototype at Lockman Group--or so be told her. In actuality, he'd just had it out again with The Iron Knight.
Meeting inconclusive, he'd decided, But now I know where his base was. He'd put it out of commission while still having time to clean up, get dressed, and be JUST a bit late for his date with Alicia. Not that he liked much her choice of plans.
Unveiling the Azure Butterfly? He made a mental note to remind himself to chastise her again for being such a square. (he so LOVED it when she defended herself on that note.
Everything's cool, sweetie, he assured her. We haven't missed anything. But we might should wait for Clyde. He said he'd be along in...
That was when the thugs made their appearance...
MORE action? he sighed. Oh, well, a hero's work is never done, is it?
In a flash, he grabbed Alicia and jetted her to safety, hoping no one noticed his actions in the chaos of the moment.
Take care of the missus, then it's exit Bertrand Barrier -- Enter SUPERSONIC!

It had become a habit for Eisen to pay visits to as many events and exhibits as possible in the past few weeks. His host and guardian Dr. Engstrom made an effort to expose him to as much of our culture as possible, and an afternoon at the unveiling ceremony was perfect chance for Eisen to learn something about the significance we place on archeology.
Today would not be like the familiar routine, as he realized when the masked men presented their weapons. Eisen knew very well what a heist was, and with a look and nod to Dr. Engstrom he acted as he saw fit.
In an instant, his button-up shirt, dress pants and other garments dropped to the ground as he vanished with a muffled hiss. At the same time, he notices a costumed woman and attempts to make out what she is saying to the thugs. He perceives it as a threat and decides his best move is to make his way towards the apparent head of the group and prepare to disarm him if he appears to direct his fire to the hovering girl.

Fear in their faces, the crowd begins to worry until Dragonheart swoops into the building. Greeted by cheers and applause from the concerned citizens, Dragonheart charges one of the thugs, the force of his strike knocking him unconcious, sailing across the room and landing against the wall. Almost as if on cue, three other costumed heroes appeared, although one just as quickly disappeared, the crowd none the wiser to his presence.
Whaddya you think you're doin'? the head thug asks, raising his gun and pointing it at Gravity Girl. As he lifts the barrel, it is clear that the gun is much heavier than he had anticipated. Frustrated, he yells out I think about now is probably a good time to maybe finish this up, eh?
At this cue, the other thugs bring up their guns, all with equal resistance as their leader and begin pointing them at the heroes in the room.
Meanwhile, Red Wolf lurks around the corner of the exhibit's entrance. Peering inside, he sees three of the city's renowned heroes confronting a group of six thugs (one of which is clumped next to a sizable dent in the wall). The thugs look both armed and dangerous, although the superheroes look to have a clear upper hand in the situation.

Looking around the room and seeing two other heroes Dragonheart smiles saying "This is why Criminals will never win.." He says "People won't stand for it, they'll rise up, and stop you." As he says this, he attempts to lay out two more of the criminals.

Genevieve does what she can to concentrate on keeping the increased gravity field up, all the while surrounding her own body with fluctuating heavy gravity fields that should shield her from harm.
"In this weighted environment you couldn't hit the broad side of a barn!" she taunts.

What are you doing? Put me down! Put me d-
She was complaining again. But then that was her way. Alicia was headstrong for a woman. And Bertrand knew better than to cross her TOO much, so...
Ooookay...
**THUD***
And down she sent into the soft, safe sanctuary of the beautiful decorative fountain at the Haynes Pavilion. Naturally, she was livid. And naturally, he'd have to make up for this iniquity.
But Bertrand found himself smiling nevertheless, as he got out of the monkey suit and into the golden hues of Supersonic.
Sorry, honey! Duty calls! And you DID say "put me down!" A quick change, then he was off. Duty calls. Don't wait up for me, baby-doll. He hoped against hope she would stay put, but he knew better. Well, if she wants to run six blocks to see me work, fine. he thought. 'Sides, I intend to have things wrapped up by then.
In a flash, he was up to speed, and barreling toward the action. His hyper-quick mind sized up the situation (though even the slowest dullard would be able to do that). Thugs & guns, he sighed. Will they NEVER learn.
He turned on the afterburners and zipped into the fray.
Hey, gang, sorry I'm late. Say--didn't your mommy teach you never to play with guns? Tut, tut, mon frere. Guess you need a lesson.

Joe eyes the thugs. Seems the talkative one is in charge. From his hidden vantage point, no one seems to notice, so Joe uses this to his advantage. Red Wolf charges in and punches the leader square where the skull meets the neck.
This should take the leader down and if everything works out right, Red Wolf will face the others in a crouch. Tensed and ready to fight some more, gripping his Coup Stick tightly. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Health 4 Energy 11

And finish this up, they did. Well, to some extent, at least. As Red Wolf pounces from around the corner, the leader of the thugs only has a dumb look on his face as Red Wolf's coup stick connects squarely into his neck. The pain of the hit sends the thug straight to the ground, a shattered, unconscious mess.
Supersonic then bursts through, into the scene, flying straight into two of the dumbfounded criminals. One of the two goes limp after being hit by Supersonic, but the other one begins to struggle up to his feet, gun in hand.
Dragonheart, seeing this thug begin to stand up, begins to teach him a moral lesson. His wing strikes, ensuring that the thug remains on the ground. Another thug then approaches from behind, but Dragonheart whips his tail around, striking the thug square in the chest and him back through the air. With a thud, the thug lands next to the display case around the Azure Butterfly, which rocks precariously from the force of the thug's landing.
The thug then raises his gun and points it at Dragonheart, sending a flurry of bullets. Dragonheart's tough hide, however, prevents him from being damaged by the bullets. The next thug, who managed to avoid any kind of assault, looks around nervously. Struggling to raise his gun against the heavy gravity, he fires a few shots at Gravity Girl. Managing to dodge away from the bullets, she notices one fly directly toward her skull. With her hands raised, she increases the weight of the area around her, bringing the bullet to the ground.
The two thugs now look at one another, trying to communicate but (seemingly) failing. The thug that landed by the Azure Butterfly pushes his gun aside and lifts his hands in concession. The second thug then follows in suit dropping his gun and admitting defeat.

Red Wolf stands over the unconscious thug he dealt with and looks at everyone in the room. He walks over to the Azure Butterfly and hands it the museum employee in charge. He then looks at each of the other heroes, slowly. Then suddenly, he bolts out of the museum. The police will be here soon and he knows how the police like vigilantes. Outside Red Wolf returns to his hiding spot and watches. His motorcycle hidden beside him, so he's ready to tail on of these heroes, if they leave. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Health 4 Energy 6

Supersonic SWOOSHED to a halt, landing with a THUD next to the remaining thugs.
Come to our senses, have we? he crowed. Good for you! After all...CRIME DOESN'T PAY!
It was a nice little diversion for Bertrand. Maybe museums aren't so boring after all. Even that little excursion, though, had made him a bit hungry. And though this was a semi-somber situation rife with the typical heroic posturing, he couldn't help but ask, Say...anyone know if there's a hot dog vendor working nearby?
At about that moment, one of the other heroes sprinted out the building, causing Betrand to wonder, Hmmm..maybe he already HAD the hot dogs?
