Hey gang,
Check out the first trailer for No Country For Old Man Logan, debuting sometime in 2017. I didn't think they were far enough into shooting this to have a trailer already, but it looks tight:
I don't know about you guys, but I'm willing to go on one last romp with Hugh Jackman in this role.

Really? No reactions? I think it looks like it might be amazing. It's just one trailer, but so far my interest is piqued!

I know that I couldn't really expect anything close to the weirdness that Old Man Logan was, but this (even if it doesn't looks bad, partly to the music) looks quite generic. It's somewhat bland with a seemingly generic paramilitary antagonist and I can't shake the feeling of seeing something closer to an adaptation of The Last of Us and not a Wolverine movie. Sure, she has the young female sidekick (probably Laura for the outlook of the preview) that works so well with him most of the time, but it's still too soon. Maybe a second trailer will show something that makes the movie more unique or special.

Maybe a second trailer will show something that makes the movie more unique or special. This is the last major film appearance for both Jackman's Wolverine, and Stewart's Xavier, the villains are Donald Pierce, those paramilitary guys are actually Reavers, Mister Sinister is going to feature to some extent, and yes, that's X-23 (and Caliban). It does have an "escort quest" feel to it, but it reminds me more of Children of Men than The Last Of Us. Apocalypse was generic; this looks like a tighter, character-driven film that isn't trying to get by on huge special effects. Again, it's just one trailer, but I think it shows promise. (I'm also really hoping that without these two leading men the Fox X-Men films will eventually dry up and die.) ~TWF

Well, Apocalypse was awful, that's for sure and this is promising. The two things that don't help is the bleak generic future and a horrible track record, but yeah, it could be good.

Don't forget the one person I was looking forward to was Psylocke and well that was a tragic.
As far as the trailer goes not bad, but with fox's track record they better have this make up for Apocalypse.
Deadpool made up for Origins. And were still waiting for a better X-men over all movie, at least in MY OPINION.

Trailer #2 is out, and I think it still looks great:
About 6 weeks to go.

Still wary, but it's true that it looks better and better each time. Will end up watching it.

Just realized I posted the wrong link; correct it to feature the very-slightly-longer red band trailer, which is red band only insofar as it contains one two f-bombs.
