"What the hell, Webby! Watch where your pointing that thing. You could put someone's eye out. How's that door-oh good it's open. Might want to check what's on the other side before we go rushing out there," Ira says very calmly.

Webby drops the gun on the counter, and launches his fat frame over it in one smooth motion; amazing for a man of his build. He man handles one of the free standing tables into the air, and hauls it in the direction of the front door saying "Someone give me a hand with this--there are more of those, those, things out there!"
A quick glance out the front windows confirm his words, through the snow you see at least six more of the walking dead plodding towards the diner's front door.
Despite being dead, they too wear suits complete with vest and tie, for the men, and fancy dresses, for the women.
The old man, now shot, lies on the floor and while he is still awake he gasps for breath and clutches at his right shoulder with his left hand, blood seeping through the cracks between his fingers.

***I'm a little confused. Who's "the old man"? Before I thought it was just Webby, but now I'm not so sure. Webby was strong enough to man-handle a table, but the old man is laying on the floor bleeding from the shoulder. And is bolting for the back door and acceptable action even though I'm still under the effects of fear? You said I couldn't make any actions except to defend myself, but does running count?

*** a post a few pages back, another customer came into the diner:
You may now act normally, since the gunfire appears to have taken care of the immediate threat.

*** also, the gun is already on the counter, Webby set it down after he fired the shots. The sure way he handled it indicates to everyone that he probably has past experience with it. Perhaps a vet of Nam.

*****Ah, sorry. I guess I missed that post or perhaps just forgot about it. IDK.
Carter gathered himself as well as he could. Hearing the call for help from Webby, he cautiously stood and moved to help him. This one man seemed to be the only person here with a calm enough head to lead the group out of here safely. Carter told himself that hoping that it would reassure him to help Webby. Instead the thought was somehow disconcerting. Why was Webby not scared of these things? Why was he able to act so quickly? Something seemed a little too strong about this man. But now there is no time to think, only to act.

"Alright everyone out the door NOW! We've got to get away from these things quick," Ira says ushering everyone out the door. Ira walks over to the counter and picks up the gun before exiting himself.

((Hopefully not me))
With escape possible to the back of the bar, Peck hauls his ass over to the old man, using a tee-shirt to bind the wounds to the best of his ability, and then help him to his feet. Let's get going, the sooner we get to a car and get out of here, the better.

***Sounds fine. Stupid failed roll. hehe. I'd go ahead and post accordingly, but I figured our GM would like to make his post first.

Webby continues with the table, attempting to use it to block up the broken front door.
The old man was shot, and is bleeding a bit. As Peck tries to help him up, it is obvious he will have difficulty walking anywhere on his own. Despite this, the man still clutches at his satchel--it is tucked under his arm.
***Peck can send a first aid or medicine roll, if he likes. Though he is uncertain how much it will actually help.
Carter, the first one out the door, is as assaulted by a blast of snow and icy winter air. Fortunately the cold woke him from his fear induced stupor, and he is able to completely take in the grisly scene before him. Where one would expect white virgin snow--across the ground of the alleyway--there is instead a pool of blood and a surrounding splatter of gore. Three of those that were once human, but now are monsters, look up from the body they surround. The owner of the gore doesn't seem to mind as they leave him and lunge towards Carter, who is standing in the doorway.

***The Old Man has been shot in his upper right shoulder, through the back, with the exit wound in the front. You are unable to completely control the bleeding with a rag. With a first aid kit you may be able to assist him better.
***He is awake, for now, but will bleed to death.
***Moving him would be murder.
***He is able to speak, and will do so, once Carter and Ira respond with their next action.

***Oh, and for now, Peck is attempting to control the bleeding. His attempt at first aid will take his whole "turn."
***Webby is still messing with the table and the front door.
***Carter and Ira are standing by the *open* back door, with more zombies reaching them very quickly.
