I like your idea Gris, if this game is set up, would you like do work on something like that with me? It's always fun when you have somehow of a link to the other players characters^^ well, that's up to you!

Alright, I'm back. If you're interested in this drop me a concept (preferably 2 or 3 so that I can get the most well-rounded team possible). The stone count is probably going to be in the 50+20 vicinity, but I'm going to look at concepts first. I'd really rather not have a set stone count at all since, in my experience, they don't really create balance... but what tends to happen when I say "no stone count" is I get 200+ stone Superman fill-ins 8)

If you put a stone count, of course characters will either be too weak or too strong for what they are suppose to be, but again, those are character based on the orginals and not the real ones. Personally I prefer where there is no stone count, your the GM so if a CAD seems over powered and doesn't seems to fit, you can say it. ^^
Gris: Cool! Did you had any character in mind, I know you mention batman.

They may have been at one point, but when the original came back, they get a quick de-power, die, or become villains 8)

My point exactly!

Yep, I'm agreeing with you 100%. My point is; I'd rather not rely on stone counts, but I think 50+20 is an area to aim for, for the time being 8)

Got it, also, will there be any house rule or will we be playing with the normal rules?

Got it, also, will there be any house rule or will we be playing with the normal rules? Normally I'd direct you to my standing house rules for all of my games, but most of them probably won't be helpful here. We'll definitely be using the separate Durability/Energy Pool/Regeneration rule (meaning that each of those is an Ability in itself with the same cost as any other Ability, as opposed to one Ability governing all three that costs X3. There is no "Intelligence Based Energy" and options that improve Regeneration such as Healing Factor have their cost based on the Regeneration Ability)

Gris: Cool! Did you had any character in mind, I know you mention batman. Not really, it was just an easy example. I'm not as well versed in DCU as in Marvel U, but I think we could do anyone, I think that it just needs to be a character old and known enough so that any different take our characters did during their replacement doesn't come as too otherworldly or weird, considering that character's history.

WK: Got it. Also, is the character we can take from, limited to the DCU?
Gris: I'll try to think a few things, tell me if you get any idea.

Yep, strictly the DCU

Then can you refer me to a page where I can see the list of heroes of the DC universe please, I know Batman, Superman and Flash are from there, right?

Ok. Well, I went ahead and look around at the DC characters, here is the list of those that interrest me.
Raven Flash Batman
And that's mostly because I didn't felt like checking everyone of them! Too many!!!

I would avoid Raven if I were you. I'm highly unlikely to choose a character based on her powerset (both because Raven's abilities are somewhat unique, and because the magic rules in MURPG are a strain)
