Since the guy is certainly going to rat him out any second Justin does the only thing he can do, go for the nuclear option. Winding up he aims a punch intended to knock the guy out in one hit hoping it works.

(OOC: You have Melee Combat as opposed to Unarmed, so you can't put 8 in it to throw a punch. I assume you would nonetheless use 5 in Agility to try and achieve the same results, so I will go with it.)
While his training was mostly focused on armed combat, the former cop could still throw a punch with the best of them when necessary, and so he did just that. Luckily, his fist connected with the man's jaw, hard enough that the man tripped from the impact and collapsed, knocked out.
Interestingly enough, it seems that as busy as they were searching the boxes, the other criminals had failed to notice anything.

Justin successfully managed to put the man out of sight, and resumed his search stealthily.
As luck would have it, he eventually came across a strange, metallic, black casket... with strange engravings, seemingly glowing faintly with greenish-white light in the darkness of the cardboard box he found it in. As he was about to reach for it, however... his luck ran out.
"Looks like we have a little rat among us", said the cold, dry voice of the bandaged man in the trenchcoat, who was holding a silenced semi-automatic 9mm pistol at the former cop. "Have you found something interesting, boy? ...Care to step away from that box?"

Sighing Justin raises his hands, stands up, and steps away from the box. He works to remain neutral but is ploting an escape route in his head and observing anything around him.

Before he has a chance to begin thinking of an escape plan, and before the bandaged man or his goons have the time to reach for the box holding the mysterious casket... a large skylight in the ceiling suddenly shatters in a thousand pieces, glass raining down around them, as a black as night figure descends into the room along with heavy smoke... a black figure sort of shaped like a man-sized bat! "What are you waiting for, you idiots?! Shoot it! Take it down!" the leader of the criminals yells as he raises his own weapon and backs away to get cover, while the 'bat' slams into two of the thugs, vanishing into the thick smoke quickly filling the room, leaving Justin free to react... as but a single one of the thugs still could see him in the chaos! "H-Hey! Don't-" he let out, attempting to get to the box.

(OOC: Since you didn't put stones in Speed, you can only move at 5mph for this panel, which I'll rule as being due to having to maneuver around boxes and tables with the smoke filling the room.)
With gunshots resounding behind him along with the sound of punches being thrown, Justin successfully grabbed the black casket and began heading out. Unfortunately, due to having to get around some of the boxes and tables to get to a clear path to get the heck out.
Which incidentally meant the thug coming after him was able to attempt to pistol-whip the former cop into unconsciousness. Luckily, Justin was no stranger to close quarters combat, and managed to roll with the attack, only taking a light hit. (OOC: Take 1w of damage.)
"You give that damn thing back, you piece of sh*t!"

Pissed Justin whips around "Take it" he says and proceeds to bash the guy in the head with the hard case (using both hands to ensure it stays closed) Before running off through the smoke back the way he had come.

Few things happening this time even though it was a short post.
1. Close combat 3+W mod with Improvised weapons specialty. (moving 2 into defense)
2. Speed 2 (which gives him his max of 40MPH)
3. Due to the use of concentration last turn, he should have found a clear path he is going to take it at breakneck speed using his photographic memory despite the smoke and increasing chaos.

Justin successfully managed to knock the thug out with the small but solid casket, before successfully rushing out of there. Already, as he made it outside, he could hear sirens heading towards the museum!

Grabbing his smart phone and turning it to the police scanner ap he has Justin, places it in his pocket and puts the earbud in his left ear before screeching away on his motorcycle. He uses his knowledge of the city from the air once again to map out the best route out of there and the information from the scanner on how they are coordinating to tell him the best way to avoid issues. He does his best to avoid being seen by any cops.
************ Actions
Vehicle operations 3 (For when you are serious about getting out and getting out well)
Concentration 2 (he is hearing information from the scanner, coordinating that with what he is physically hearing, remembering, while driving, concentration just seems right here.
Modifiers
Photographic memory city map basically
Items used
Smartphone for police scanner (The gps is turned off there is a reason he has a gps separate)
Bike for GTFO

The former cop turned vigilante made his escape as police sirens closed in on the museum, their noise going weaker as he made his escape. There were a couple of close calls, but he managed to get out of the area without being spotted, the black casket still in his possession as he rode away.

Justin moves through the city eventually making it to his place, he gets ready to leave a note for the bat but realizes he does not even know what he got. He sits at his rickety kitchen table, and finally opens the casket, he needs to understand what he got so 1. he knows what sort of game Tricks had got himself into, and 2. so that he could figure out the best way to return it without raising suspicion for himself.

As soon as he opened the small chest, he found himself unable to get his eyes off of what he saw inside. It was as though he was drawn to its content by some unseen force... as he could hear whispered voices all around him for an instant without being able to understand a word they said. It only lasted an instant, however. Or had it even happened at all? ...He couldn't help but feel like he had imagined it all. It was all back to normal now, either way.
And in the casket... he found a single, black, perfectly spherical, flawless pearl... the size of a tangerine. That thing had to be worth hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of dollars, no doubt.

Shaking his head and wondering if he got an injury in the fight he looks in at the black pear and whistles. He is going to have to get creative in how to return this item he inspects the case for any alarms or trackers before reaching in to inspect the pearl itself and gauge its weight.
