"Oh, sorry ma'am. Thanks for the clarification. I'll do some looking at these bars then. Thanks again."
With that Solomon left the woman's home glad that she had clarified his mistake. Perhaps a little schmoozing with the locals at the bars would be appropriate. I wonder what the legal drinking age is in this country. Probably older than three years old any way. Man I wish I still had some of that money that I gave to those kids. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. What was I thinking? Oh well, I'll just have to make do, Solomon thought to himself.
As he journeyed to the south side of the town where the bars were located he looked for a good place to observe one of the bars, probably the roof of a house.

Solomon flew up high before moving a small distance and then dropping back down again. As he circled lower he saw an ATM machine near to one of the Gambian banks, within no time he was near to the area that the woman had pointed him to- the area had a large selection of bars near the outskirts of the city- not exactly where the tourists might go, but certainly where the locals would. As he looked around he noticed a little excited chatter and an unusual amount looking into the sky, but nothing truly out of the ordinary as the sun began its slow descent.

Solomon looked around trying to see if anything out of the ordinary was in the sky. Had they seen me as I came in? I hope not. As the sun continued its descent Solomon made himself comfortable on top of the roof and continued his lonely vigil.

Solomon looked into the sky, but he could see nothing out of the ordinary. Though as he looked around he did notice that there were quite a lot of people doing it, often in groups, and often with binoculars or telescopes.

Well maybe it's time to get a closer look myself. Solomon wasn't quite sure what to expect. Could this be what was kidnapping the people. Soloman was instantly nervous. He had come to Africa expecting something a little more mundane than this. What would attract so much attention from the people of this city? It was time to find out.
Shedding his mostly ineffectual disguise Solomon rose into the sky in the general direction the people appeared to be looking. Probably best to be prepared for whatever is up here he thought. He readied himself for danger.
In the back of his mind however he couldn't help but think about his father. He had died high above the earth. The Amii' had left him no choice. In order to save the world David had chose to die but it was a choice that David would have made again if he could. As he rose high Solomon wondered if he would be able to make a similar choice if the situation demanded it.

Solomon lifted off into the air, taking off in a southward direction- the one in which the people had been looking. He flew high, but despite travelling quickly and covering quite an area he saw nothing out-of-the-ordinary.

Well that's odd, thought Solomon. Maybe I should get a look through some of those binoculars.
Solomon heads toward the ground. As he approaches he identifies himself to a member of the crowd with a nice looking telescope.
"Sir, my name is Solomon Davies and I am investigating the disappearances in the area. Can I see what everyone is looking at?"

Solomon landed next to one of the people using binoculars to look into the sky. As he asked if he could borrow the binoculars from one of the men a few more people began to look up into the sky, occasionally they drifted off, looking for only a moment, some stayed longer, one even drew out a pad and pencil. "Sure you can, know what you're looking for?" the man asked as he handed over the pair of binoculars. Solomon couldn't see anything through it that he hadn't seen in the sky.

"To be honest I'm not exactly sure," said Solomon. "Any help you could give me would be appreciated. Also any information you could give me on the people who have dissappeared in the this area lately would be of great help."

The man gave Solomon a helpful smile, then he pointed to a point in the sky, "Just over a year ago we saw a meteroite in the sky, large and glowing green rather than white. Ever since then people have been looking into the sky for another like it- it was such a weird occurence and no scientist can explain why, or even find any data that suggests there was one. But yeah, people started disappearing about a week after that. Doubt there's a link though- people disappear all the time.

Glowing green, thought Solomon. What could cause a meteorite to glow green? Thinking about that for a moment he continued his conversation with the man.
"Could you tell me any more about those disappearances? I'm a member of the Guard and on an official investigation. If you know anyone or anything else we might be able to stop these disappearances.

There wereplenty of things that could cause a green burning- Solomon knew that- different chemical compunds had green flames, though the chances of a meteorite containing enough of them to ignite in such a way. "I don't really know that much- people have just been disappearing, nothing really out of the ordinary- I haven't payed them much attention."

"Thank you, sir you've been helpful."
Solomon turned away from the man he retrieved his "disguise" and began to mill around the area looking for clues to the disappearances. He will stay here through the night looking for clues and watching to see if anything strange happens.
If nothing happens tonight I'll try something different in the morning he thinks to himself.

Solomon waited around, observing the bars carefully- his superhuman endurance would allow him to wait for a long time- though his intellect would end up boring him senseless long before his body failed him. Luckily he didn't have to wait long, it was perhaps two hours before he heard the sounds of screams, lasting for a few seconds, and then suddenly he saw a flash of purple light- and then all was quiet again.

At the sound of the screaming Solomon whirled around. Taking to the air he began to make his way to the directions that the screams came. The purple light made him nervous. What kind of thing attacks someone using a purple light? The answer escaped him. This is all too weird. As soon as he had something to report he would have to get a hold of the Guard and let them know what was going on.
