So what actually happened to "reveal" the Thing as the SS? And can Wanda still use some kind of pseudo-magnetic field to pick up the space ship and drop it on him with her prior roll plus the karma I wanted to use?

The Thing got pulled toward the machine but instead of moving, he stretched like silly putty and then the Super Skrull was revealed. For the Scarlet Witch's Hex power, anything she causes to happen must be related to altering the probability of something that is possible, however unlikely. For instance, she cannot create a table out of thin air. (Or a psuedo magnetic field that can lift a space ship.) However, she could make a chair suddenly collapse for no apparent reason (or cause a space ship to glitch and somehow create a disturbing magnetic field). When the Scarlet Witch uses her power, the player describes precisely what effect is wanted, and the Judge decides whether that effect is within the Scarlet Witch's power. Her power is so unusual that it frequently catches victims and onlookers by surprise. Wanda is much more comfortable when using her power to affect materials that occur in nature, such as fire, water, earth, air, wood, organic items, and some metals. If the Scarlet Witch is trying to alter probabilities around unnatural materials or energies, such as plastic, complex alloys, or force fields, her Psyche shifts two columns to the left when making the FEAT roll. I did overlook that you meant to use Karma. Sorry about that. so I'll add this... Wanda notices that on top of the ship is a dish antenna which is pointing at the Super Skrull and some kind of strange cosmic energy that is now monetarily visible is pulling his torso toward the ship. |

Not that I'm trying to welch out of taking any damage, but wasn't Vision also at an elevated density when Sue shot him?

Sorry, Vision did go from Phasing to Density Remarkable, which is his normal Density. this would give him Poor 4 protection from the energy, so I'll return 8 Health from the two blasts. |

What about the Space Ship? I mean, I know Wanda's not a tech expert, but what exactly happened when she tried to make it explode, if she can tell? I know it's smoking a little bit, but I'm not sure what that means?

I know it's smoking a little bit, but I'm not sure what that means? Based on the smoke, Wanda can figure something exploded in the ship, just not the whole ship. Her Hex power is chaotic and doesn't always do exactly what she expects. The Scarlet Witch has an affinity with natural elements and phenomena, stemming largely from her magical training under Agatha Harkness, and has trained often at using her hexes to deflect projectiles or to cause enemies to stumble or otherwise suffer the effects of "bad luck". Ultimately, the hexes are not under the Witch's direct control, although she can influence the nature of their effects with great concentration and effort. As GM, I take your suggested effect in mind and knowing what I know about the scenario have the universe translate the effect into the best approximation of kind of what you want. For example, the Vision has more metal in him than the Super Skrull, so actually creating a magnetic field would not have the desired effect. However, you wanted "The Thing" to be pulled toward the ship and have this be a bad luck disadvantage for them. It is. (Perhaps more than you realize at the moment.) If it is in character for what you think she would do, you can spend a round and give me an Intuition FEAT roll for your turn for the Scarlet Witch to try to piece together what happened through observation.) |

The only skrulls still conscious are the Super Skrull who is invisible and the Invisible Girl, who's been busy firing rays at people and being grappled. However, since Wanda did spend a round just observing, I'll say you see the Invisible Girl also look at the smoke coming from the ship as an additional concern on her list, along with a bunch of super-beings attacking them.

I'll be damned if I don't pop open that blasted shapeshifter's suitcase with my next action for sure then!
Not sure if the SS got his FF powers through the same cosmic radiation that powered the original team or not, but it looks like Wanda has shut down Radioactive Man's energies in an early issue. Whatever that means. And thanks for that, btw. It really doesn't help that most of my exposure to Wanda has come from the movies or the Bendis era.
