Bane turned toward the Riddler. "Can you alter the feed from the security cameras to keep them focused on the prison library? The Joker, and I can head to the library and issue a few taunts to the Batman, maybe rough up a few of the scum that weren't smart enough to get out while they could. Basically give him incentive to head there first. We set that footage to play on a looped circuit. When he arrives at the library he will find it empty. We then lock him in there and taunt him over the PA system, while we set up our other traps and agendas, maybe send a few cronies in there to give him try and tire him out some.
As far as staging anything on the outside, it depends on if and how many resources we have available outside the prison. You really want to get under his skin...and piss him off? We kidnap Bruce Wayne's Butler Alfred. He tends to take attacks against Wayne personally. Maybe it's because Wayne is one of his most staunchest allies."
Bane knew the real reason why it would infuriate Batman, but he was not yet ready to reveal the Dark Knight's true identity. As it was, it wouldn't take much for them to figure it out on their own with what he had just told them.
"We could also try and capture Commissioner Gordon, maybe torture him some and let Batman listen to the screams over the speakers, while he hunts us."

"Zsaz? Is that you. So this is where you have holed yourself up in... Fascinating." Hatter said, after hearing the man call out, though he had no time nor desire to approach him face to face, no he had to busy himself getting everything in place.
He would utilize his mind control technology to subtle gain control of the inmates and guards... The guards.
Now there was a thought. He could try and capture some of the staff and guards, implant chips beneath their skin, and release them... or better yet, let them be 'rescued'. Create a series of trojan horses that he could subtle control and manipulate... and through them, guide the Bat through or into the traps his compatriots prepared.
Before the night wwas through, he would orchestrate the final defeat of either the Joker, or the Batman.

"Who else were you expecting?" Zasaz asked as he watched the Hatter carefully. He was a little man, but he was warped and confused, he could be dangerous.
"The Bat is on the way? Are you going to greet him in some spectacular way?"

“We could also try and capture Commissioner Gordon, maybe torture him some and let Batman listen to the screams over the speakers, while he hunts us.”
As soon as Bane finished, The Bat himself appeared in the doorway to the administration office. Dropping Mr. Freeze he looked at the assembled, and then at the Clown Prince himself. Speaking in his normal gruff voice Bat Man addressed the criminals.
[glow=gray,5,000]“Joker! I should have known.”[/color] [/glow]
With that he reached into his utility belt, and withdrew some contents.
[glow=gray,5,000]“All right everyone! Time to go back to your cells. Now! Before we have a scene.”[/color] [/glow]

The Riddler almost did a double-take from the security feed on the monitors to the Dark Knight that now stood in the doorway. He knew Batman had been making quick progress through the asylum's lesser-lights... but this sudden appearance was verging on the ridiculous! The Riddler wondered how Batman could have reached the office so fast, and exactly what he planned to do now that he was here? After all, Bruce's track record against Bane was less-than-stellar... and now, he was supposed to handle not only the man that broke his back, but also a half-dozen or so of his other nemeses all on his own? Batman was good, but he wasn't THAT good. The Riddler had always respected Batman's ability to use his intellect rather than his fists, and rely on stealth, psychology and misdirection even more than his prodigious martial-arts techniques. But apparently, just wandering into a room full of villains and demanding that they return to their cells was the best that Batman could come-up with on such short-notice...
"Uh... sure, o-kay. I surrender..."
He raised a quizzical eyebrow at the Caped Crusader, while raising his arms. But the Riddler surmised that Batman's attention would most likely be on Bane or Poison Ivy rather than himself. Heck, his nemesis had only bothered to actually name-check the Joker, of all people... which understandably made poor Edward feel slighted. Still sitting in his chair, the Riddler tapped the monitor screen with the end of his question-mark cane.
"But could I possibly have just one moment of your time, Batman, before this all descends into fisticuffs... which as you know, have NEVER been my forte. If you'll just take a quick peek over at the screen, I think you'll find that your attention is urgently required elsewhere in this institution..."
The Riddler pointed to the security feed from the infirmary, which Zsasz had transformed into his own personal house of horrors. Of most importance was the fact that the deranged serial killer had taken numerous hostages, who's lives were literally hanging in the balance. Surely Batman could not leave their fates in the hands of a madman like Mister Zsasz... even if it meant abandoning any attempt to apprehend the other villains for the time being?
"Question: What motivation does Zsasz need to kill every single person in that room? Answer: None at all. I'm surprised they've even lasted this long, and can only assume that he's waiting for you to join his twisted little party. But I imagine his patience is only going to last so long... and sooner rather than later, he'll cut his losses. Or somebody's throat. Y'know, whichever..."
============================================== Health 3/3. Energy 14/14.
Social Skills 4: *Surrender... but make it very clear to Batman that Zsasz has a room full of hostages that he's probably going to kill while Bruce wastes time trying to take down a whole bunch of powerful foes like Bane, Poison Ivy, and the rest.
Close Combat 6 (including Cane +3 weapon modifier): *Get ready to defend himself, in case things get crazy; into Defense.
Defense 6 (Close Combat). Health 3/3. Energy 7/14.

Like lightning Bat Man leapt onto the table, amid his enemies, and looked at the screen half heartedly; until he saw Zsasz’s hostages. His eyes visibly narrowed into a scowl of anger. Only the most vigilant and insightful could see what he did soon after, as his eyes quickly darted from screen to screen, to asses the other monitors. After briefly taking it in, he turned his attention to the assembled criminals once again.
[glow=gray,5,000]“I’ll be back! And when I return… you had all better be in your cells.”[/color] [/glow]
Before he left, he tossed the contents he withdrew from his belt onto the table. It was a canister that started to smoke. Within a matter of seconds the room would be cleared, or the inhabitants would be unconscious.
[glow=gray,5,000]“Play nicely with each other… while I’m away!”[/color] [/glow]
With that the Man-Bat quickly fluttered away, closing the door behind him. Although in a predicament, it could have been far worse. Riddler’s gamble was well worth it. The Riddler had known Bat Man for many years now. Appealing to his weakness always worked. The man would never kill. It was his one absolute, his one rule. It’s what made him different then those he rounded up. Not only did Bat Man refuse to kill… but he always did everything he could to ensure that he stopped others from killing as well.
[You all have 3 rounds to make it out of the room or face unconsciousness.]

"Indeed. I intend to make use of those we have imprisoned... Fortunately, I have been very succesful in my import job here. I should have enough of my little chips, with some quick adjustments and assembly, to put half the staff under my control...
hmm... Of course. There is still the rest of the inmates... And staff.... But oh well. Perhaps our little deck of cards will be enough to give the Bat and the Joker the night of their lifes... The Batman would not wish to harm innocent lives and the Joker... well... Maybe I can put a monkey wrench in his little schemes... And maybe finally end him."

Ivy left the room quickly, she grew a small plant inside the lock, lining up the pins and then she turned it, causing it to unlock. With the bat distracted, she would make her own plans. They were as useless as she thought they were. At least Zsasz had proved to be of some use. She made her way quickly to the lowest levels of Arkham, finding a secluded spot with earth on five sides for her to work with.
3 stones into Mastery of plants to create a key.
OOC: You did not state in your post that he locked the door, just that he closed it. Also how does he expect us to get back to our cells with the door locked? Not that any of us are going to do it anyway... but just a thought.

Joker pranced to the door, muttering as if to himself...
"Kidnap Wayne's Butler. Torture Jim Gordon. I created all these gags, but do I get credit, even once? Its like I keep tellin' em, crime is easy, comedy is hard!" He belted out a peel of laughter while checking the lock on the door.

The Riddler allowed himself a satisfied smile, when he saw Batman exit the room in suitablty dramatic fashion. Although he was confident that, with the odds stacked against him, a physical confrontation against this particular batch of Gotham's worst probably would not have gone in the Dark Knight's favour... it would hardly have been the kind of battle of wits that Edward was hoping for. At least now he would have a chance to engage his nemesis in an intellectual duel, somewhere down the line... assuming that he could leave this now-locked room before the Batman's parting shot gassed them all into unconsciousness.
"Huh," he muttered to himself, while producing a small question-mark monogrammed handkerchief to help protect against the smoke, "Trying to gas us all, when I already graciously surrendered? That hardly seems very sporting..."
Determining to exact some well-deserved vengeance against Batman for this perceived indignity, the Riddler nevertheless turned his attention to thoughts of escape. He saw Joker and Ivy fumbling with the locked door, but there was a much easier solution to this particular problem. The Riddler briefly lowered his handkerchief, as he approached the massive Bane.
"Riddle me this, Mister Bane... what is the shortest distance between two points? Like, oh, let's say... this room... and freedom? Answer: a straight line. Regardless of whether any walls or other impediments are blocking our path."

Bane watch the Batman, leaning against the wall as if he could care less that the only man who had ever proved his equal had just entered the room. In truth it was probably true.
"Took you long enough Batsy," Bane greeted his old adversary. "Guess that back of yours is getting a bit worn out with all this crime fighting business. You know, I've been studying to become a chiropractor. Maybe I can practice on you for a bit eh? No?" He shrugged. "Oh well, maybe later. Looks like needs someone to go slap his wrist and tell him to play nice with others. We'll try not to go wondering off while your gone, but do hurry, you know how quickly we get bored."
He waved at Bruce as he hurried out and glanced at the smoke coming from the cannister. "Time to go."
Bane glared at the Riddler from behind his mask. "You like riddles? Here's one for you." Bane ran his hands along the wall feeling for what he hoped was a weak spot. As strong and fearless as he was, he wasn't the dunce that everyone thought he was. He was much more than muscle and brawn. "If the shortest distance between two places is a straight line, then why to roads have twists and turns?"
Moving to his scrawny partner in crime he lifted him up by his lapels. Carrying him to the back of the room he turned toward the front wall. "You ready Enigma?"
Just when it looked like Bane might actually used Riddler as a battering ram, he set the man gently down, before charging full speed at the wall. Lowering his shoulder he tired to ram his way through into the hallway beyond.
"Well boys," He smiled at Ivy "and girls. You heard the bat. Back to your cells. If the bat comes looking for me tell him I'm in the library."
Brushing bits of debris from his shoulders he stomped off toward his haven of books and solitude.

As Gotham’s most insane make their way out of the main office, Bat Man stands before the entryway to the infirmary. Sizing up the obstacle, Bat Man narrows his eyes in a hateful scowl. This was no doubt the work of Zasaz. Bat Man addressed the murder aloud in his ever gravely voice.
[glow=gray,5,000]“ Zasaz! Time to put your toys away!”[/color] [/glow]
Looking around he continued.
[glow=gray,5,000]“ Let the people go safely… and I will see what I can do about lowering your sentence time!”[/color] [/glow]

"Lower my sentence! I'm here for life, Batman!" Zsasz addressed the caped crusader while he held the nurse tight against his bare body with his knife across her throat. Through a mirror he had positioned he could see the Batman standing in the doorway even as he hid behind a metal storage cabinet on the other side of the room, safe from bat-arangs.
"I've got too much bloooooooood on my hands to ever be set free." He told his adversary "Would you like to know what that's like? Well you better hurry and save poor nurse Garcia here if you don't. and to be sporting I'll give you till the count of three before I slit her pretty little zombie throat... 1...."
