Constantine is one of my favorite characters ever. I would absolutely love to play as him if I could, but the one opportunity I had of doing so failed me as that game died in no time, and if I recall correctly - I think I asked this before - Rowlet is not a fan of the guy (or at least not enough to accept him as a PC), so I don't see that happening again anytime soon. At any rate, I felt like John was perfect to help Persephone figure out what's "wrong" with her.  Worry not, Ninja, your turn's coming tonight. ^_^ |

John Constantine is one of those characters who is really difficult to play as his general MO is to know more than the other guy. He is very much like Dr Who in that way. He's an excellent GM's tool but otherwise a pain in the ass.
I was really sad at the way his TV series was handled. The guy playing him was amazing. Sadly the plot writers clearly had no clue what they were doing.

Well, not that I mean to brag - I totally do, though - but our very own Wildknight once said I was one of the few people whom he'd trust to play a credible Batman, whose whole deal is exactly that. I'm fairly confident that I could do him justice, but until the stars align, I'll have to use him, as you said, as a GM's tool. XD

Manah I am going for a medical profession currently doing a rotation in a hospital in Florida. My county is currently getting 100+ new COVID cases a day. This is why I am not on as much as I used to be basically they are having us double up on everything and it is quite stressful. Couple that with the fact that even us students are having extra hours and workloads due to the fact that people keep having to leave due to getting the virus.

...Damn. Literally indeed.
I used to work in an hospital for a few months, in the archives. Turned out it wasn't for me, so I ended up changing career paths to something entirely different. I would not have been able to stay in the contect of this pandemic even if I was still there when it started, though, as both myself and my mother are more at risk of dying from it.

lilithsboy, just wanted to clarify a little something. Most of the time, the voices in Justin's mind are fairly silent. A distant voice here, a near silent whisper there. Sometimes they feel like he's just thinking about something himself, but a moment later he realized that wasn't him thinking that. They tend to speak up in certain situations or in response to external/internal stimuli, if Justin speaks to them himself whether with his voice or his thoughts, or if they have something specific to say. Otherwise, it's no more overwhelming than hearing some people chatting on the other side of a restaurant you're one of the few customers in. When they do talk more directly is when it gets more noticeable, as it feels like several different people talking to him in different tones, voices, with varying emotions, and some overlapping the others. It's not so deafening that he can't hear what someone would be telling him if, say, someone normal spoke to him at the same time, but it can be distracting then. However, most of the time, the voices speak after someone speaks, not at the same time, sometimes commenting what people say and what Justin might be thinking about it.

I hate to admit it, but I guess so. I was hoping to get it back on track when things would settle down, but there's always something else coming up in RL to drain my energy and leave me with no creative juice. I think it would be wiser to admit that I'm probably in no state to be keeping a large game active at all at the moment. I'm sorry for letting you down.
