STORY: Cynthia was one among many young Pokemon trainers, eager to go on an adventure and explore the world, to learn its secrets and seek the truth behind the legends of ancient times she had read about in the books. However, the blonde girl was somewhat different from most trainers. Gifted with an incredible intellect and great natural potential as a trainer, she had a natural affinity with Pokemons and no small amount of talent for tactics and battles. Mature for her age, she had already understood the importance of the bond between the Pokemon and their trainer, and she considered her Pokemon as her friends... in fact, even more than mere friends, they were her family.
The girl travelled Sinnoh for months, finding new Pokemons, meeting new people and battling other trainers as she visited new towns. She visited ancient ruins and temples, searching for artefacts and legends of the past, as well as rare Pokemons. Soon, she had made quite a reputation for herself, and after having gathered enough Pokemon badges, she travelled to the Victory Road, managed to get on the other side and challenged the Elite Four and their champion, Lucian. Despite the power of the Elite Four, and the incredible skill of Lucian, Cynthia defeated them all, becoming one of the youngest champions of Sinnoh (as well as one of the few girls to become champion), ever. These epic battles made Cynthia's main pokemon, Garchomp, famous, because not even once was the Mach Pokemon defeated even during the battles against the Elite Four and Lucian, and despite fighting furiously during all five Pokemon matches.
As the new champion of the League, Cynthia travelled the world again, searching for secrets that were previously inaccessible, and helping two of Professor Rowan's pupils, Lucas and Dawn, to fight the group of criminals known as Team Galactic and becoming great trainers of their own.
Eventually, Cynthia teamed up with Dawn to attempt to capture two legendary Pokemon, Dialga and Palkia. Together, the two managed to defeat the great dragons (in fact, Cynthia only used a single Pokemon to defeat Palkia: Garchomp, of course!), and they decided to keep one each.
Later, both Lucas and Dawn went through the Victory Road to battle the Elite Four and challenge Cynthia. Although Lucas didn't make it past Lucian (now the last of the Elite Four), Dawn managed to fight her way to Cynthia and fight her in one of the greatest Pokemon League battles ever seen, but in the end, she couldn't defeat the Champion. Cynthia encouraged her to not give up and train even harder so that she could become the next champion, and Dawn thanked her for both the battle and her kind words, swearing that "next time will be different."

NOTES: Garchomp is Cynthia's most trusted friend and Pokemon; the two were together for most of their lives. Most people aren't aware of this fact, but the "Pokemon Starter" Professor Rowan gave to the young blonde girl when she first became a Trainer was actually a small female Gible, who would later evolve into the fearsome dragon it is now.
Garchomp is Cynthia's main Pokemon in most situations; when she wants to travel far, she rides her; when she needs to defend herself, she calls her; when people ask her about her favorite Pokemon, she talks about her. Some of her other Pokemons may be better suited for some tasks, but Garchomp is her favorite for most. It was Garchomp who single-handedly ensured that Cynthia became Sinnoh's Pokemon League's champion, defeating the League and their former champion, Lucian, all by herself.

NOTES: While she has had Garchomp with her for a longer time, Cynthia was Lucario's trainer for its entire life. Cynthia was given a Pokemon egg by a trainer she met during her travels, and she kept it with her until it hatched, and she has kept the pokemon inside it, Riolu (who later evolved into Lucario) ever since to her side.
Lucario is a loud-mouthed showoff who isn't afraid to challenge most anything that dares to claim he isn't the best martial artist ever, and for all his boasting, he is actually pretty darn good. He is very protective of Cynthia and shows distrustful of most people out of caution. Despite his sometimes bothersome personality and his great pride and arrogance, he has a good heart and he and Cynthia share a very close bond.

NOTES: Spiritomb was one of the first pokemons Cynthia caught, and although she used to be a rather violent and fearsome spirit, she gradually warmed up to her trainer when she understood that Cynthia only wanted her friendship, respected her and trusted her. In time, she became one of Cynthia's most trusted pokemons, learning to keep her powers for thosde who deserved it instead of people who had done nothing wrong.
Cynthia will call for Spiritomb when she needs some more subtle kind of firepower or when she only wants to give a good scare to someone. She also understands the great tactical advantage of having a pokemon with no particular weakness who ignores most physical attacks without any trouble...

NOTES: Palkia is one of the two beings rumored to be responsible for creating the world eons ago. This ancient Pokemon is merely a legend in the minds of most, and Cynthia's habit of defeating most trainers using only her trusty Garchomp has left most people unaware that she actually has Palkia as one of her Pokemon (and Palkia itself doesn't mind much, since it prefers not to fight unless it is necessary).
A rather peaceful but unbelievably powerful Pokemon, the Spatial Pokemon would rather avoid conflict than seek it, and it loves its trainer because she understands this. Although she is an adventuress and a Pokemon League champion (two occupations often leading to battles or at least, trouble) she uses her other Pokemons before asking Palkia to take matters into its dragon hands, which is perfect with it. It is curious about the world and other Pokemons and enjoys being with its new trainer, however, so it doesn't mind much being carried around from place to place and having to fight once in a while or use its considerable powers for the greater good.
Although it often tries to avoid conflict and often appears very serious, Palkia actually has both a strange sense of humor and a divine hatred for evildoers. It sees peace as an ideal to strive for, but isn't foolish and knows that sometimes, some individuals will threaten it and will require someone to stop them. Palkia is confident that that someone will be Cynthia when the time comes, and that it will be there with her if the need arise.

STORY: Cynthia was one among many young Pokemon trainers, eager to go on an adventure and explore the world, to learn its secrets and seek the truth behind the legends of ancient times she had read about in the books. However, the blonde girl was somewhat different from most trainers. Gifted with an incredible intellect and great natural potential as a trainer, she had a natural affinity with Pokemons and no small amount of talent for tactics and battles. Mature for her age, she had already understood the importance of the bond between the Pokemon and their trainer, and she considered her Pokemon as her friends... in fact, even more than mere friends, they were her family.
The girl travelled Sinnoh for months, finding new Pokemons, meeting new people and battling other trainers as she visited new towns. She visited ancient ruins and temples, searching for artefacts and legends of the past, as well as rare Pokemons. Soon, she had made quite a reputation for herself, and after having gathered enough Pokemon badges, she travelled to the Victory Road, managed to get on the other side and challenged the Elite Four and their champion, Lucian. Despite the power of the Elite Four, and the incredible skill of Lucian, Cynthia defeated them all, becoming one of the youngest champions of Sinnoh (as well as one of the few girls to become champion), ever. These epic battles made Cynthia's main pokemon, Garchomp, famous, because not even once was the Mach Pokemon defeated even during the battles against the Elite Four and Lucian, and despite fighting furiously during all five Pokemon matches.
As the new champion of the League, Cynthia travelled the world again, searching for secrets that were previously inaccessible, and helping two of Professor Rowan's pupils, Lucas and Dawn, to fight the group of criminals known as Team Galactic and becoming great trainers of their own.
Eventually, Cynthia teamed up with Dawn to attempt to capture two legendary Pokemon, Dialga and Palkia. Together, the two managed to defeat the great dragons (in fact, Cynthia only used a single Pokemon to defeat Palkia: Garchomp, of course!), and they decided to keep one each.
Later, both Lucas and Dawn went through the Victory Road to battle the Elite Four and challenge Cynthia. Although Lucas didn't make it past Lucian (now the last of the Elite Four), Dawn managed to fight her way to Cynthia and fight her in one of the greatest Pokemon League battles ever seen, but in the end, she couldn't defeat the Champion. Cynthia encouraged her to not give up and train even harder so that she could become the next champion, and Dawn thanked her for both the battle and her kind words, swearing that "next time will be different."

Lucario is a loud-mouthed showoff who isn't afraid to challenge most anything that dares to claim he isn't the best martial artist ever, and for all his boasting, he is actually pretty darn good. He is very protective of Cynthia and shows distrustful of most people out of caution. Despite his sometimes bothersome personality and his great pride and arrogance, he has a good heart and he and Cynthia share a very close bond.

NOTES: Roserade was the first pokemon Cynthia ever caught, and has been around ever since. While she is far from the best fighter of Cynthia's team, she has her own strengths and skills that sets her appart from her allies, and she is very hard-working and willing to do her best always. She is very curious, however, and at times this has put her or her friends at risk. She is no fool, however, and always does her best not to endanger others because of her.
Roselia may not be the toughest fighter around, but she has special skills that makes her very useful. Her power over plants and lots of kinds of poisons makes her an often underestimated, though impressive opponent.

NOTES: Spiritomb was one of the first pokemons Cynthia caught, and although she used to be a rather violent and fearsome spirit, she gradually warmed up to her trainer when she understood that Cynthia only wanted her friendship, respected her and trusted her. In time, she became one of Cynthia's most trusted pokemons, learning to keep her powers for thosde who deserved it instead of people who had done nothing wrong.
Cynthia will call for Spiritomb when she needs some more subtle kind of firepower or when she only wants to give a good scare to someone. She also understands the great tactical advantage of having a pokemon with no particular weakness who ignores most physical attacks without any trouble...

On the other hand, Togekiss is much more friendly and trusting than Lucario and as such he likes Cynthia as much, if not more, as his fellow pokemon. Togekiss loves peace, making new friends and seeing new things. It is curious, friendly and playful, always willing to help and make people smile.
Although it is not interested in battle and violence, he is actually a very impressive fighter, like all of Cynthia's pokemons. He packs quite a punch especially in flight, and his Metronome technique can often turn the tables when he finds himself on the losing side. Togekiss is always trying to get along with everyone and enjoys his life as one of Cynthia's pokemons.

NOTES: Palkia is one of the two beings rumored to be responsible for creating the world eons ago. This ancient Pokemon is merely a legend in the minds of most, and Cynthia's habit of defeating most trainers using only her trusty Garchomp has left most people unaware that she actually has Palkia as one of her Pokemon (and Palkia itself doesn't mind much, since it prefers not to fight unless it is necessary).
A rather peaceful but unbelievably powerful Pokemon, the Spatial Pokemon would rather avoid conflict than seek it, and it loves its trainer because she understands this. Although she is an adventuress and a Pokemon League champion (two occupations often leading to battles or at least, trouble) she uses her other Pokemons before asking Palkia to take matters into its dragon hands, which is perfect with it. It is curious about the world and other Pokemons and enjoys being with its new trainer, however, so it doesn't mind much being carried around from place to place and having to fight once in a while or use its considerable powers for the greater good.
Although it often tries to avoid conflict and often appears very serious, Palkia actually has both a strange sense of humor and a divine hatred for evildoers. It sees peace as an ideal to strive for, but isn't foolish and knows that sometimes, some individuals will threaten it and will require someone to stop them. Palkia is confident that that someone will be Cynthia when the time comes, and that it will be there with her if the need arise.
