Surprised that more people here aren't seeing/haven't seen Pacific Rim. Personally, I blame the Steam sale.

(Returns from playing Mark of the Ninja) It isn't in Spain yet, I have an excuse! I'm assuming that the summertime is hitting the posting rate hard.

That.. that just isn't right. Something ought to be done about that. EDIT: Also, Mark of the Ninja is great. ~TWF

And the crazy part is...this is a college town. Last I checked, college students love movies.
Never heard of Mark of the Ninja. Last ninja game I played was Super House of Dead Ninja. But I might look into it...

I've been meaning to watch Pacific Rim, but my niece and nephew keep dragging me to all these kids movies coming out. In the past few days, we've already seen Monsters University, Despicable Me 2, Epic, and a few others I can't even remember the names of.
I mean, I could technically say no to them and go watch what I want buuut... I just can't seem to do it. I'm a soft uncle I guess.

Hah, I wish my brother would let me take my niece and nephew to see some movies. They aren't even allowed to watch tv.

Also, this should come as little surprise, but the reviews for The Wolverine are not off to a great start. The question is, will it dip below the 38% that Origins scraped together? ~TWF

Really? I think this new Wolverine movie looks very watchable. Maybe my expectations are just really low after First Class...

It looks pretty dumb to me.
Hugh Jackman may be a leading man, but Wolverine isn't. Not in these sorts of PG-13 movies, nayway. He's much better in someone else's film, or at least as part of an ensemble cast. He was so popular in X-Men and X2 because he had Cyclops to play off of, Jean to flirt with, and Rogue to allow him to showcase his heart of gold. In these movies they're asking him to portray the same things, but without those characters to help out. It's impossible.
At least these crappy X-Men movies haven't explicitly crossed-over into the Avengers world yet.

I liked him just fine as the protagonist of his own anti-hero type stories back in the day (and this movie is based on one of those old storylines)

I'm gonna treat the New Wolverine movie like Mexico handles its justice system.... Guilty of sucking, until proven Inncent of all wrongdoing.

The Wolverine is up to 69%, but still only 16 reviews have been counted; it's early yet.
