Well, I don't really intend to copy Raven's ability at all, I was most likely thinking that my character might had some telekinesis power that he/she could shape to imitate those of Raven, nothing magic related, Cause I've mostly seen Raven using her powers to move object or to use telephatic communication, I wanted to go that route and forget about the whole demon father thing.
What do you think?

I personally don't see any trouble with trying to mimic Raven's weird set of powers (the incomplete mimicking of them could also be part of the background) the thing is that I don't see people running to continue her legacy in case of death, much less two people in different moments of time. Picking an A lister, like someone from the JLA is probably a sounder bet.

Raven is a very unique character, and hardly the kind of person that someone else would want to become. The Titans don't really have a lot of people whose "roster slot" needs to be specifically filled (with the exception of Robin, of course) "I'm one of the 34 Robins. Guess which one?"

What do you think? That kind of ignores the point of the game... the game isn't really about "people with similar powers to more popular characters." It's about people who stepped into the boots of a major hero or heroine during a time of absence. Steel, for instance, was one of the "Reign of the Supermen" fill-ins while Superman was dead, but his powers are nothing like those of Superman really. Conversely, Jax-Ur and Zod have the exact same powers as Superman, but wouldn't really be thought of as "fill-in Supermen"

That's not what I meant. You said you didn't like magic, that's why I wanted to use something similar, but the character himself would really try to be like Raven for a reason or another. But if you really don't like the idea, I'll go with someone else. I really like your game concept but I'm not very familiar with the DC universe.

Did you had someone in mind Gris? Not really, the other two you mentioned, Flash and Batman, should work perfectly fine.

Any preference between the two?

Of the two, I would say that Batman is the one that offers more interesting chances to see different points of view about what it means to replace the legend and be Batman.

Background draft for my character: Hello, my name is Michael Haywood, and this is my first time here. I started my... well, villain career very young. I was stupid, hotheaded and had just discovered that the dude that was in the pictures around my house wasn't my father. What can you do being fifteen and discovering that your father is the Greek god of fear? Yeah, get punched by Wonder Woman, that's more or less what you can do. So my not-really-evil stint was quickly over before I could really do much, so I did the other thing that a powered teenager can do, at least for a while. But naming myself after my father and pretending that someone named Phobos could be a superhero was... stupid, and brought the attention of the real one. I really wasn't a villain, I sucked at being a teen hero, so I took a jab at having a normal life.
I don't know how it's for you, but you can't just ignore who you are, not forever. I had a career as an architect, a beautiful wife and two lovely children, I was happy, or at least content. But it didn't matter, I couldn't stop. Beating a mugger here, scaring some drug dealers there... I had to do things every once in a while. Until the sky split open. Yeah, that was messed up, I still don't know what the hell happened. The thing is that all the major heroes were gone, just poof'd away to take part on one of those singular events that decide the destiny of the universe and whatnot. In one moment I was supervising the remodeling of the Gotham Opera House, the next moment the skies turned red and there was an empty Bat-mobile and some unconscious goons in the alley next to me.
I would be lying if I told you that I thought of my wife and children back then. I just hopped in, and the car itself took me to where it belonged. That started the craziest month of my life. Batman was gone, Robin was gone, Gotham was going crazy with lunatics that saw prophecies of apocalypse in the red sky, and I was alone in Batman's headquarters. What could I do? I had to do something, right? Well, now I'm divorced, and I can't see my boys, so I guess that some choices come with being a hero. But man, no kidding, in a month I kicked more ass that Batman would in a year. Yeah, he's smart as hell, and has a knack for technology and all that, but I'm a freaking demigod who can brush bullets aside, punch through concrete and make goons shit themselves with a stare.
So, you know what? I should be the freaking Batman, and I'd let the scrawny sidekick to take care of all the detecting and deducing. Maybe that way he wouldn't have to need a replacement Robin every time he pisses off them or they die.

Tell me what you think!
Character:
Name: Aedan Elfeinstein Age:21 Gender: Male Other aliases: Batman (use to be)
Aedan grew up in the worst district of Gotham, his own father was always drunk and he had never known his mother. She disapeared 1 year after giving birth to him. Ah but his father, Nicolas Weltson was not always as drunk as he was today, it all started when his mother disapeared. Tough, his mother had left him with an incredible amount of money to use as he please when he would turn 16. But that little backstory doesn't tell much about Aedan himself.
As he grew with criminals running in his backyard and gunshot every here and there, there was one man that stood in between the bad and the good; Batman. He had grew up looking at this man from the far away alleys, in the shadows, where he couldn't be seen. Over the year, he had developped many skills and abilities and had schemed his way into this new role. At first, Batman was a model, but then, when he disapeared for a few years, he decided to take on the mask for himself.
Aedan is a good fighter, but his true abilities lies in his powerful intellect. Playing with chemicals, gaining informations et using it against his ennemis, he has started a new way of fighting crimes while staying behind the scene, sometimes making appearances to show the ennemies that he was the one to fear and that he did existed. Batman wasn't gone.
Using many aliases, he builded up his network, entangling his ennemies in this big trapped spiderweb. His ways of fighting crimes weren't exactly legal, but they did worked perfectly well.
During the day, he was going from place to place to get the gossips, sometimes passing hours in his personal secret labs, making chimicals product to help him on his task. In the evening, on various days of the week, he worked in different well known criminal related bar as a bartender and with the chance to meet with these criminals, gained more infos on there wereabouts, sometime slipping a little something in their drinks to get them to speak.
And when night came, he put on the mask and dealth with the criminals, using the infos and his own chemicals special bombs to either get rid of them or to hand them over to the police, in wich, he had some contacts as well.

I apologize if I haven't gotten back to you about this yet. I've got some good looking submissions; if you've done a concept, you can feel free to send me a CAD, though as of right now, it's not really looking as if I will probably have enough characters for the game.
