Bonebreaker listened to the mission briefing and his teammates reactions. He chuckled behind his mask at Deadpool's comments. The only thing he took seriously was making wise cracks, oh and killing things.
"Do we know where the civvies are? I'd hate to burst into a room and rough up the guys we're suppose to be saving. Also do we have any blueprints of the layout of the facility?"
He was all business now.

"Unfortunately, no. We could provide you with the official blueprints, but even our allies falsify the official records of their embassies. We fully expect the official records to be misleading. We also can't pinpoint the hostages; this bulding is lined with the latest DoomTech, including satellite bafflers." An image appeared next to their briefer, of an Eastern European man in full battle dress. This is the only real clue we have about these guys. This is Karl Van Eist, born in Latveria, fought for Victor Von Doom in the People's Revolution as a boy. No idea why a decorated Latverian soldier is suddenly opposed to Victor's son's leadership, and they're not saying. They're also not making any demands, which leads me to believe they may be up to something. Van Eist is a bonus target... if you can get him out of there alive, or find out what his little group is really all about, but its not nearly as important as the primary objectives. "Any other questions?"

"Sounds good to me," Trapster says, making a mental note about this Eist guy.

"Perhaps, if Self could get in the embassy.... Then as well as hacking the info, Self may be able to get control of the systems security cameras, to help locate hostages. But Self won't know until Self tries." Warlock said, justi nforming of possible strategies he thought was possible.
When the man was brought up, Warlock shook his head, having no further questions he believed. There wasn't much else he thought he needed to clarify to succesfully complete this mission.

"Sounds like Warlock here's the linchpin for this particular Op." The man in black tilts his head to the alien robot. "What kind of defensive capabilities've you got? Are we gonna have to divide our attention to protect you?"

"So let me get this straight, we go in, rescue the hostages, get this Karl Van Warhero out, and blow the place sky high. Just one question. Why the back-up? You all know I could do this alone with one hand tied behind my back? What you guys don't trust me?"

"What, you guys don't trust me?" Deadpool says.
The Agents exchange looks.
Mongoose: "...That's a rhetorical question, right?"

"Self... Is not exactly the most capable combatant. Self can generate energy beams utilizing self's naturally occuring operational energies. But Self doubts self could withstand a concentrated attack.
Also, if Self has to focus on operating and reading machinery... Self's ability to self defend is reduced by a quotient of 89.4 %. Particularly if there are bars or heavy security preventing Self's attempts.
The mission still relys on rescuing hostages however, and Self doubts self will be able to do much more than act in a support role. Self will strive not to become a burden to the mission." He said, nodding firmly as he sat up as straight as he could, taking this mission as seriously as he could.
He then glanced at Deadpool and blinked, tilting his head some. "Self... was not aware demolition was a factor in this mission. Self's mission files are apparently incomplete."

The modulated voice responded to Deadpool. "Getting Karl out is not a priority. He may be able to provide information, but chances are very low of us being able to retrieve him without being noticed... better to go without whatever he knows at all, than to give Von Doom space to accuse us of attempting to kidnap a Latverian National."

"We really need to teach you how to talk better Self," Bonebreaker pats Warlock on the back as he heads toward the door. "That settles it then. We meet at the transport in five. Now if you'll excuse me I think I need to slip into something a little more appropriate for this kind of op."
He chose to ignore Dead pool's comments about not needing back up. He knew the man was good, and there was nothing wrong with confidence, hell he himself was full of it. But something about this mission didn't sit well. Maybe it was the lack of intel. Maybe it was the company he'd be having on this little excursion. Most likely though was that if Shield had called them in, then they obviously considered this a high risk mission. Heading to his the room Shield had graciously provided him he quickly changed into something a little less outlandish. Satisfied he headed to the hangar bay to wait for the mission green light.

"Alright kiddies, lets hurry up and get this done. Battlestar Galactica comes on tonight." he says as he gets up and begins to head to the hangar.

As the others begin to file out, Mongoose waits, then falls into step with the robot Warlock.
"So, 'Lock..." he says in a low voice. "You know where you come from? Are there others like you out there?"
He keeps walking, his body language not giving anything away, but he's intensely curious.
"You and I seem to be the only non-criminal, non-psychopaths on this team. How's about we stick together?"

"Self's ship's planet of origin is classified. The fact that it is an alien ship alone should suffice... But Self does not have any memories of his planet of origin, nor if there are others like Self.
"Self only remembers the ship. Self was brought online by the previous generation of repair bots the ship sported.... Apparently for the past few millinia the machinery had been building and rebuilding themselves, seeking to find a way to completely repair the ships damaged systems, so Self is apparently the final generation... And probably would still be on that ship if Self hadn't repaired the distress beacon, which FriendSHIELDAgents located." Warlock said, figuring it might be fine if he explained that much, afterall it wasn't too different than what the scientists and researchers that worked for SHIELD had asked as well... But the truth was he didn't know. He knew what the builders of the ship looked like, that had been loaded into his memory, but humans... Specifically SHIELD agents, had been the first living beings he ever remembered seeing.
At the suggestion about sticking together, Warlock glanced at Mongoose with a rather suprised look on his face, before responding. "Self... Intends to stand by each of you. Do not worry, Self won't abandon you if you are in need. SelfsAgentFriends wouldn't do that, and neither will Self."

Trapster shakes his head with a smirk. How did he get himself into this?

Deadpool's voice can be heard yelling back form beyond the door, "It's because you replied to the recruitment thread."
