How does the MN + 2 for battery work? If I have energy or regeneration at 3, and wanted it to 5, how would you price it?

If I have energy or regeneration at 3, and wanted it to 5, how would you price it? Hm? I'm not sure I'm following. It works like every single other modifier with a MN does. Reflexive Dodge is CL=MN+3, so if you buy it at MN 3, it would have a cost level of 6, or 4w. Energy Battery and Deep Reserves are both CL=MN+2, so if you buy them at, say, 2, they would have a cost level of 4, or 2w. Same as any other modifier with a MN. If you have Dur 3 (and thus Max Energy of 9 and Regeneration per panel of 3), and you bought Energy Battery 2 and Deep Reserves 2, it would cost you 2w + 2w = 4w total, for a max energy of 15 and a Regen per panel of 5. Hm. Imagine if Kira's character actually knew Claire, and escaped being murdered by Sylar as well. That'd be cool. |

I'm bad at math so that does not sit well with me. But I do get it! And I know other people do this in there games but do you allow for us to save challenge stones? Like I'll use 2 White Stones for challenges for my character now and then use 3 white stones later?

Ah, sorry. I wasn't aware of the 'bad at math' part. Still, if you have the core book, on page 39 is a table you can use to help figure out the costs. Or, well, you can always ask me for help, lol.
But no, challenge stones are either used now or not. What I do normally allow is the Power in Flux modifier, but since your powers are already rolled randomly - which is basically what Power in Flux does, more or less - it's not usable for this game here. So if you have 2w of challenge, you get 2w of stones here and now. ^_^
