The heli-carrier is within Kurt's teleportation range, but with Ariel in tow, bamfing inside SHIELD's headquarters to find the one who stole their mansion won't be easy.

Kurt nods. "Are you ready, Katzschen?" Kurt mutters a prayer to himself as he puts his three-fingered hand on her shoulder. BAMF!
Should the Helicarrier prove out of his reach, Kurt was prepared to make a quick secondary 'port to make his way fully inside.

Underestimating the distance to the heli-carrier and the number of his passengers, Nightcrawler, Katzchen and Lockheed only re-materialize just outside the Blackbird! Fortunately, Kurt was prepared to make a quick secondary 'port. However, since Nightcrawler has never seen the inside of SHIELD's HQ, the X-Man only teleports to the outer hull. Once there, Ariel leaves the fuzzy elf outside with her dragon and phases inside to look for the crook alone. Nightcrawler's Health: 3/3

Nightcrawler wastes no time tumbling out of the (depressurized?) hole and grabbing the purple and green wooden Indian that's tumbling out of the hole. After he grabs onto it, he'll teleport back inside with it, or so he plans.

Kurt grabs with his three-fingered hands to try and hold the snake-shapeshifter's mouth open as they tumble. The color scheme of this massive purple and green creature looks familiar. Was this the thing that was posing as Galactus...?

Nightcrawler suddenly finds himself wrestling with the jaws of a giant pterodactyl! It's flying away from the heli-carrier and the X-Men's blackbird, so unless Kurt wants to become an in-flight snack, he needs to teleport away now!
