"I don't know sir... could take anywhere from a few hours to several days." Gumshoe admits. "Those forensics guys always like to be thorough." He says.

Edgeworth
The prosecutor frowned, then nodded. He guessed they would do what they could, but time was of the essence.
-...Very good, detective. Please tell them to hurry, however... for if we do not have this information before two days from now, it will be too late for it to be of any use.
Edgeworth guessed they had little choice: further investigation was necessary, for he couldn't rely on possible proofs he risked not getting in time.
-Wright, it seems we'll need to investigate this further... I mean, when miss Fey has recovered, of course... By the way... I am not interrupting a case of yours by asking for your help, am I?

"No... It's okay... We had nothing else to do right now anyway." Wright says.

Edgeworth
The prosecutor nodded as silent thanks to his old friend and rival. So much the better... if he had Wright and his assistant's help in this, he felt confident the case would be taken care of even more quickly than by himself and the detective. If only because of Maya's mysterious clairvoyance and spirit channeler powers... and Phoenix Wright's luck. Combined with his own deductive and investigative skills, and the support Gumshoe could bring them as a member of the Police... it was only a matter of time.
-Miss Fey is taking an awfully long time to recover... Will she be alright?
Just to be sure, Edgeworth checked if her vitals were stable. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 stones into Medical Healing (First Aid) to just make sure she's okay.

Maya then gets up. "Sorry... It's just the dark magic here was so overwhelming." She explains.
A couple hours later you get a call from Gumshoe on your cell phone. "Mr. Edgeworth... The test results came back... It was 50% Cocaine in the powder... along with some sort of cystalised liquid pheromones... The DNA inside the cystals matched Zebediah Killgrave."

Edgeworth
Zebediah Killgrave... this name ringed a bell, that it did. If he wasn't mistaken, it was quite possibly more than what he needed.
-Killgrave... otherwise known as the Purple Man?... These are great news... Excellent work, detective. And what of the tests on Schultz during the analysis at the time of his arrest? Do they match with this powder in any way?
Ordinary drug tests had proven negative, that was true, but knowing what they knew now, there was a good chance the tests would reveal a connection. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Start H: 2/2 E: 15/15
11 stones (Efficient) into General Knowledge (The "Big Names") to remember what he knows about Zebediah Killgrave from previous investigations and readings.
End E: 7/15 Defense: 1 (Reflexive Dodge) Mental Defense: 8 (6 Intelligence, 2 Unshakable) +2 Fear Defense

You remeber that Killgrave was a Yugoslavian spy who's power was to mind control people via pheromones. He was also an unrepentant theif, rapist and murderer.
"As odd as it sounds... Yes they do... Somehow the Cocaine, and phermones were preventing each other from being detected on the drug test." The Detective says.

Edgeworth
The prosecutor nodded to nobody in particular; he could already taste the sweetness of victory and of the truth.
-Fantastic. We have all that we need for now. Thank you very much, detective. Please send a report including all that you found and the results of those tests at my office as soon as possible. I will call you if there is anything. Otherwise, I'll see you in court in two days... Until then, goodbye.
He hung up, satisfied with his investigation for the time being. Now all that he needed to do was to make a few phone calls, but that could wait until he was back at the office.
-Wright... the tests are positive. The powder I found here was indeed used to control the Shocker during that bank heist, therefore I have what proofs I need to bring the truth into the light. As well as enough leads to send the law on the tracks of the real guilty party. Thanks to detective Gumshoe and miss Fey, it seems this case is well on its way of being over. Please accept my thanks for your assistance earlier.
He bowed in thanks, and then checked his watch; what time was it?

It was 7:30 in the evening... Wright and Fey gave their welcome and went off as well.

Edgeworth
-Good night... Until we meet again.
"Possibly in court one of these days", the Prosecutor guessed. After all, he was New York's King of Prosecutors, and Phoenix Wright and his colleagues, "Foggy" Nelson and Matt Murdock, were rather famous defense attorneys. Facing any of them in a trial was always a pleasure, especially because they were all as dedicated to finding the truth as he was, especially Wright and Murdock. Edgeworth decided he had done much more than what was expected of him in a single day. What little had to be done would have to wait tomorrow in the morning. Giving one last look around the scene and picking up his vest (it was a little dirty, but he had others at home), he returned to his car and headed back home. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 stones into Vehicle Operations (Light vehicles, Sports cars) to head back home.

(I'm gonna skip ahead to the end of the trial.)
When all is said and done, Herman is aquitted of the Robbery, and the police are still hunting for Calypso... You are sitting alone in your office awaiting your next assignment when a 6'5 muscular black man with a pencil moustache and a crew cut walks inside.
"Mr. Edgeworth... It's a pleasure to meet you... My name is Byron McClane... I'm with the United States Federal Prosecution commision, and I have a job for you..."
(OOC: End of this issue, take 6 lines.)

(OOC: Oh... too bad, I was already dreaming of the pleasure to prove Schultz innocent with my solid evidence. I guess I'll keep that satisfaction for future, more important trials then. ^_^ Thanks for the LoEs, and... well, awesome job! First Issue was awesome, I just loved it!!)
