SECHS
Sechs was thinking, changing the world for the better was indeed a noble cause, that everyone could get along was rather utopic. For it to happen, everyone would need to share in the same ideals, which he doubt would ever happen unless the whole human race was raze to the ground, along with anyone aware of their culture and their influence.
All civilisations were build on the back of another after all. But then many questions could be ask in the potentiality that mutants were the dominant race, what then when they had no more shared ennemies to unite them? What then?
-It would be nice to not fear death at every corner....-
He agreed sadly.
-But what then? If we say the world comes to your vision, that humans are gone and mutants dominate, how are we gonna keep harmony amongst being with powers as varied as being able to put ink to parchment to the power to lift a whole building with a single hand? How are the strong who might abuse their power be dealt with? From my understanding, you wish for a world where all mutants will be safe yes? But mutants....they stem from human society influence...so of course, will their views on the world be different...and once humans are no longer our common problem...what then? Are you gonna establish a new ruling institution? And how do you intend to enforce rules if rules there are?-
This was deeply philosophical and theorical, but of course, it was a problem for the morrow, but one that needed being address long before anything else happens. Panic tends to create opportunities, and not always of the good kind.

"Well, for you it sounded more like an ask than an offer." She shrugged.
"I'm sure it's cool between you two. Now you and Melissa, I don't think it's so cool. For obvious reasons.."
"Better to leave it in the past where it belongs. She's not here for the time being, so it gives you both time to cool off for awhile before you have to cross that bridge. But hey, at least you're giving it more thought than nothing at all. Shows real growth I think."
"Colossus is a cool dude. One of the few people I doubt I'd ever have to use my powers on to help him stabilize. He seems sturdy as it is." She looked around to see everyone was going back to their normal routines now that Magneto had left with the group.
"So what you got planned for the day? The nurse probably wants me to report back to her office. More 'training' or whatever we were doing before. Did you need to go back to Colossus, or was your assignment done? ..i wonder if Johns still has to report that full report." She laughed.
From Ishbel knew, she was free for the rest of the day. Anything she wanted to do, she was free to explore or entertain herself with. (OOC: Let me know if you need help finding something to do)
---
Sechs:
"Ideal, but not practical in the ways Magneto wants to accomplish that wish."
"It will not be easy to accomplish, but with a single ruler who wishes the best for his people, it can be done. What humans failed to accomplish all these y years, we as mutants will make it a reality."
"I believe the word for that is a dictatorship. Humans have already tried that too." Robbie spoke up.
"Human dictators have shown to be nothing but corrupt. They hate even their own. We as mutants, who have seen the cruelty of humans can be better. The humans who conditioned us to be pushed this far will see that we can live better than they have attempted to for all these centuries. In time, children. You will see my vision for the future."
As the jet came closer to Magneto's home base, Magneto made a call to someone. "Pietro, we are arriving shortly in a jet. Get your sister and help welcome our guests. We have obtained the siblings' belongings for them." He called.
"Before we land on my home island, do you have any questions for me?"
"How about, 'what are we expecting when we get there?'" Kurt asked somewhat harshly.
"Nothing but a friendly welcome from my children, dear Nightcrawler. All mutants are welcome to my home. You are not our enemies, unless you make yourselves out to be."
"And exactly what does that mean?"
"It means we will defend ourselves should you, or anyone, try to attack us." Magneto confidently nodded.

"Yeah, it sucks that it went that way, but the past is the past" Ishbel shrugged, leaving the whole Melissa thing aside, it was out of her hands after all. "Thank you" she just said when Sam mentioned growth, blushing just a hint, soon changing topics. "Colossus is cool, but he shared with me that it's... a work in progress, so never say never on those powers of yours" she shared.
"So... no plans" Ishbel admitted after joining in Sam's laughter with the whole Johns issue. "I could go pester my brother, still don't know who he has a crush on, or who is he seeing if anyone... as long as he's as happy as possible here I'm cool" she considered. "But I could go to the nurse with you, if I can be of any help I mean" she blurted. Ishbel wanted to hang with Sam, not only because she liked her but also to see... well, how far that could go, to help clear and shape those feelings into something more understandable.
"I'm sure I can find something else to do if I'm a bother though" Ishbel promptly added, her hair flickering a bit, not wanting to bother Sam if she didn't want her around.

SECHS
Sechs was mostly trying to understand what Magneto had in mind, he had learn a lot since leaving Germany and somehow, this felt a lot bigger then the street gang issues he had before.
-A single ruler? Who wish the best for his people...-
He ponder for a moment. How flawed and utopic was this? For that to work, it would mean that all mutants would fall into acceptance of a single ruling entity.
-Last question before we go...who might that hypothetical ruler be? And what happens if that ruler dies or cannot rule anymore?-
He said. Because, you can't just improvise trying to rule over an entire race of super powered beings. His questions were mostly curiosity as his wits would not let him just rest the case. Hopefully his companions would not take offense to it. His tentacles were slowly drifting on each side of his head, making slow motion as he was looking at Magneto directly, just direct and honest questions. ------------------------------------------------------ social skills 2, street wise 4 in Int to discuss deep philosophical matters with Magneto.

Ishbel"Well luckily it's not our problem now. For now, anyways." Sam shrugged. "oh. Good to know. Glad to know that even someone as cheerful as him can still have some problems. Makes him less...I don't know, holy than all of us." She laughed. "Is your brother like, a playboy or something? Just got here not too long ago and is already seeing someone? I mean he's cute, but it's really quick. Doesn't really match the goofy guy I met when we first recruited you." She laughed. "As to coming to the nurse's office, I wouldn't mind if you came. The nurse on the other hand, might. She takes the whole 'hypocritic oath' thing seriously, and something something patient/doctor confidentiality? ..I think she's trying to convert me to a nurse. Which is kinda fine? I'm not really big on the front lines-type on a team or anything. I'm more...support?" She questioned. "Not all of us can be front-liners like you." She pat Ishbel on the shoulder. "So yeah you can come by the nurse with me if you want. Don't get offended if she kicks ya out, though." She offered. Ishbel was given the option to try her luck with the nurse and Sam if she wished to. Otherwise, her brother was in the garage as always, and Colossus was always around if need be. Many potentials on this somewhat free day that they were given. --- Sechs"Indeed. One who would do anything FOR his people.""Sounds good and all, but that could go both ways. History has a lot to say about people with that mindset. Ever hear of Hitler and-" Robbie spoke up, but was quickly hushed by Kurt when he attempted to bring up the former Nazi leader as a point. Even Kurt held his head down to the acknowledgement that Magneto had understood, perhaps better than anyone, human dictatorship and how it never turned out well for anyone. Magneto simply stared at Robbie and Kurt as they stood in their silence, then looked away to the opening Jet door, leading them to the outside of Magneto's home. "A fair question, my young friend. The one to rule should be the one who is willing to give up everything for his people. A ruler can die, but an idea cannot, if the ones who believe it continue to carry it on. That, is what mutants will carry forward once we escape the tyranny of human hatred." With that, Magneto leaves the jet to step outside. The rest step outside to join him. "Jake." Kurt turns to Jake before exiting the jet. "Stay here and guard the jet. I don't fully trust Magneto and his mutants, so if they try anything, text us to let us know something is going on." He nodded before going outside. "Father." A silver-haired young man walked towards his father with a young lady with red hair. "Take these things to the siblings, Pietro. You too, Wanda." Magneto stated using his magnetism to bring the items out of the jet and put them into the hands Pietro and Wanda. "Children of the X-men, father?" The young lady known as Wanda asked, looking at the group of X-men. "Future allies. Or at least, you should see them as such."Kurt scoffed at the idea, but Robbie nodded to Wanda in greeting. "Children of Xavier, welcome to my home. A small island tucked into the world that will be known as the tiny area our revolution began. Please, feel free to make yourselves at home.""We are here to verify the siblings are safe and not forced to be here, nothing more.""Tch. Forced? We couldn't get rid of 'em even if we wanted to.""Pietro!" Magneto scolded. "They've been nothing but a bother since getting here. Always fighting and crying, especially the girl.""We understand your concerns. If you'd like, we can take you to them." Wanda offered. "If you could, thank you. Robbie, Sechs, you may join or stick around. Do what you wish, I just wish to verify the siblings are safe.""I'll go with you, Kurt. Sechs, you staying behind or coming with?"Wanda started leading the group towards the island with her brother Pietro, while Magneto stayed behind looking out into the sea. Sechs was free to follow the group or stay behind with the Jet and Mangeto. --- Serita Inside a cave deep of Magneto's island was a group of mutants hanging around a small area. They were instructed to stay inside and "behave" for the time being. "Ugh. Stuck in a cave again. Nothing like just sitting around waiting for a job.." A large, very large and fat mutant bellowed. "Could be worse. We could be chasing ANOTHER hairy, crazy guy with sharp claws like the last one. A hunchbacked mutant in ragged clothes spoke up in protest. "Rather be doing that than sitting here bored.""No way, man. Almost lost an arm with that psycho..." The mutant known as Toad bounced around until he reached where Serita was sitting. "And then Mystique has the awesome pleasure of finding Serita here. Lucky her, gets the easy job..""Eh, she had to hunt, jump and dodge cartels to get to Serita. Not really any better than what we did. Shit, should probably have just sent me to have gotten her. Why didn't they send me?" Blob thought about it. "Prolly because of your size, big guy." Another mutant joined in, patting Blob on the back. This mutant being a thinner, tall, red haired young man rocking an Australian accent. "Ya need grace to get through the streets of the cartels. Something you may not have. No offense." "Eh, you're probably right. No offense taken. But hey, Serita is definitely a lot better than the psycho we had to chase down before..""You're right about that. Even though she's still new, she must love this place compared to where she came from. What say you, love? You enjoying your time with the brotherhood so far? We ain't get much a chance to talk yet." The mutant Pyro approached her. This was definitely a rag-tag type of team here consisting of different mutants with different powers. Summoning fire, bouncing around, being fat and tough to name the ones in front of her. Super speed for Pietro, shape shifting for Mystique, and Serita couldn't really wrap her head around whatever the heck Wanda does. Of course there was the siblings, also said to be newer to the group; Melissa and Manuel. Whereas Manuel was more calm and cool, Melissa was a hot head. One that would most certainly bump heads with anyone she got close to if she didn't watch her temper. Then there were those she hadn't met yet, other members said to have gone on other missions to help the cause. === (OOC: Welcome to the game, leska! Feel free to create your own opinion of the Brotherhood so far. You've been here for about 3 days since you came with Mistique, and the Brotherhood is the Brotherhood. Blob is loud and fat, but tries to be nice. Toad is a creepy guy who also tries to be nice. Pyro is flirtatious and impulsive. Pietro is quiet and keeps to himself but seems very cocky. Wanda is caring, almost motherly. The others you haven't really spoken to or interacted with. Feel free to post your character as well)

Ishbel nodded as Sam laughed to her words about Colossus showing some rough sides, enjoying making her laugh, and agreeing with her. "A playboy? Hell no!" she winced. "He's a goof as you said!" Ishbel paused. "But... he has a big heart, I know that well. He may have no game whatsoever, spent most of the time working with our dad, but he's a good man and I guess it shows" she shrugged, it was weird for her to talk about what kind of attractive qualities her brother had.
"I can at least walk with you there" Ishbel decided, a bit of a spark to her fiery hair. "If she kicks me out, she kicks me out. She's the boss and I respect that" she nodded, things had been fine when she injured her hand, the nurse was alright in her books. "I guess that no matter what our characters are, our powers will end up determining what we can and can't do. I still think you could do a fantastic job on crowd control on a dangerous situation, you did it with me..." she sighed. "But yeah, maybe that way you'll be away from danger and I won't fear losing my fantastic roomie" she smiled, feeling a bit bolder.
Maybe impatient.
"So..." Ishbel's hair flickered a bit, betraying some nervousness on the way to the infirmary. "You have been here for longer than us of course..." she wasn't sure about how to broach the topic. "You said my brother is cute, and I wondered if you were seeing someone..." Ishbel stopped before the infirmary, though it was right there.
"Do you think I'm cute?" Ishbel outright asked, her face red, the flames of her hair waving a bit faster.

Serita sat there as she listened to the others of the brotherhood talk about her. She was still reserved around them despite the fact they saved her, well, more specifically, Mystique. That blue skinned angel was the reason she was in a better place than where she started. Serita looked off at the cold metal wall; gun smoke was thick in the air as Serita was hiding behind boxes of ammo. Her breathing was heavy as she was trying to find a way out of the cave the cartel occupied. "Buscala la perra! Ella no puede escapar!" (Find the bitch! She can't escape) yelled one of the cartel soldiers as he directed the others around to fan out and find her. Serita's knuckles where white as she tightened her grip on her weapon, a slightly glowing knife made of a esoteric energy; swirling with shimmering colors of pink and lavender. Her eyes watched in terror as the shadows on the wall began to move closer to her position. What was she gonna do? Could she get to them before they got to her? Will she die like Lucinda? The thoughts shouted at each other in her head as a shadow got closer to her. Serita closed her eyes, tears running down her cheeks until the sound of gunfire echoed around her in a symphony of destruction and raining of metal shells. As soon as it began, it was over like a bad dream.
Serita looked around as the only sound now was a clicking of heels on the stone floor. Looking up from her hiding position, her eyes met with the gaze of a woman in tactical gear. Skin blue as the sky and hair as red as blood. Her knife quickly vanished as Serita covered her eyes from the woman's gaze out of fear. The blue woman reminded her of story she heard from one of the trafficked women in the herd, Carmen, a Dominican woman who helped take care of the children in the herd. She would tell them stories of her birthplace, one of which was La Ciguapa, blue skinned and red haired demon women who lived up in the mountains. They would take the souls of those they met with a gaze. Serita's mind quickly went into fight or flight as she covered her eyes and prayed she'd be left alone. Thinking about it now, Serita couldn't help but lightly smile. Mystique wasn't a Ciguapa... right? Her mind snapped back reality as one of the other mutants asked her a question.
"This place is... como se dice?" she paused trying to find the right word for, "a sanctuary" she continued. Thinking about the past three days here and everything that's has changed, Serita felt this place was a paradise. A bed that wasn't the ground, food that wasn't mixed with spit and piss from the soldiers, clean water, and not being assaulted by anyone while she was here. Serita couldn't help but feel as though god finally gave her a chance and she wasn't going to waste it. "I'm glad that this sanctuary is here" she continued, "Time has been good." "I am grateful" Serita says to all of them in the room as she sits on a chair; pulling her knees up to her chest and hugging them, looking at the group before her.

SECHS
Sechs was curious about Magneto's vision of the world, of his plan about bringing peace to mutants, of the promise of the persecution been stopped. But again, would it really be different? Or would an even greater war be unleashed once humans were gone? What about those who actually treated mutant with kindness even if they were humans like his old leader? Would it be just one giant purge?
So many questions, but for now, they were here to make sure the siblings were safe, so this would have to wait.
- I just have...so many questions...-
He said, his gaze turning toward Magneto for a moment, then shifting back to his team.
-...but thats not what we are here for, I'm coming with you guys...-
He said, ready to follow Pietro and Wanda, his tentacles gently shifting with his steps and nodding towards them.

Ishbel
"Must have definitely showed if he picked someone up already, sheesh. I'm surprised you're not being the protective sister and trying to sniff out who exactly it is. I'd hate to be her your radar as an enemy, aha."
"Cool beans. Let's go, then." She said leading the way.
"Uhh...crowd control would be extremely dangerous. Since I take in the emotion I project, if I hit a crowd with, say, something like 'calm,' I'd get so calm I'd definitely pass out after a few minutes. She said. Ishbel was instantly reminded of the first time they had met, Sam had almost put herself in a coma just trying to calm Ishbel down. "Would be cool if I didn't absorb the emotions. Still that'll go away eventually." She pondered out loud.
That's the plan. Since I can't kick butt like you, I'll stay back for sure. Right now I'm currently learning from the nurse how to take pain away, so if you're ever hurt in the battlefield, I can at least make you FEEL like you've been healed, heh."
"Oh. You mean..here? Seeing someone here like dating? Wait, and you, cute? Umm.." She pondered, thrown off by the question. She, as always though, bounced back quickly. "You're totally cute!" she said slapping her hand on Ishbel's shoulder, patting it a few times before resting her hand on her shoulder, a little nervous herself. It was clear Sam was thrown off by the quesetion. "You're cute like a..cousin or something. But you're definitely cute." She winked, going to open the door to the nurse's room.
Cousin? ..cousin.. Something about that statement sat wrong with Ishbel. It was kinda ugly. Or just plain weird. Even so, Ishbel was a now a cute cousin..
"Welcome back Sam. ..And..?" The nurse said as Sam pushed the door open
"This is my bud Ishbel. She was done with her assignment early and wanted to know if she could watch us work."
"Ishbel. MacGregor, of course. Yes. By all means come on in."
"Well look at that, I thought you might've kicked her out like you did Johns earlier."
"Johns has a paper due and wasn't finished with it. I'll assume Ishbel is finished with her assignment with Colossus today?" She looked over at Ishbel. "If that is the case, then she is free to stay. I believe everyone deserves mental health help. As the school's psychiatrist, I feel that to be the case anyways."
"Wait, I thought you were the nurse.."
"While I am medically trained, no, I deal mostly with mental restoration through means of counselling."
"..Makes sense for a power like mine, I guess. I'm sorry for assuming. Well uh, Ishbel, you sure you wanna hang out for this? We're just practicing my powers 'n such." Sam asked.
===
Serita
As Serita was going through her mind of the past events, she was brought back to the current when she was approached by her new team.
"Coe moe say what..?" Toad whispered.
"I think it's Mexican for a...pizza?"
"Piece of what..?
"Well it sure if for someone like you." Pyro piped up.
"W-well we're glad you're enjoying it here. At least someone has a positive outlook on things."
"So..is there pizza, or..?"
"You fat piece of-...Gah. Serita. We're glad you can be part of the team."
"And she will continue being a great part of the team." Mystique said coming out of a shadowed area, likely her quarters to meet everyone. "Just hanging out, boys?" She asked.
"Mystique, when did you get back?"
"I just got done with business a few hours ago, have been resting in my room."
"Well then you missed the memo. Magneto wants us to hang out here because some Xmens are coming to drop some stuff off apparently. Wants us to behave all civil-like for em."
"That so..?" Mystique looked over to Serita. "Ever heard of them, Serita? The X-men?" She asked. "Group of mutants who oppose our ideals. They believe humans and mutants can work together to create a better world."
"Psh. As if. Humans just want us all dead. They want themselves dead too."
"hmm....Serita...I know you just got here a few days ago, but what would you say to a mission? By all means, you are free to say no, but..." She trailed off with a smile on her face. "It would be a WHOLE lot comfortable than staying in this cave.." She offered. "What do you think? Up for an easy job?" She asked her.
===
Sechs
"Thank you, Sechs." Kurt thanked Sechs as he agreed to go with them. Pietro and Wanda lead the way.
"So what are we to expect when we get to your home, then?"
"Dude, we live in a cave with a couple of other mutants. You don't have much to worry about. Not everyone can live all fancy like you guys do."
"Pietro.." Wanda tries to pull the leash on her brother.
"Didn't mean to offend, was just curious is all."
"In any case. The siblings, we just need to speak with them, and then we can leave. If you would allow me to do the talking, I think that would be best."
"That is understandable. We have nothing to hide, so that is perfectly fine."
"Just don't go snooping around too much. It can be easy to get lost on the island. And I'll be damned if I have to run around the entire thing looking for you."
Pietro was clearly annoyed at the Xmen being here while Wanda was trying to be civil.
"So, quiet guy in the back." Pietro directed his attention to Sechs. "You look a little conflicted about all of this. Heard you talking to my pops. You have a lot to ask, which is good. You don't just follow the crowd like some other sheep I know." He said implying Kurt and Robbie. "Anything you wanna know, we can help ya with."
"In a more mannered way, we can say we disagree with your professor's ideals, but can respect them. We just happen to have a different outlook on how things should go."
"And it sounds like you are okay with your father's methods of how to accomplish that goal. For this, we have little to talk about."
"What bugs you so much? Taking things by force? Look around you, man. We have to live on an island or they'd kill us. I don't see any other option available to us."
"Both sides have decent points. But it's our choice to make what we want to do." Robbie said trying to be the force of reason.
"Well, you'll die trying to get what you're trying to accomplish. It's kill or be killed, and I wanna live. Don't YOU want to live, Sechs?" Pietro asked.

"Nah, he's the protective one, big brother and all" Ishbel laughed at the idea of being rivals with her brother's partner. "And after all that happened because of me, he deserves whatever happiness he can get" she nodded, pensive.
She was feeling bold, well, bolder than usual and said something that maybe was too soon to be voiced. Hoping for the best, she braced for Sam's reaction.
The flames in her hair sparkled, then dimmed down. Cute. Sam found her cute. But like a cousin. What the hell did that mean? Before she could even get further into what did all of that mean, or perhaps solve a misunderstanding or anything else, they were into the nurse's room already.
"Yes, I'm finished" she said with certainty. Ishbel wasn't sure about the mental health help thing, but she was still processing Sam's strange reaction. Was Sam talking like Ishbel was family as some kind of awkward defense mechanism? Or was she placed in some kind of not-romantic friend zone? Ishbel just wanted to give her feelings for Sam a chance, and to see if there was something there, but the strange reaction made her feel a bit lost.
"I can hang, maybe I can... be of use?" Ishbel was slowly getting back to her usual pace, but most of her thoughts were occupied by what had just happened.

SECHS
As they went into the cave, Sechs eyes trailed around, observing his surrounding, memorizing every nook and crannies, force of habits die hard after all. He kept quiet for a while, until the one named Pietro spoke to him, turning his gaze upon the silver haired mutant, his answer was pretty much straightforward.
-Nobody wants to die for a lost cause...and I'm not above the desire to live...-
He said. He was just being honest.
-And this whole thing about mutants and humans living together...it could be all solved if people could just stop trying to butcher each other for stupid reasons...but I doubt thats gonna happen soon. Fear is an inherent and very strong feeling and it is what has kept mankind and many other civilisations afloat for so long...Fear means danger, danger means risk of death, therefore it must be killed before it can kill me...-
He felt somewhat irritated, but took a deep breath, his tentacles, which had been fretting slightly, went back to rest on his shoulders.
-Rarely does morality take precedence over the desire to survive, to see another day...only very rare people are selfless enough to sacrifice themselves to protect strangers...-
He gaze upon the group for a moment, realising he spoke for a while and probably lost them in his rambling.
-Sorry about that...I just know one thing for sure...this world needs to change...and I need to find the answers as to how it will...and where I stand in it...-
He shrugged for a moment, then went back to being quiet, waiting for the group to get back to their destination.

Serita looked at the others who seemed to be befuddled by how she spoke. Honestly, it made her feel a little silly but she couldn't help it. Her expression became a soft smile as Pyro said they were glad she was part of the team. It was nice. Though, a voice broke through the group, she turned to look and saw Mystique entering the room. Serita looked at the blue skinned woman and then back at the others, it would seem she was highly respect as her presence command attention from the others upon sight. Serita looked at her and nodded silently. The young mutant stayed quiet as the spoke among themselves and some company that was coming her. There were more like them out there? Why weren't they here then? Serita pondered this before her attention was grabbed by Mystique once again. She shook her head, " No" she replied; Mystique explained who they were, a team opposite of what the Brotherhood stood for. Her brow furrowed, "Y por que-" she stopped herself, trying to find the right words that others could understand. " Why? Humans are monsters." Her words were sharp and aggressive to the ear. Serita was a child of trafficking and knew only the darker side of what humans were capable of, especially the ones she dealt with within the cartel. "Psh. As if. Humans just want us all dead. They want themselves dead too."
Serita looked at Blob and nodded in agreement. Looking towards Mystique she listened asked if she was up for a mission. " What do you need?" she asked curiously but ready to fulfill the task assigned, no matter the request, she was going to repay the generosity they have given her since she arrived.

Ishbel
"Well what a great little sister thing to say. I guess I'll hope for his happiness too. Even though he is a total goof."
Ishbel had confirmed that she was done with her tasks for today, and that she was willing to hang out if she was allowed to. However, the thoughts from before were still on her mind.
"Well that's fine. You being here may prove to be useful in ways." She said going towards the computer to type some things in. "Just need to see who and what I am fulling interacting with..." She said eyeing the computer and then Ishbel. "Shouldn't be an issue. Nothing here wrong with your file, or anything I should be concerned with."
"Hey, that's pretty good for your file, then. Mine says I'm a raging lunatic who tortures people with emotions." Sam laughed Ishbel's way.
"..Right. Nothing of the sort. In any case, I see Ishbel is wearing her device to help keep her emotions in check. I do wonder, though. What would happen if we were to take the device off, Ishbel? Would you mind taking it off for a moment for me? You'll be safe, I promise."
"Uh, maybe not the best idea, Doc. We're not really sure of the full effects it could have if we tried. And if we were trying it, shouldn't we try it in, like, NOT a public space?"
"It's fine. We'll still have the device here, and you're also here should we need to help calm her down. However, I don't think that'd be an issue. I doubt Ishbel would just EXPLODE out of nowhere. It may be a gradual build up. Or, it's possible she will just explode. But I see the comment section of her file also questions it, and I'd be the perfect one to help monitor it. Besides, if ever she lot her device, wouldn't we like to know how to best deal with it? What do you think, Ishbel?
"I guess I can't argue with the doc's logic. But it's up to Ishbel. Would you even feel comfortable doing something like that?" Sam asked.

Sechs
"My man. Sechs gets it."
"It would seem the Xmen are that rare breed of people, then."
"Tch, yeah. Sacrifice yourselves to protect those who want to kill you. Who wants that?"
"Clearly the Xmen. But we're here to help mankind and mutants together. We don't have to sacrifice ourselves if we show them who we are and how we can work WITH them."
"It will be a difficult journey, Sechs. I know this from experience. But just know we will get there. The professor will help to create the bridge that will bring mutants and humans together.
"And when that bridge burns down, the Brotherhood will be there to help ALL mutants to a better future."
"Are we there yet?" Robbie interrupted a bit annoyed.
"We have arrived at the entrance, yes." Wanda says showing an entrance to a cave-like opening.
"And the twins are inside there?"
"They are. We can bring them outside here if you'd like."
"Or you can stop asking a million questions and just follow us inside our humble home. ..Except you, Sechs. You can ask all the questions you want. You're the only one here in this group making any sense." Pietro nodded to Sechs.

Serita
Serita was asked if she knew the Xmen, and heard what they stood for. It sounded foreign to her ears. Sounded like a stupid idea, and she had to agree with her teammates on how they felt about them. However, Mystique seemed to have a mission out of nowhere for Serita.
Mystique smiled, a small chuckle escaped her. "A place like this really isn't for you, Serita. You just escaped a dangerous hellhole, and now we're asking you to live in a cave. This really isn't the best place for you currently."
"Hey! What the hell you trying to say?"
"Y-yeah, Mystique? She was just complimenting the place before you even came."
"She called it her pizza, and it was beautiful! She loves it here!"
"What are you planning here, Mystique?"
"I'm thinking our friend Serita would make an excellent recruiter. All while living oh so comfortably in a mansion. We may have our methods of finding mutants, but there's no denying the Xmen's methods are leagues beyond our own." Mystique smiled to Serita.
"Y-you want her to go with the Xmen?!" Pyro exclaimed shocked.
"The hell would she do that for? She LITERALLY just called them idiots for their beliefs."
"One, she'd be able to do some light training for her powers which helps her out. Two, she'd be able to be a mole on the inside in case we ever needed intel on their next move. And three, she could easily help persuade newer students that their way does not work. If results will happen, it has to happen through force. Humans will need to learn that we are superior to them, and they will have to learn it the hard way. With that said, Serita can help the Brotherhood by being a recruiter while with the Xmen."
"So like, be a spy and a recruiter for us?"
"Magneto contacted me on the way here. Says their resolve is weak at the mansion. Even a student brought here to the island is questioning things. If they're so easily moldable, it'd be to our benefit to have someone assisting us from the enemy lines."
"I-I guess that makes sense. But why not any of us? We've been here longer."
"Because your faces are plastered all over the news. You're known for your high beliefs. Serita here is new and innocent. Not yet 'tainted' by the Brotherhood. All we would need to do is ask the Xmen to take Serita to receive medical treatment, or something along those lines. And then she'd ask to stay to 'help their cause.' Mystique turns back to Serita. "So. How does staying in a mansion with the finest things being handed to you sound, Serita? All we'd need you to do is be yourself. Tell them your story, and why their plans won't work. Humans are terrible, and will kill us all if given the opportunity. You just need to help remind them of that. Sounds easy enough, doesn't it?" She asked.

"No way!" Ishbel laughed at Sam's joke, though it was maybe too self deprecating and things were already weird enough.
What followed was weird and slightly uncomfortable, as it turned out she had sort of volunteer to be a lab rat. She had been wearing Hank's device for weeks already, to the point that sometimes she even forgot she was wearing it despite its weight and bulk. The days of flaming accidents and spending most of the day in a pill induced daze felt so far away and yet...
"I don't know about comfort, but you know me, I'm no chicken" Ishbel joked. "If it helps..." she deactivated, unclasped and left the device on a table nearby. Ishbel's flaming hair of course started to swell and flicker, waving around like a live bonfire, but so far it was quite stable. "I think it's okay for now?" she wondered, but of course all her issues were still there. Minding her control made Ishbel remember the things she had to avoid thinking about to keep herself in check, so of course it all came at once.
Her father. The thugs. The lake...
Ishbel slowed her breathing, it was fine, she was working on it, she was getting better and she was safe. Instinctively she looked to Sam for support.
Sam.
Oh no. Had she rejected her advances in a weird way? That was fine, right? It could happen and Ishbel herself was a bit of a mess so it was no wonder that Sam wouldn't want to- after all maybe she didn't swing that way and-
Ishbel's flaming hair started to creep up. "I got it, I got it, I got it..." she raised her hands and looked away from Sam and straight into the floor. She knew that worrying about her powers only fed them...

The young mutant sat there and looked at Mystique and for a moment she felt like a small kid again. Listening to how she was talking with the others it felt like she was once again being sold off; she looked at the floor. But as the plan was explained more, Serita was able to shake off that feeling and begin to comprehend that there was a reason she was going to be sent on this mission. As Pyro wondered if Serita would be a spy for the Brotherhood, the mutant girl pondered for a moment.. She was a new mutant who could influence the others in the mansion where the human lovers were at. They just needed a push in the right direction was all. Serita looked up at Mystique with a smile, "I can do that. We need to bring other mutants to our side, the right side of this battle" she said, her voice strong with her conviction to the plan. "But how are we going to get me in there?" she questioned, thinking for a moment before looking at the others, "Do you know of a good way?"
This was a new thing for Serita but if it was what her rescuers asked of her, she would oblige and help them in their cause without hesitation. Perhaps it was because she saw she owed them a debt that could never be repaid, or maybe because she couldn't believe that there were people like here willing to help humans. Either way, Serita was going to be the change that Mystique needed her to be. All she would have to do is spread her story to the younger mutants and show them that their way of thinking could never work in this world. A world that humans simply turn against each other for inconsequential things. Recalling a time when she was first brought to the cartel, two cartel members had gotten into a conflict simply over shoes once and it ended in blood shed. It was time for them to be wiped out for good. "Once they heard my story, Im sure more would gladly come and join our cause here."
