"I would allow the Scarlet Witch to use her power to reveal my true identity, but..." the figure claiming to be Immortus says to the Vision, gesturing at the stone figure that is Wanda Maximoff. He then addresses Starfox. "Only one means is available to defeat Kang and undo his mischief: the chronatron. This time-rending weapon is locked in the eternal fortress, in the Omega dimension. I cannot tell you about the eternal fortress, because I do not know what lies inside."
"The Omega dimension is a dead-end in time, where all life has been extinguished." Stretching out his hand, he offers a strange device to Captain Marvel. "Take this with you -- it will allow you to understand the speech of the beings who built the fortress. I will instruct you in the chronatron's use when you return. But if you would go, you must leave now, before Kang's curiosity overcomes him."
Captain America urges you to go, volunteering to stay behind to protect the Scarlet Witch.

Captain Marvel briefly reaches for the device in Immortus' grasp... then looks back at Vision and Starfox holding the Gargoyle. As wonderful as it would be to have an instant solution to this whole mess and treat it like a bad dream... it feels too good to be true. And the choice is too crucial for her to decide alone.
"It's your call, Vision."

I suspect you don't have neural dreamweavers to put them into a state of happiness and keep them sedated in a relatively low security environment." asked Starfox. "What about you, eh fellow? We have proven to be your betters, now what do you intend? Or do you need to be rendered unconscious and wake in a cell with the appropriate authorities holding you captive?" "Villainy. It never pays." Though he was jovial Starfox was troubled. Depending on who the Avengers trusted it seemed they were being used as unwitting pawns in some far larger game. ACTIONS

The Grey Gargoyle answers Starfox saying, "I intend to return home to the apartment I rented in New York months ago."The Vision remembers fighting against the Grey Gargoyle in an apartment when the Avengers were on trial as a national security risk. Without the publicity from their victory over the Grey Gargoyle, the Avengers would have been forcibly disbanded by the courts! OOC: For defeating the Grey Gargoyle and believing Immortus, the Avengers earn 90 Karma! (30 each for the three remaining players.) After the Avengers agree to enter the eternal fortress, Immortus sends Starfox, Vision, and Captain Marvel to the Omega dimension. Captain Marvel Health: 20/60

Vision wastes no time issuing orders. "Starfox wait here for the moment. Captain Marvel and I shall scout ahead." Vision says lowering his density to nothing and flying forward through the walls to try and access the threats up ahead.

Vision and Captain Marvel find that the outer walls are impenetrable to even their immaterial forms. Starfox is able to catch up and go with them toward a large rotunda. The walls are covered with geometric patterns and etchings. There are doors to the west, north-east and south-east. More importantly, in the center of this circular room, sitting on a throne that resembles a demolished planet, is Galactus, the Planet Eater!"This place is not for creatures such as yourselves. OOC Apologies for the absence, have been on holiday. My plan to update the game I play in and run was kinda kyboshed by the naff internet connection and need to constantly entertain my son (which is fun but takes up all the time and wears me out! Plus I got my ass kicked in pretty much every card game we played...doh.) So much for my plan. Anyway, I'm on a mission to catch up. Eros of Titan gapes. "That... that is Galactus" he splutters, stating the obvious. "We can't... there's... no power I know of can..." He gulps, taking in the scene, then turns to the others. "There is no fighting Galactus. To us we are less than... than gnats!" He sucks in a deep breath then stands up straighter. "No. I am an Avenger!" "GREAT GALACTUS!" he calls out. "We are the AVENGERS, on a mission to save all of time itself! If we fail, even such as you might be affected!" he glances at his fellow Avengers then continues. "I do not mean to intrude on your business Great One but... what do you here?" he asked, looked about and wondering why Galactus was here instead of somewhere else, sucking a planet dry... ACTIONS
If need be (like it would make any difference) go on full defensive, dodge, dodge, dodge...

Sensing a battle approaching, Captain Marvel turns into light and addresses the Deadly Deity (hoping to draw his attention and at least give Starfox and Vision a free shot if need be- since her nonsolid form should be more than capable of withstanding an attack).
"What Starfox said- we come in peace! To talk, not to fight!"
Actions: Monica shall also go on the defensive like Starfox.
