[shadow=black,left,300]SECOND WIND[/shadow] "Can any one man stop someone with Bora's fearful power?" Piotr and Kurt hear their professor ask the one called Moon Knight. [shadow=black,left,300] "I don't know," [/shadow] the cowled man answers. [shadow=black,left,300] "I don't see where I have any choice but to try."[/shadow] The world at large does not know Xavier's School is home to the X-Men. Neither does this Moon Knight person that has come to visit its headmaster. So for now, Colossus and Nightcrawler remain hidden, at least until the costumed adventurer takes his leave. [shadow=black,left,300] "Thank you for your help, Professor."[/shadow] As Charles Xavier watches Moon Knight walk back across the school's front lawn, he reaches out to the minds of his students with his own mutant power. [glow=brown,2,300]Colossus. Nightcrawler.[/glow] Then turning his head toward the top of the stairs behind him, Xavier speaks two more words, this time outloud. "You heard?"Colossus's Health: 2/2 Colossus's Energy: 6/6 [Human form, but in costume]

Nightcrawler slips out of the shadows, not entirely blending in as he might, but still quite effective, "Professor? What is going on?"

Moon Knight came to the professor for information on a young mutant, that the media named Bora. Bora first used the frigid winds she commands to murder seventeen year old ballerina Mariya Andreyanova in Paris France. More recently, at a publicity event in Manhattan, Bora used her terrifying powers to execute Sergey Valberg, one of the Corps De Ballet's star performers. Moon Knight expects this Bora to strike again on opening night of the Corps De Ballet's 'Laurencia' at the Barrington Theater.

One might say that Ororo Munroe, leader of the X-Men, is doing graduate work. But being hit on by Moon Knight's helicopter pilot is not a regular part of the Xavier School curriculum. However, keeping the secret that 1407 Graymalkin Lane, Salem Center, NY is home to the X-Men is! Storm's Health: 3/3 Storm's Energy: 9/9

Piotr shakes his head. It 's so sad to hear about senseless death. We must do something, Kurt, now that we know. Why is she doing this Professor?

"Bora was a pupil of Sergey Valberg, before he fled their homeland." The Professor explains. "Young Bora wanted nothing more than to be a great ballerina, until the day she was seized by unnatural convulsions and found Sergey was gone. She awoke to find her long-cherished goals thrust eternally beyond her reach. For what choreographer had ever conceived a ballet for a seven-foot-tall artist?"Pulling a pipe from his jacket, Xavier continues. "Bora believes the purpose to the shattering of her dreams is for her to use the power within her new form to exact retribution on those who would rob her country of their skills and their genius.""At least that is what Bora claimed to be the nature of her madness, as she used her mutant gifts to end Valberg's life." Professor X lights a match before addressing Kurt's question. "Should we deal with her ourselves? I would say yes... normally."Colossus's Health: 2/2 Colossus's Energy: 6/6

Oh boy. Well, might as well humor him. He'll ask fewer questions.Ororo thought. "You could say that. A scholar, are you? A scholar of what?"

Kurt looks over to Peter, then back at the Professor. He felt conflicted. He takes a deep breath and silently prays for strength, wisdom, and guidance. Feeling his heart at peace, he smirks toothily, "What do you say, Peter? Perhaps you want to take in an opera? I hear 'Laurencia' is the show of the season, after all."

Piotr flashes a boyish smile at Kurt. Da, a show would be nice, tovarisch. Take our mind off our stresses. Would this be good Professor?

Piotr feels that they have just led the Professor where he wanted to go. Kurt also fears that Colossus and Nightcrawler are still very much the pupils... and Xavier the teacher. [OOC: It's time for a short hiatus for you two. I'll send a PM when it's time for each of you to post again.]

Moon Knight knows he's a mite bit outclassed by Bora, so he called in the best backstops money can't buy, The Fantastic Four! This Bora murdered one of the stars of the Corps de Ballet. Moon Knight expects this Russian dame to strike again tonight at the Barrington Theater. Mister Fantastic told Ben that the bora is a cold, dry wind. It can reach speeds of 125 miles per hour and has been known to overturn trucks. So the Thing keep a baby-blue eye out for a mutant with those powers. But instead, he spots an indigo-skinned, pointy-eared X-Man, seated in a balcony loge. What brings Nightcrawler here? Thing's Health: 6/6 Thing's Energy: 18/18

Ben also wondered if there were any others here. Was this "Bora" such a danger that it took Prof. Xavier's X-Men and the Fantastic Four to deal with?
Ben was not one for the theatre, however it was a free show, even if he was actually having to be here on official business.
