"Copy that," Pete notes quietly and holds back, catching his breath. Really should consider quitting...

Deadpool watches the guards movements and wonders when someone is either going to post or update. "Well this has gone nowhere fast. First I get flown to Somalia and left hanging now I'm somewhere in Maine I think. I gotta get a new travel agent."

Bonebreaker was just about to take down a guard when Warlock came over the comms. Cursing under his breath he backed off and tried to slip into the shadows.
Why did I ever agree to work for these people, he thought. He was already beginning to miss the good old days of running in and bashing peoples faces in. The mere thought of doing so brought a smile to his hidden lips.
Rolling his shoulders to relieve the tension there he settled in keeping an eyes on the guard, ready to strike when the time came.
Sorry for the delay. sometimes it takes me some time to get into a character.

Mongoose acknowledges Warlock's communication and moves forward past the rest of the team, pressing his free hand to the mic at his throat.
"This is Mongoose. I'm going to see if I can get inside without being detected and scout out the hostages," he radios to his teammates. "Standby."

It took some doing (he had to wait for one of the guards to open a door for him, or risk his invisibility), but Mongoose made his way into the building. Inside, all of the power seemed to be out. A pair of commandos stood in the foyer, silent.
In the large lobby area, an information desk was occupied by some kind of android with six hands that was using the computer there. Standing beside the robot, reading over its shoulder, was a familiar face; the leader of this little Latverian raid.
The rest of the team held tight, while Warlock accessed the data feed... and found himself wishing he'd been just a bit more cautious...
Warlock was standing alone in a room constructed entirely of data. Too much data. Well protected data. He knew, intellectually, that he was in the thrall of a sort of virus program, designed to entrap any artificial intelligence it encountered in a false world.
Whoever had designed this trap had been pretty confident in its abilities; the data that constructed his "prison" was the very data it was intended to protect. If Warlock could get out of here, he would have a pretty large chunk of it. It was hard to make out at first glance, but soon he realized that was because there were huge pieces of the data that referenced something far outside his understanding... meta-physics, or what humans might call "magic." But the overall intent of the data was obvious... it was armor. Like that worn by Victor Von Doom, but infinitely more advanced... and laced with meta-physical power.
Someone had designed the ultimate weapon... and these guys were stealing it.

"Today must be my lucky day." After making sure the coast is clear, he silently creeps up on one of the guards. As he approaches the poor sap from behind with his sword drawn, he quickly grabs the man's hand holding the deadman's switch, while simultaneously slitting the guard's neck with his free hand. "I'll be taking that." he says as he cuts off the hand holding the deadman's switch. Once the man is down, and the switch secure, Deadpool then works on hiding the body in some nearby bushes. "No need to alarm the rest of your pals. Besides, this gives me a good chance to work on my professional image, which has been in shambles as of late, but you gotta start somewhere don't you agree?" After a brief silence Deadpool looks back at the corpse angrily. "Fine, don't agree. See if I care. You're nothing but maggot food anyway." he says as he moves back into hiding.

Mongoose, invisible, moves around the periphery of the lobby, stopping to observe the robot and the target of opportunity standing next to him.
I'll have to come back for you, buddy. Hostages first. Gonna need something quieter than this... The invisible MP-4 dissolves back into his symbiote. An invisible staff expands in his grip to replace it. He gives it an experimental twirl.
Silently, Mongoose moves on down a corridor, looking for more doors or stairs, straining his heightened sense of hearing to pick up the sounds of hostages -- or more guards.
Out of normal hearing range of the lobby, he reports over the radio in a quiet voice.
"Listen up Misfits, this is Mongoose. I'm inside the embassy. Two hostiles guarding the lobby. Their leader is here with some kind of robot. Looks like they're downloading information from the embassy computer -- not sure if the tin can's combat-able. Give me a minute to look for hostages."

Warlock was amazed as he stared at the data, even as a prison the technology and skill it took to fabricate such a phenomenom was beyond his expectation! SHIELD certainely never had access to functions like this! He could scarcely contain his excitement.
The anti-virus program was certainely state of the art... But did it anticipate a being like him? Not just artificial intelligence, but ACTUAL intelligence, a living breathing computer being capable of adapting and improving itself like a human being.
By trapping him inside the data feed, the program had only succeeded in drawing him out of his physical shell, which now allowed him to emerse himself completely in the data that swirled about him. *
With his entire focus now freed, he concentrated on defeating the program. He would attempt to fool the program into accepting him as part of the program, hopefully bypassing the parts of the program he couldnt affect by manipulating the parts he could, and in doing so would gain access to the information that it was protecting.
* - Of course there is not an actual 'computer world', but instead is just a convenient visual expression of how two computerized entitities, one with a fairl human-like mind, would communicate on the computer level.
