The Grey Gargoyle stomps toward Captain Marvel and reaches out with his right hand to touch her, but only makes contact with her intangible energy form. A moment later, the ghostly Vision floats about the Grey Gargoyle's head, obscuring the villain from seeing Starfox's decelerated approach.
"You can't stay untouchable forever, Avengers. And when you turn solid, I'll make sure you stay that way...permanently! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!"

 Starfox slowed to a halt in air and hovered some thirty feet over the Grey Gargoyle. Hopefully the villain couldn't jump that high but Eros might have trouble affecting the bad guy if he was any further away. It was just his luck the Grey Gargoyle was a garlic munching fellow and not some drop dead gorgeous femme fatale. ACTIONS
Here we go, AGILITY feat to slow to a dead stop.

[/quote] Yes, you have time to take a non-movement action. The mental tickle only works on those in the same area as Starfox. A floor is about 10 feet, so 30 feet up will be 2 areas away. |

Having screeched to a halt Starfox then floats down behind the villain to hover about ten feet over his head (OOC but slightly behind him so hopefully he won't turn round and jump at me). ACTIONS
Float down behind the villain till he's about ten foot above him. If GG turns and leaps at Starfox will evade/dodge/get the heck out of the way!

Monica sees Vision turn solid above Gray Gargoyle and tries to set his attack up- turning to flesh herself, she takes a deep breath and tries to fire a blast at Grey Gargoyle's eyes- only two words whispering from her mouth as she does so:
"Lights out."
Spending as much Karma as needed to get a bullseye on his eyes.

The Grey Gargoyle lunges out of the way of the Vision as the hero tries to get the drop on him, literally. He then leaps with an outstretched hand toward Starfox, but is momentarily blinded by Captain Marvel, making it easy for Eros to dodge out of the way.
Suddenly, Captain America's shield and one of the Scarlet Witch's Hex Bolts Strike the Grey Gargoyle as the villain finishes his leap. These actions knock him off-balance and his outstretched hand plummets into the marsh just before the ground beneath the Grey Gargoyle turns to stone, locking his arm in the ground.
The Scarlet Witch still has the headset, but she fired her hex bolt from a distance and the Grey Gargoyle might free himself before she can reach him to place the device over his head and activate it.
NOTE: Captain America and the Scarlet Witch will not be able to take their next action until after the Grey Gargoyle's next turn. But Captain Marvel, Starfox and the Vision may all take their next turn before The Grey Gargoyle.

Starfox floats down to the Grey Gargoyle and tries to hold the villain down. He has no idea how strong the french felon (OOC He is French isn't he?) is but the plan is to push him down into the marsh where his hands have nothing to grab onto and keep him restrained for one of the others to strike him. ACTIONS
Float down to the Villain and wrestle him with attention to restrain his arms and keep that stone touch away from the Eternal!

OOC Arrggh. I thought that was a good roll until I see how hard it is to grapple anyone in this game. White/Green are miss and Yellow only a partial grab? Wish I'd used karma/looked at the table BEFORE I rolled. Anyway, let's see what transpires...

The Vision's laser misses its target, as Starfox puts the Grey Gargoyle in a partial hold.
"Casse-toi!" the villain exclaims, which is the French equivalent of “get lost!” or “bugger off.”
Captain Marvel then charges him in energy form, causing the Frenchman to retort, “Tu parles français comme une vache espagnole!” [Translation: You speak French like a Spanish cow!]
The Grey Gargoyle then tries to free himself, but to no avail. Captain America then admonishes the villain saying, "Language!" and strikes him with his shield.
The Scarlet Witch stands ready to place the headset onto The Grey Gargoyle as soon as the other Avengers take him down.

Starfox maintains the hold and hopes Vision grabs the other arm. When the bad guy is restrained then the Scarlet Witch can apply the headset and no one gets zapped (OOC or whatever Grey Gargoyle does - it's been a while). He hopes. ACTIONS
