Solomon took to the air and flew in the direction of the flash and scream, he was there within seconds and he saw two humanoid figures, their eyes gowling purple, dragging a large hovering sled behind them. On the sled's back, behind two seats on the cargo platform was a third humanoid shape- completely inert. One of the purple eye sets turned and looked at Solomon, a few moments of silent communication was passed between them before they released the sled which continued to move along, now under it's own power, making more noise than before, while the other two pointed their right arms at Solomon, small purple eliples glowing from the tops of their wrists, larger rifles hanging more loosely from the back of their left arms.

"Whoa fellas! What's going on here? Did I miss the invite? I'd really like to talk to you fellas and see if we can't work out a solution that doesn't involve shooting me." Solomon was pretty sure that these humanoid figures probably wouldn't understand what he was saying but still it was hard to remain silent with what he had just seen.
Solomon is pretty sure that them pointing their glowing purple wrists at him can't be a good thing. He prepared to defend himself should they start shooting.

As Solomon began to talk to two Humanoid figures the sled began to move off, picking up speed, sliding along the ground at an ever increasing pace. As it did the two figures snapped off a shot of purple energy at Solomon. The two crackling balls of energy slammed into his chest and he felt their stunning energy ripple through him, throwing his alien physiology out of whack. (OOC 6 Red energy loss) As he reeled they turned and sprinted off, their suits allowing them to take strides of inhuman speed, following after the sled.

Solomon nearly dropped to his knees. What was that? It takes quite a bit to put me down. It appears that these two aren't just out to see the local sites. I'd better tail them just to make sure that they don't hurt anyone else. Right now Solomon has a lot more questions than answers. First things first. Solomon begins to scan the area to see if there are any civilians in immediate danger. As he scans he begins thinking to himself. It seems like these guys have some kind of mental communication going on between them. Great. I love telepaths. I need to get ahold of the Guard and let them know what is happening.
(OOC: if you think it's appropriate for Solomon to have a communicator then he will do the following. What do their suits look like anyway?)
"Legend to Guard HQ. I am taking fire. Repeat I am taking fire but I appear to be unharmed. I think I have a lead on our disappearances. Looks like we've got some visitors. I don't recognize these beings. They are humanoid and appear to be wearing some sort of suit. Their weapons seem to be able to disrupt my body's natural opperation. I don't think I'm injured but I do feel very drained. I am continuing pursuit. Please advise."
(OOC: if he doesn't have a communicator he will just follow the humanoid beings.)
Action #1 4 stones in flight to follow our energy firing friends from a relatively safe distance. (3 shifted to defense to dodge any more purple energy fired at me)

As Solomon took off after the two humanoids in armour he checked that there was nobody else hurt aside from their single unmoving captive. As he radioed back to HQ the two figures leapt onto the sled, taking a seat each at it's very front and beginning to work the control console, guiding it as it increased in speed. Their suits were weird, they almost looked like they were form-fitting, hugging the slightly lanky assailants bodies'. The helmet was slightly different, featureless save for the glowing eyes they provided a terrifying, deathly visage. There was no response from base- obviously they were still out on whatever mission they had been on before, the message would be recorded and logged, but he would get no immediate response.

Solomon wasn't that worried that HQ didn't respond. That was to be expected if everyone was out. Looks like I'm on my own. I can't very well let them kidnap this guy. I had better try to stop these two before they do anything stupid. Something about these guys just doesn't seem right. Let's see how their armour handles a fall. Hopefully the fall will stun them enough to let me get this guy back home.

Action #2 8 stones in close combat to knock the kidnappers from their sled (split 4 and 4 against each)

Solomon broke the sound barrier, leaving behind a sonic boom, however the sled had a head start on him, and it was increasing in speed, the sled increasing to twice, three-times the speed of sound, bursting up to five and six times the speed of sound, disappearing from his sight.

Noticing the speed of the sled Solomon increases his speed to try to match. This thing probably isn't from this world. He hadn't seen many pieces of tech like this although it wouldn't be out of the realm of possiblity for one of the Guard's Rouge's Gallery members to invent something like this. Still the weird suits, the high tech guns, these guys were probably off worlders. That was not unusual for the Guard as they had encountered a number of alien species in their adventures but it was hard for Solomon not to think about the Amii'. What if they had returned? David had died fighting them. What hope would he have?
As the sled continued to pull away Solomon decided to return to the town of Serrekunda. Their officials needed to know what was happening. On his way back Solomon filed a report with the Guard.
"Legend to HQ. I have evidence of a possible alien incursion. Please be advised that I am requesting assistance as soon as possible."
Solomon knew that his call would most likely fall on deaf ears but still better to be on the safe side.
Action #1 3 stones in flight to return to Serrekunda. 1 stone shifted to defense.
Action #2 1 stone in General Knowledge to find my way to a government building.

Solomon's report once again went unanswered, though it was almost certain that somebody would pick it up at some point, so even if something bad should happen to him at least they would know what had happened to him and where. He sped back to Serrekunda, the sprawling, bustling city surrounded by water. A few moments later and he was landing outside the nearest police station- it was quaint, it had the air of one of the classic British police stations, blue lanterns hanging outside it. However it did not fit the bill completely, it was run down, worn and obviously nearly forty years old.

Walking into the police station Solomon identifies himself by showing them his Guard communicator and ID card.
"Hello I am the Legend, a memeber of the Guard. I have been sent to your city to investigate the disappearances that have taken place in the last year. I was just assaulted by beings who I believe may be connected to those disappearances."
Over the next few minutes Solomon will tell his story to the police and ask them if they know of any reason the sled might have fled in the direction that it did. Are there any structures or places that might serve as a good place for hiding in that direction?
Action #1 3 stones in social skills to tell his story to the police and inquire about information on possible leads. (specialty in government officials)

The police in the station listened to Solomon for a few moments before going back about their business. They are overworked and understaffed and simply don't have the time to be concerned with a hundred disappearances from thousands as well as other crimes.

"AAARRRRGGGGHHH! This is ridiculous!" roared Solomon. "People are being kidnapped, I'm being shot at and nearly knocked unconscious, no body knows what's going on, and when I do finally bring you guys a credible lead you act like you're too busy!"
Solomon storms out of the police station in frustration. Moving as fast as he can back in the direction where he last saw the sled he begins to climb into the sky and scower the landscape for any signs or evidence of his sled riding kidnappers.
What am I doing wrong he asks himself. I'm doing the best that I can and every thing I do is just not enough. David never had these problems. Everything he did always seemed to work out. What's wrong with me? Why can't I help these people?
Action #1 3 stones in flight to try and follow the sled or at least head in the direction where it was last seen
Action #2 3 stones in intelligence to look for clues to where the sled might have gone or been heading.

Solomon headed back out, looking for signs of a trail. Surprisingly once he had gotten to the area where he had lost it, the sled was very easy to follow. It may have moved quickly and hovered, but its anti-gravity system generated an unmistakable dirt pathway.

Solomon felt a little foolish. If he would have been paying attention he probably would have seen these tracks the first time around. Still now he had their trail and he was ready to follow them. Proceeding very catiously he moved forward at a good pace but careful enough to watch out for danger.
Action #1 3 stones in flight (1 shifted to defense) to follow the tracks

Solomon followed after the the tracks at a fairly slow, but careful pace. They carried on in a straight direction out of the city and well into the countryside.
