Can my char have say Healing Factor and Advanced Healing Factor (thusly gaining 6 red stones per 2 white and 1 health per 2 panels and an aditional health per hour)?

While there's no rule that states that you can't, I wouldn't personally allow it in a game.

The various Healing Factors were badly written, in my opinion. Should've been one Modifier with three possible Options (Accelerated, Enhanced, and Instant). Leastways that's how my house rules detail it.

Exactly why I made this thread, cause healing factors are broken (then again, who is to say that I cant have 2 different Force Blasts of different elements. Accualy, it states that you can have more than one mastery of different elements.)

i think that just one healing factor is the way they inteded it, other wise they would have made it differantly where instead of buying a whole differant healing factor you would buy effects of a healing factor like..
5w for a basic healing factor..
+2w to get 1w/2panels..
+2w to get 2red/3health
+2w. to.. etc... etc.. etd...
se my point? or do i hafta start rammbling on and on about nothings??..huh?

I love a good nothing!
Personaly though, I could kinda see someone with both healing factors... A guy that regenerated energy super fast and was allmost totaly imposable to kill (then again, maybe the game designers accualy saw a loophole before the other players and thats why we have 2 new healing factors)

Also healing factors are expensive, why would you want to spend to buy more then one, where you could spend quite a bit less and just get the next version up.

This is true now that the Instant Healing Factor came about.
Ive been thinking about a house rule that you cant have anything above Advanced Healing and Reconstitute Self.

Reconstitute self should be leaft to NPC's, it's to powerful for a normal charecter. As a GM you will have less plot oprotunities, and the player will eventually bore of the game with this because he can't die anyway and you'll piss off the other players too. I mean nothings worse than runnin a game when everyone has Reconstitute self

On second thought, if a PC has Recon Self he can only die once per day and come back.

I like the idea for 3 levels of healing...
Cause as i see it there is 3 levels of healing in marvel.
Healing factor:
- The 1 health stone pr. hour... Used by some heroes.
Accelerated Healing Factor:
- Used by Wolfy and saber and surely some other characters.
Instant Healing:
- This one i mostly was thinking about venom...
He is able to instantly heal his wounds, but in the book they havent even mentioned his healing powers...

More than one healing factor... hehe...... i would say no...
Maybe improve the first one (somehow).

The books specify that HF's replace normal regen rates. So in the case of multiple versions on a character, I think this is enough to claim that they do not stack. But instead that highest one is used to determine regen of energy.
As for health, I think it'd be a non issue, as even if you allowed a character to regen health stones from mulitple healing factors of different levels, then they could of just bought a higher type like Instant at an = or lower cost.

The text says for both normal and advanced "the character regenerates 3 red stones for every 2 white stones the character has." We can all agree this doesn't mean 'in addition to the first 2', so why wouldn't (if it meant that) it say "3 more red stones for every 2 white"
