SCAVENGER HUNT The craziest winter in living memory is at last over, and throughout the land, the sound of wood against horsehide can once again be heard-- accompanied by the "POP" of all maner of beverage cans being opened and the happy cry of... "Batter up!" Kitty cries. "Get a hit, Peter, we sure need it!"Considering the odds, Kitty, Peter and Ororo's team should be winning this game. "The score's pretty close, Ororo," says Illyana. "We still have a chance.""I shall miss this when I leave, Charles," Lilandra admits. "There's a simple solution," Xavier offers. "Yes," teases the alien princess. " You and the X-Men come with me to Shi'ar.""Touche." the professor retorts. "I must say, Wolverine chose his team brilliantly. Nightcrawler's teleporting ability enables him to be anywhere on the field in the blink of an eye, while Rogue can fly after any ball he misses. And Wolverine is the sneakiest pitcher I've ever seen."Colossus's Health: 3/3 Colossus's Energy: 9/9

Kurt smiles broadly as he looks up to Piotr, "Ach, it has some good pepper on it, Mein Freund... Do you think you can hit it? As the saying goes, 'Hey, batter, batter, sa-wing batter...'"

KRAK"Good shot, Peter!" Professor X exclaims when it looks like Petey just put another ball into orbit. "Not this time! Look!" Rogue shouts. "It's comin' back down!""--it's a ship!!"Massive 'pressor beams hammer the astounded mutants to the ground--and nearly unconscious-- as the unknown vessel reverses its main drive...and comes to a complete stop directly above the mansion. "What in the world..." Kurt looks up in shock, trying to keep his wits about him. It looked like a simple day playing ball was about to get a whole lot less simple.

Rogue
A bit dizzy, Rogue slowly stands back up after being smashed into the ground. She rolls her eyes, then looks up towards the ship.
-Dammit. An' we were winnin', too. Lemme guess, these folks ain't here to watch the game, I reckon? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No actions here, just standing back up and looking at the ship.

"Probably not." Storm said, watching the ship with suspicion. She didn't know who or what the ship was, or who was operating it, but there was an even chance it wasn't friendly. Rather than jump to conclusions, she asked the professor and the others, "Do any of you recognize this ship at all?" Long shot, but it had to be asked.
No actions, just curiosity.

"Galactus!!" Lilandra screams when the ship's sole occupant emerges. "He is the enemy of all that lives, a being who consumes living planets for food--and crushes utterly any who dare try to stop him! Even your powers, X-Men, are as nothing compared to his!""Yet he said he came in peace, Lilandra." Professor X gently presses thin fingertips to his temples. "Perhaps a mind-probe will yield some idea of his true intentions."A moment later... "Charles!" Lilandra shouts when Xavier suddenly and violently falls from his wheelchair! "Professor!" Nightcrawler was nervous about the giant looming purple and green giant before them. Galactus has tangled with the Fantastic Four before, and only they won with the help of the Ultimate Nullifer, could the X-Men fare better...? And did he always look so green?

Colossus is too busy to be concerned with the discoloration of this "impossible" version of Galactus. He immediately runs to the professor lifting him up and placing his teacher in his chair.
