"Take it one step at a time", Peter said with a nod. "Makes things a lot easier." The group sat in the multiple seats available on the fairly large aircraft, which turned out to be surprisingly comfortable. Scott and Jean sat in the pilot and copilot seats up front, with the others however they pleased. "I imagine you have many questions", Suresh said, sitting next to Mike and David. "...Perhaps I can lighten the professor's workload by answering some of them myself?" he offered. (OOC: i.e: Either you ask some questions here, or I fast forward to the arrival at the Xavier estate. )

"As of right now...I don't really have any questions. You guys kinda already explained everything to me. The only thing I really have right now is just my abilities. How to control them, and things of that nature. Everything else, like what I do from here on out, is kinda up to me. But, I'll take Peter's advice and go one step at a time for now. I'd just like to figure out my ability for the time being, that will be my first step." He said to Suresh.
(OOC: We can fast forward to the professor should anything else come up.)

"Very well. Probably for the best", Suresh agreed, nodding.
Aside from small talk and some jokes exchanged between some of the more cheerful of his companions, the group didn't speak much more as the X-Jet made its way towards the Xavier mansion, soon enough arriving to its destination. Cyclops landed the aircraft on a platform just outside a beautiful mansion with a massive front, and back yards, trees, fountains, and so on. The area simply seemed heavenly, like a very wealthy private school, although as Mike and the others stepped out of the jet, he could see a whole bunch of unusual things. Kids teleporting around, one playing at controlling the water of the large fountain in front of the school, a couple more flying around over the mansion...
"It's over here", Cyclops said, leading the group through the main entrance and further inside. "I'll accompany you to the professor's office", he said as the other members of the team left, with the exception of Suresh and David.
Scott walked up to a large wooden door - the inside of the mansion looking even nicer than the outside - and a warm, calm voice responded before he even had the chance to knock: "Come in, Scott."
He nodded, opening the door, and letting Suresh, Mike and David inside, where they were met by a bald man in a rather classy three pieces suit, sitting in a wheelchair at a large desk, with empty, comfy looking chairs in front of him.
"Welcome to the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters, Mr. Miller, Mr. Checks. Please, have a seat... we have much to talk about."

"We have a lot to talk about indeed.." Mike says sitting down. "I was told you'd have some answers for me. About my power, or maybe just more about me. I'm still a bit lost when it comes to everything, but I feel like mentally I'm getting a better hold of it. I just would like to bridge the gaps is all." Mike simply said.

"That is correct", Xavier said, nodding. "I would not be so bold as to claim I hold all the answers, but I certainly have several. For example, I could tell you exactly what your abilities are, if you only give me the opportunity to run a few tests. Far be it from me to brag about it, but I'm well recognized as an authority in genetic sciences, especially on mutants, as you might have guessed from one who would put together a school specifically for them. Or rather, for us."
"That's crazy", David said. "I never thought there'd be that many."
"There actually are many more, but we do what we can with what resources we have. That being said, we can discuss the rest of the world later. Right now, Mr. Miller... or should I call you Michael? I believe we should focus on you, and what you want out of this meeting. I can give you the answers you seek to the best of my capabilities, and send you back on your way. Or I could offer you more, such as training in controlling and mastering your powers, as well as support in dealing with your new nature as a mutant. I could offer you more should you so please, as we do our very best here to prepare mutants to either use their powers for good, or to live as normal a life as they please despite, or perhaps with the help of, their special abilities. I suppose the main question I have is, what is it that you want?"

"Mr. Miller will do. And, well.." Mike started. "I suppose I'd want to find out EXACTLY I have going on with me. What powers I have, and what I can do. Once I find that out, I suppose I can give you a full answer. Maybe I could stick around here and help others like you said. The others helped me out of my situation with that weird guy who attacked me, so I guess I'd like to do the same for others if I had the opportunity." He said.
"But again, first thing's first. I'd like to find out exactly what I'm working with.."

"Excellent. In that case, if it's alright with you, we'd need to run a few tests. Would you please accompany Scott? He will show you the way to our infirmary, where Jean and Doctor McCoy will take care of said tests. Just... if you'd be so kind as to not judge a book by its cover, Dr. McCoy does not exactly have a typical appearance, and yet I assure you I have the utmost confidence in his competences."

"That's understandable. I won't judge, obviously I can't what with this power and all.." He shrugged. "Lead the way, sir." Mike nodded to Scott.

"Not everyone would be so wise as to say the same. It is much appreciated in these troubled times", the professor said with a smile as they left.
"Oh, please. Just call me Scott, or Cyclops", the team leader said, chuckling. "...'Sir' was my father."
Whatever Mike's response, if any, Scott led him through the school to a door which apparently required fingerprints, and a vocal recognition sample to allow them in, as he pressed his hand onto a screen while stating: "Scott Summers."
Sure enough, the door slid aside, letting them inside the metallic elevator which soon led them below the ground level.
"The X-Men operate from below the mansion, which house our true headquarters. It may not look like it at a first glance from the outside, but we have technology far exceeding that of most military forces. The professor's fortune and some of our tech specialists made sure of that", he explained, as the doors of the elevator opened to reveal metallic floors and walls of a large corridor that lead to others and various doors, some of which were accessible only with similar security procedures as the elevator itself. "Hank - or Doctor McCoy, as you currently know him - works in the medical and research lab over here. Jean should be with him already, readying the equipment so we can find out exactly what abilities you have."
He opened the door leading to the lab in question... inside of which he saw a 5'11", wide-shouldered, blue-furred gorilla/feline/humanoid hybrid, examining a file with his blue, keen eyes from behind a pair of small glasses, and wearing a white-buttoned shirt, dress pants, and huge black shoes, the document seemingly tiny in his large hands, with Jean standing by his side.
"Welcome to our laboratory, Mike. Allow me to introduce you to our second resident specialist on all things mutantkind aside from the professor... Doctor Henry McCoy, also known as Beast", Jean said warmly.
"Go ahead, say whatever you have on your mind, boy", Hank said, amused by Mike's reaction. "...It gets easier when you let it all out. I promise I won't bite."

"High security over here. I can appreciate something like that. It could make someone feel safe."
"Woof. When the professor warned me, I was expecting someone big, which is accurate. But...blue and furry huh? I guess I was expecting a little more hah.." He laughed. "I'm no one to judge, Doctor. We're all mutants apparently. Had I seen you a week ago I think I might have freaked out, but this is the norm now, this is reality as it is. Mutants exist, and we should all work together to help each other." He nodded looking at the equipment. "So Doc, tell me how this stuff is gonna help me find my gift. I'm..kinda nervous because my power I guess is weather related? I'm not sure how to test for that.."

"Hahahah. Well... to be fair, some of this unusual appearance is somewhat my own fault", the blue-furred mutant admitted. "I sort of messed with my own genetics as part of an experiment, which... succeeded a bit more than I had intended, with the side effects you see before you", McCoy explained.
"Of course. We'll just run a basic series of tests, including a blood one if you would be so kind as to let us, just to see if your metabolism and vitals are altered in any way by your new powers. As for figuring out your powers themselves, I have... this", he said, showing him a handheld device looking like a cross between an hair dryer and a tablet computer.
"A colleague of mine, who happens to be far more talented with advanced technology than I have ever been, created this device, which is essentially an highly-advanced scanner capable of detecting and analyzing mutations in bearers of the X Gene, the one genetical element differentiating us from normal humans. It'll be quite simple and very much harmless, if you're still willing to subject yourself to it?" he asked.

"Some blood huh? I'm not shy to give some out. Take what you need." He said, as he then looked at the hair dryer/tablet thing-a-ma-bob.
"Scan away doc. To understand myself I need to know what I'm capable of. ..Plus I don't want to accidentally use my powers to hurt someone or something. That'd be pretty bad."

"You got it, Mr. Miller", McCoy said, smiling with his feline features as he proceeded to run the various tests they had in store for him.
The whole process took about twenty minutes. Most of them were average stuff... the blood test, checking his temperature, checking his pressure, etc. Soon enough ending with McCoy scanning him with the dryer-like device.
"Well?" Jean asked as she reviewed the test results.
"It's very interesting", the doctor said as he consulted the screen on the device. "...Well... for starters, as it turns out, your powers are not merely limited to the ability to control the weather. Look at this", he said, giving him a handheld mirror as he removed the bandage covering the wound inflicted upon him by Sylar back in his home... and no wound, nor even a scar, could be seen. It was like he had never been hurt at all.
"Apparently, your body is now downright made from the very same energy you use to control the weather. You do not merely control it... it's like you are it. Also... it's not merely the weather. According to the scanner, you can also control electromagnetic energy in general", he explained.
(OOC: So, yeah, you're sort of a mix between Storm and Magneto. XD)

(OOC: Well....seeing how Magneto is my #1 favorite Marvel character ever, I am very pleased. ) "Uhh.." Mike said trying to take in all the information about this at once. "Science has always been my worst subject in school, and I never really expanded on my knowledge of it. Really wish I had some sort of idea of what this really is. ..I don't wanna sound stupid, but is there a 'in layman's terms' version of that..?" He asked. "Or perhaps a safe way for me to test it somehow?"

McCoy smiled, nodding. "You can manipulate electricity in such a manner as to also affect weather and magnetic fields, and are basically made out of that same energy as opposed to what people are usually made of", he said with amusement. "And yes, of course... we have a way for you to try it out, if you want. A... training room, of sorts... if you're interested", he said, before explaining his abilities in more details, yet as simply as he could.
