"He's right..." Dragonheart says his extra appendages disappearing. Then to Supersonic says "The corner has a nice Hotdog vendor... but perhaps you should wait till the police arrive to apprehend these guys?"
With that, Dragonheart waits for the police to arrive to give a statement.

Red Wofl, quick to flee the scene, finds himself unable to exit the museum! Indeed, all of the exits seem to be barred off by a clear wall of sorts. Stuck in the museum, he must wait for something to happen.
Unaware of this going on, the other heroes wait for the police to arrive. The lights become visible outside, but the cops seem to be unable to enter the building. Suddenly, a loud voice booms through the museum.
So! You think you can foil my plans, do you? Think again! The Azure Butterfly is already in my hands and you are all powerless to stop me!
The voice... the barriers. Clearly, this is the work of The Jeweler, an infamous criminal known for drawing power from various forms of diamonds and crystals. The Azure Butterfly, then, was a natural target for a criminal of his nature, but this kind of heist is quite large-scale, even for him.

Dragonheart looks around for where the voice is coming from "Come out Jewler! You can't have the Azure Butterfly, it's a archeological treasure!" He shouts trying to goad the man out.

Red Wolf slams into an invisible barrier, knocking him back. He keeps his balance, but barely. He sees the police arrive, their lights flashing, spotlights falling directly upon him, blinding him. Quickly he scrambles to hide, when he hears the nefarious voice. He finds a place, hidden in the shadows, so the police couldn't see him and then scans the crowd within the museum, looking for the manager he gave the jewel to. Could he be this Jeweler? =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Health 4 Energy 6

Powerless? Who in the world did he think he was talking to?
You're about to find out just how powerless we are, Jeweler! Supersonic shouted, as he went to to full speed. Under other circumstances, he might worry about the missus. But if the police couldn't get in, surely she couldn't either. She was safe. Which meant HE was free to do his thing.
Let's go troopers! Someone needs a lesson in humility!
Without a second thought, Betrand zoomed about the museum, looking for signs of their brazen foe.
And he better hope I don't FIND him.

That fiend! Lowering to the ground she saw the others heroes and sheepishly asks, "Um, anyone know what we should do?"

Dragonheart looked at Gravity Girl and says "We do what we always do. Find the villain, and bring them to justice. Now stand up, look tall, and have confidence that we're going to win." He ends nodding once, and then giving her a smile, hoping to lighten her mood.
(OOC: God I sound cheesy... But it IS the Silver Age)

The heroes begin to scurry around the museum in search for the criminal that has planned such a heist. Supersonic and Red Wolf all set out on their own ways. Supersonic, although scouring the entire area, seems unable to see The Jeweler anywhere. Red Wolf, too, cannot find the criminal, but does find the man he handed the jewel to.
"Red Wolf," the man says somewhat afraid. "After he said that he had the Butterfly, I had to check! This one's a fake! We were duped!"
Meanwhile, Dragonheart attempts to goad the Jeweler out of hiding. While the Jeweler refuses to show himself, a loud crash is heard from across the room. After a few moments, the Jeweler speaks again.
That which cannot be seen must be deemed a truly terrifying threat. But what should you do? Put an end to a man sharper than sight? The crystal's the key, for which you will see, I cannot be stopped so soon. So surrender or else the fight will get rough. So many innocents and so little time; can you bring an end to this crime?

Red Wolf bows his head in desperation before the employee. He listens to the jeweler's speech and turns to the employee. May I see this fake Azure Butterfly? Another day, another problem to be solved, Betrand blithely thought. He’d never personally encountered The Jeweler, so he had little reason to absolutely fear him. Still, invisibility…
He needed to even the odds a little.
He banked back toward the crash area, his supersonic brain ticking off possible responses. Museum…Relics…safety measures…FIRE BAD!
He assumed this place probably had a sprinkler system. Maybe a little downpour would provide a shroud of some kind for the wayward thief.

Dragonheart had to concentrate.. Had to get an idea... then... turning to Gravity Girl, he says "You made it hard for the ciminals to move before... How large of an area can you do that on?" he asks.

"Not too big of an area... and it's weaker the wider I make it... a 10 foot diameter, maybe?"

"Hmmm.. not wide enough. If he's invisible, we need a way to reverse that." Dragonheart says, and then closes his eyes, and begins sniffing the air, hoping to get a bead on a scent that isn't supposed to be there..
Action 1: 6 stones in Intelligence + 3 stones from Draconic Senses to try and sense the Jeweler.

Quickly, the heroes sprung to action. Acting first, Supersonic went straight for the crash. Looking around, he locates the sprinkler system, setting it off. The sprinklers go off in the whole museum, dousing all of the people and some artifacts. The particularly valuable pieces, thankfully, are safe under covers. As Red Wolf and Dragonheart scan the area for The Jeweler, wet footprints begin to show up on the ground. Realizing he's been found, the Jeweler drops the invisibility.
Now in the center of the museum stands the Jeweler, cradling the Azure Butterfly. Wearing a yellow bodysuit highlighted with black lines and goggles, the Jeweler looks at his foes.
Think you have me? We will see who the winner will be!
Holding the Azure Butterfly, the jewel glows vibrantly, this glow transferring through and around the Jeweler. The Jeweler then stands encased in a blue, crystalline armor with blades at the tips of his arms.
The Jeweler will not be stopped so easily, heroes!
He then charges forward, preparing to strike.

Well that worked like a charm, Betrand decided. But why didn't I get him on Sonar?
No matter now. The Jeweler had an ace up his sleeve (not to mention several bad rhymes). Sonic decided to play the stalking horse.
Nice outfit, Edith Head! He yelled, zipping by to raise a nice rooster tail of splashing water. But does it REALLY swim, Mr. Shakespeare?
