OOC Dex 9 + 17 (26) vs highest chance to spot... Int 8 + Roll(2d12)+0: 3,5,+0 Total: 16
Dex 9 +4 EV (13) vs RV 5= 8 RAPs. Success. Hopefully...
Green Arrow took his time and sneaked low and steady around the building. Near the loading bay he leaned in. Gently prising his fingers under the shutter he prayed, and lifted...
... it lifted! Slightly.
With a quick glance about he raised it as much as he could, propped it on a shoulder and slipped his bow through, then shimmied into the narrow gap. It seemed it may be in need of maintenance and several dents suggested it had a whack or two when loading. Finally! A break!
The place was full of wooden box crates, several feet square. Chinese markings, shipping labels for Seattle. The place was well lit but with crates stacked high cast a lot of shadows. He heard talking elsewhere in the warehouse, probably near the side entrance he'd bungled the entrance to the other day. Without a crow bar it would be near impossible to prise a lid off one of the crates, and he'd have to pick one at the top anyway. A glance... stacked high, twenty feet or more.
They were solid looking things and looked well able to support his weight if he wanted to climb. A glance back at the loading bay door reveals it would be difficult to open from the inside without pulling on the chain and therefore making a LOT of noise. So far... with the absence of alarms... he assumed he'd gotten in alright.
Still, that feeling...
Where next? Onto the crates for a look down on the length and breadth of the warehouse or stay at ground level to sneak about...?

The Green Arrow moves silently, hiding in shadows to reach a spot closer to the conversation. Hopefully, it's not just two guards chatting about last week's Seahawks game.

OOC Perception check vs GA...
Int 6 + Roll(2d12)+0: 10,7,+0 Total: 23 vs Dex 9 + 19 (28)
He's in the clear.Moving stealthily through the warehouse he settled down and closed his eyes to sharpen his hearing slightly."...beefed up and the security has been tightened. We're moving stock to the other site and have contacted the buyers to speed things up. We may take a hit for rushing them but the boss says best to be safe than sorry. You and the other guy are here to make things go a little smoother." There was a pause then an accented woman's voice spoke up. "We are watching the place. Don't worry about security. Make sure there are no slip ups at your end and we will do our job." "Hey lady, there's no chance of slip ups, we're too close now to securing the deal. We're paying you guys big bucks and..." "You were lucky we were available and that my partner knows your Boss from old. I diverted from another job to take this and you have my undivided attention for several days. Use it wisely." Another pause. "There's no need to ruffle anyone's feathers. We're on the same side. It's just... there's a lot riding on this and we could score big if it comes off." "And the other night?" "We took care of that... it got messy though. Cops are on it but we'll be gone before any flatfoot pokes around here..." "What about the mask seen at the station?" "That's why you're here..." Green Arrow settled back. That feeling of being watched. His instincts may just be right, which might mean the whole camp is being viewed by someone else - the partner of whoever is behind these crates. He risked a peek when he heard footsteps. She was dressed in Green, the trench coat discarded. Beautiful, oriental, dangerous looking. He'd not seen her before but there was something ... He wondered why he might know of this woman. OOC That would take an intelligence check on GA's part..."If Green Arrow does show up here, he'll wish he hadn't... Because..."

Oliver now knows that there is something fishy going on, but that's not evidence enough for Cameron. These crates are closed up good and now that he knows where at least one enforcer is, he wants to put a little distance between himself and this woman. He sneaks around back to the same warehouse door he entered through, careful to not be spotted by any cameras. Maybe the second hired gun is at a monitor station. That could explain his feeling like he's being watched.
He struck out at the business office before, but maybe there are papers in the garage, cataloging what inventory is being loaded on these trucks. He decides to check it out.

OOC Those doors are making a lot of noise from the inside because you have to pull on heavy clanking chains that will rattle and clatter no matter how careful you are! That said, a world class thief has as much - better even - chance than anyone of pulling it off!
Int 6 + modifier +4 + Roll(2d12)+0: 10,8,+0 Total:28 vs Dex 9 + 23 (32)
Success!
With a sigh of relief Green Arrow sneaks back outside. The noise generated by the wind clattering chains against metal roller shutter doors is enough to mask the slow raising of the door to sneak out.
It takes a couple of minutes of waiting but that's half the battle - patience!
Making his way over to the garage he sees there are three guards there. The handguns are still in holsters but these three men - ex military he guesses from the alert stance and easy way they handle the uzis in hand 'Uzis? these guys meant business!' he thinks. Two of the guards look ready to walk on, the other is standing guard.
He can't get too close to the garage without having to climb on the roof of the garage itself. There was a skylight there. He can do that, but a glance up there alerts some instinct... hairs on the back of his neck perhaps... that's he's exposed. That uneasy feeling is back. Maybe it's that John is watching and that's what he's feeling? No. He's done this too long. The woman and the partner she mentioned were out there. Every moment he stayed in this compound gave him an increasing sense of unease. This place was on high alert.
A glance on the garage roof.
If he were a sniper it would give him as clean a shot as he ever needed. Looking about in the darkness confirmed this. His dark green was in shadow and hard to spot. On the roof he'd stick out like a sore thumb, but it was his best, perhaps only chance of getting a closer look at the manifest and found out vital things - like where it was heading, numbers and things Cameron could track and investigate.
The office remained his best bet but there were other warehouses to investigate.
He was reminded of the shrinking time window as the lorry entered the compound and started driving around to get to a point where it could back up against the loading doors of a warehouse. A glance shows distant lights - another lorry. Things were starting to move! He was running out of time!

Oliver knows the business office is his best bet for information, but insanity is trying the same thing and expecting different results, so he's going for the second best bet, the garage. He climbs to the roof and hopes he can down through the skylight before he's spotted. At least this put some distance between him and the female mercenary in the warehouse if he is spotted.

OOC Dex 9 + 37 (46) vs OV12 + Roll(2d12)+0: 7,12,+0 Total: 31
+5 EV (to Dex 9 = 14) vs 12 RV = 2 RAPs. SUCCESSGreen Arrow launches at the drainpipe, scales it then ducks low and fast to the skylight which is a plastic cover... He hits it feet first but catches it as it punches through into the garage below and twists in mid air to land in a crouch from a drop of some twenty feet... He hadn't a clue what he was dropping into but ... he'd done it! Noise? Well, there may have been some but the guards will be looking outside for it and see nothing.. because he was inside the garage now! Moving quickly he looked about. Tools for working on vehicles, spare parts, tyres, a stack of paperwork... ah. The trucks being used were rentals on long term lease from a company called Speedy Haul Seattle. And... what's this? Another address. It was a small shipping & handling place with lock ups in Belle Vue slightly away from Seattle. Another lead to go on for sure and if it got too hot here ... well he could check that out. And he might just get the drop on them... Looking about he figured it wouldn't be too hard to get up in the rafters of the garage and to the skylight, but he might be better off waiting until the traffic and alert status of those outside die down. The Garage was locked up and not in use at the moment so it may be a safe bet to lie low here...

Oliver decides to look for clues. Are there any traces of drugs in the garage or any invoice papers. Were any cargo boxes left behind? He does this quietly, listening out for anyone approaching so he can hide in a flash if necessary.
