Tim nods and plugs you into the lap top hits a couple of keys and seems to relax, just a tiny bit.
Your operating system first recognises and then accepts the external log in from the Wayne Industries server and you can feel something or someone start the system scan. The sensation is akin to cool water slowly running down your entire body, like it is washing away any electronic grime and dirt you might have picked up.
It takes maybe five minutes and by the time it is done you feel 'cleaner' than you ever have in your life. Everything feels right and in place and tidy in a way you can't imagine any human ever has.
"Ohkay... Looks like a clean bill of health. If you'd like I can send you a copy of the report. It's mostly just computer jargon but, you know, it's your body, so it's your if you want it."
He pulls out a card from his jacket pocket.
"Also if you need to contact us, my numbers on the card, call it any time. Twenty four seven."
He gets up and starts packing away the equipment.
"The doc said you could talk to her if you wanted. A brush with the Joker isn't something people get over quickly, but if not you are free to leave whenever you are ready."

Henry Grue
Gotham's 13th Precinct is in the East end. Unlike more modern buildings it is one of the Gargoyle infested relics that The Batman seems to love so much. Three stories with a basement, and a car park on the side the east end of Gotham is not a good area which is perhaps why the special crimes unit has been located there.
Nicknamed 'the Night Shift', you have been assigned there by commissioner Gordon himself, under the command of Captain Jocelyn Dyre.
Captain Dyre has a reputation herself as something of a loose cannon. Whilst not publicly condoning The Batman it is well known that she doesn't care how a job gets done as long as it gets done. This has led to speculation that she either turns a blind eye to Batman's activities or perhaps even collaborates with him, if such a thing is possible.
All this combined with an impressive arrest and conviction record and a self confidence that boarders on arrogance made her one of the up and coming stars of GCPD. It came as no surprise to anyone when Gordon picked her to head up the Special Crimes task force that introduced people with 'unique abilities' to the GCPD.
Standing outside the front entrance to the 13th Precinct you can't help but wonder what awaits you within.
Everyone else
Day is over, night is coming, and it's time to go to work.

Leaving his normal car in the garage since he is not done enchanting it, Christopher takes an electric blue Maserati. Parking in what has become his spot he slams the door and sprints in, disappointed to find that Cerberus is not there yet and sitting down impatiently to wait to ambush the half fae with a deluge of questions.

Cerberus
After a good night....day sleep? Cerberus got up, woke up with his cat not too far from him and stretched plenty before getting up and feeding john, then making himself some breakfast, thinking about all that has happen during last night. Then take a quick shower and get dressed for work.
-See you later John...-
He says, petting the feline before leaving the apartment. He then makes his way to the parking lot where the more then too expensive car is and get in before he drive toward the precinct. He park in and notice that Christopher is already there. There is a lot to be said, and well, apart from that, he wonder how they will proceed with everything else. Hopefully, he would also get news from his partner Jade. He hoped she was safe. His father was not one man to be trifled with, specially when it came to mind related matters.
He walks inside, waving a quick hello to his co workers before walking toward the captain’s office.

Late night feeding made Mildred something of a deep sleeper, a content predator with a full belly, so it was no surprise that with the sundown her routine had turned slow and sluggish. Of course, that cozy feeling was way better than sleeping and waking up hungry. The skin itched, feeling dry and tense over the bones, and thinking rationally was quite difficult. Luckily it had been a long time since she hungered for an extended period of time, so her more beastly moments were a distant memory. All dressed up in one of her suits and ready to go, Mildred knew by a glance of the clock that she was going to arrive a tad late. Fashionably late if you asked her, but that was just an excuse. The last night had been an eventful one, and the implications of it still bothered Mildred as she was becoming more and more alert as the dark took Gotham, but she wasn't governed by that urgency no more.
There still was the matter of the monster under the bed, of course.
As she got into Christopher's borrowed car, Mildred thought about how the rest of the team, specially Cerberus, were going to take the news. As far as she was concerned, and she had left it patently clear the night before, she wanted to lure and kill the being in their basement. A definitive solution for a problem that had been left lingering long enough. Maybe mortals could afford the luxury of leaving something be for a century, or even half of it, but even if Mildred wasn't particularly ancient she was old enough to get a certain perspective on that. Of course, she couldn't even dream of beating the boss in the longevity department, so Dyre had twice the reasons to decide. She wasn't just in charge, she also had the experience.
Cerberus could be an issue too, it didn't matter that Mildred didn't intend on feeding from him, she wasn't going to make a partner bleed without consent.
Ignoring the shiver the idea of tasting such a sweet morsel produced, Mildred drove through the night, ready to arrive into the precinct and she hoped it would be a painless meeting.

Henry stretched his neck and it went just a little too far, he pulled it back into place and felt the pressurized chambers that made up his body pop and hiss, taking sticky steps (followed by slight "pops") as he made his way up the steps. He was stunned as he took in the 13th, looked like the kind of place Bat activity would explode around. He'd have to set up some sensors and cameras near the perimeters, some of the "traps" that his buddies back at the old precinct used to laugh about, and see if he got more signs of activity than he did. He couldn't help but feel tired, even though it was already early. The first thing he would look for when he made his way past the front desk would be a cup of coffee.

Coming into work after a night like that was just... exhausting in of itself and while he was quite surprised at how it all ended he couldn't help but feel a longing.

Henry
The precinct is like most others in Gotham. The front desk shields a booking area where the day to day police work is done, then at the back of the booking area is a raised area with desks for detectives and at the back of that the Captains office.
Upstairs will be offices and probably the forensics lab, down stairs will be cells. Out back will be a gun range. Coffee machines and coffee pots will be everywhere.
Everyone
Christopher and Cerberus are already sat down and Mildred arrives (fashionably late) just as the Captains door opens and she steps out.
"Good evening everyone. We'll have a briefing in a few moments. We have a new officer arriving today."

The whole team wasn't there when Mildred arrived, but at least both her partner and the key ingredient for the task at hand had arrived. She wasn't going to be the one to break the news to Cerberus if she could avoid it, a vampire asking for his blood even if it was a little bit... well, that could make him lean towards not wanting to do it. Mildred hoped that they could end the thing in the basement without much hassle, that way she could focus on a couple of matters of more personal nature, but that would have to wait.
"Ohh, a new one!" Mildred clapped, curious. It was true that they hadn't been at the job for long, a dangerous one that had quite the rotation, but at least that way she could meet a new partner and they would have more muscle to face any trouble.

Henry pops a few too many sugars in for most people's taste, but takes his coffee black. He takes a big long sip as he watches the captain step out. He makes his way towards the briefing, albeit perhaps a bit languidly. He'll take his time slowly sizing everyone up before sitting somewhere with a little bit of space between him and everyone else if possible.

Hawkins walked his way in like a man who'd given up. His only cure for the sickness of work being a large mug of black sludge that said I dont give a fk if I die. He made his way into the briefing room with grim... indifference. He'll have to remember to hit the hay sooner than... well he'll have to remember to get some sleep next tomorrow.

Cerberus
The young man was glad to be back in the office, even if it meant to be facing some new monsters again, but there was a lot to be said before they decided to move along. As the new officer came in, he couldn’t help but think of his own partner, form which he didn’t had much news.
-Welcome to the team.-
He said toward the newcomer. Then turning toward the others, he says.
-Ok...so before anyone try to bleed me to death, I have a few things I need to share with you...-
He waited for everyone to quiet down and have the captain allow him to speak.

The captain herds everyone into the briefing room, a small shuttered room off the main office area.
It is filled with chairs, with a surprisingly modern looking screen at the back of the room.
"OK, so, business for today." She says not waiting for anyone to sit down.
"We have a suspect in holding from the attack on Detective Bradley's residence. I've assigned the case to Lt. McPhierson. Those of you who were there I expect reports. Detective Bradley I want you to work with Lt. McPhierson. We don't know why they attacked and the suspect isn't being cooperative."
She doesn't pause for comment.
"Next we have the issue of the entity in the basement. As this is your initiation case I want a verbal report on what you know, what you've found out and what solutions you are proposing. Detective Grue needs to be brought up to speed and now is as good a time as any."
"Who's first?"

Cerberus
As they were led to another room, the captain started speaking before any of them had the time to start, but as she apparently needed them to report, he simply lifted his hand.
-I'll start...-
He said.
-On the matter of the entity in the basement, it seems like it was planted there by the fae a long time ago as a punishment on the human who broke their promise to the fey folk, also, removing it would also mean a war against them, they've been quite clear on it...-
He continued, then paused for a moment.
-During my inspection of Detective's Bradley house, I've found myself into some kind of walkway between world and met with a fey called Grandmother...if we were to remove the entity in the basement, in order to avoid a war, we would need to plant 3 more somewhere on the Miagani...and we have 1 year and 1 day of the original's death to do so, that is IF we remove the first one...-
He then sighed. He remembered his little walk into that place. Quite the journey.
-On another note, I have been able to confirm that detective's Bradley grand-mother has been there a few times...and that she was apparently on her way to Olympus for reasons I have yet to uncover...-
He finished.
