Also, I'd probably have to suggest that the Collateral Damage disadvantage be applied somewhere.
Though, shouldn't this be in the Bad Guys section?

Funny, didn't Marvel used to own the rights to produce Godzilla comics...? Oh yes, I see Lordzack already mentioned it. Marvel missed a trick there, then. Why did Marvel give up their rights to Godzilla anyway? I remember thinking that he was a really cool character back when I was a kid like in the 90's.

my main question about this is: Why are his stats so low? It Godzilla, I doubt his STR would only be 10, and his DUR would probably be much higher.

Good write up. My favorite monster movie character ever. I might drop the toughness a little. Close combat of 7 seems high. Maybe a 4. Besides his claws make up for the lack of stones in CC.
I think I have the Mecha-Godzilla movie some where at my parent's house. Ahh memories.

Don't know if this has been pointed out in any other posts, but I know some facts about Godzilla that might be interesting to know.
1. Godzilla has a Healing Factor, it was the main focus of Godzilla 2000. With all honesty, it is approximatly equal to that of the Hulk (Current Hulk, Guide to the Hulk and the Avengers), which is Enhanced.
2. Godzilla was never Nuked. In the original 1954 movie he was killed when a scientist found a way to remove all the O2 from his body. This broke all the water in his body down to it's base parts. And seeing as how every living creature is more water than anything, he dies. Godzilla would have the following as statistics
Int - 4 (incapable of speech) Str - 18 Agi - 1 Spd - 4 Dur - 8
He - 8 Regen - 1/round En - 24 Regen - 12/round
Close Combat - 5 Strength and Durability Bonus or Weapon Modifier - Hand to Hand - Giant Monster Combat - Improvised Weapons - Other Giant Monsters as Melee Weapons
Ranged Combat - 4 Strength Bonus or Weapon Modifier - Large Objects - Improvised Weapons - Other Giant Monsters as Projectiles
Mastery of Radioactivity - 9 - Create Radioactivity - Absorb attacks of same element - Immune to Element - Force Blast, 3x damage, - Accumulate Energy - Bought Flight at a Discount (Yes, Godzilla has used his breath blast to fly.... ) - Overstrain (Causes Death) - Transfer Ability to use mastery to offspring at time of death
Flight - 5 - May only use in conjunction with Mastery
Modifiers
Toughness +9 Enhanced Healing Factor Energy Defense +3 Mental Defense +3 Magical Defense +6 Amphibious +3 Claws, Armor Penetration

- Bought Flight at a Discount (Yes, Godzilla has used his breath blast to fly.... ) Flight - 5 - May only use in conjunction with Mastery GODZILLA VS THE SMOG MONSTER!!! LOL yeah that's technically good for godzilla... but it kindof makes him invincible with those stats... the first stats are better to me, because they make for more of a boss fight than a "omg...we're dead" moment

He can still be beaten, seriously, but he'd have to be taken down by the Hulk, Silver Surfer or Thor, cause that's the power level Godzilla is on anyway

hmmmmmmmm...... Cant help but imagen a Godzila Game... Battle of Monsters... Every player would play his very own monster But i agree that his breath should have area effect, or atleast colleteral damage... And some other points. * Like the others, ive never seen him manipulate radioactivity * Prehensile tail? I dont think he can grab stuff with it. Or i havent seen him grab stuff with it. * Why did you give him a tail +3 when he neither has acrobatics nor a Tendril/tail/tentacle action? * Claws AND fangs under same modifier??... So if he only uses his fangs, he wouldent get the modifier since its Claws/fangs?? And the same goes for only using claws... Or do you mean both his fangs and claws are +4??

Tail is a weapon modifier. Fangs and Claws are one modifier, meaning you use both Claws and Fangs as one attack, there's a precedent, so I went with it. I got most of my info from Wikipedia and the Appendix to the Handbook of the Marvel Universe, so If there's a mistake, it may be due to false information.

Another thing to note, IMO, the hulk from the mangaverse would annihilate him hands down.

In several new gen Godzilla movies, i've seen him emit a type of nuclear pulse which acted as a repulsion field. As for his strength I'd say it'd be closer to 15 to 16 range because he could knock down, but not lift a large building (Superman has 18). He could however lift a ship (He's done that in the Dark Horse Comics) and lift bridges (The first Godzilla movie). Also add his tail as a weapon and make it prehensile (as seen in Godzilla vs. Megaguirus)

Being a large Godzilla fan from waaaaaaaaaay back, there's a few thing that all of you should know about big G. 1: He can absorbe radiation. It's like food to him. 2: His breath would cause large area damage as well as pinpoint damage. It is also radioactive, so even if he destroyed a building there would be residual fallout. The tail and claws and teeth could also be used in close combat as well as any rock or bridge (anything like that) As far as his healing factor, he's been reduced to bones, dropped into a volcanoe, poisoned, and cut/stabbed various times. He can go nuclear and overcharge himself into a meltdown. When this happens all his energies go to nature, and are returned to his offspring. You can start with the first and go all the way to the end with Toho pics. I wouldn't suggest flight even thought it did happen in Godzilla v.s. Hedorrah. That was one of the 1970's save the environment movies. More so the kids wouldn't pitch trash on the ground. Any body remember the crying native American commercial?
