Kitty sat down in a chair and looks over the computer codes. 'Humm what exactly did Fixer do to this" she says to no one in particular as she concentrates on the computer. 'May be a little bit on that food Lookheed" She says apologetically and she keep working.

"You are a very intuitive young lady," Mentallo says to Rogue smiling. "Or you stole that knowledge from my mind." The smile is now gone.

"The breeder bombs are not real bombs, but open-air reactors designed to spew radiation into the upper atmosphere. In 10 to 15 years, the increase in radiation will increase the number of mutants on Earth."

Logan nods quietly, before turning from Mentallo.

-Like I suspected. Come on, we're going to see the professor. Let's get Fixer, too. As far as I'm concerned, you both are free, but I need the professor's approval to allow you two to go.

Once again, Magneto was planning one of his dirty tricks of "if you can't beat them, have them join you". By turning lots of humans into mutants, his cause could be strengthened... or something could go wrong and it could kill thousand of humans, or more... it was radiation after all. Luckily, it also meant that they could shut down all facilities without being in so much of a hurry. It was crucial that they did so, however.

Wolverine followed Mentallo, showing him where the Fixer was located. The guy was probably still sore after having been beaten down by him for the second time, so they'd probably need to help him to get to Xavier. As they got to the room where Fixer was staying, Logan opened the door:

-Hey Fixer, come here. You've enjoyed our hospitality enough like that. Thanks to your comrade here, you're probably free to go. We'll go talk to the professor about the informations we got, and that's that.

As he steps a bit back to allow Ebersol to walk out the room, he adds sarcastically:

-Don't worry, you've returned to the "guest" status for now, so I won't cut you down again... unless you make it necessary.

1 stone into Speed to go to the room we've selected for Fixer (by the way, I let Mentallo and Fixer walk in front of me. If Mentallo can read my mind, he can see that my intention to let them go is sincere, but I don't trust Fixer for all he's done, so I don't take any chance.);

Rogue just gave mentallo her best southern smile and made a sweeping motion with one arm. "After you Sugah."

Rogue took up rear guard position on the way to release The Fixer. She doubted the two would try anything at this point with their release all but assured. However, so far these two goons seemed real anxious to get away from the X-Men every chance they got.

Professor Xavier ends his private meeting with Storm and summons Ariel, Colossus and Nightcrawler, when Wolverine and Rogue approach with the Fixer and Mentallo.

Kitty's efforts were good enough to get the danger room back on-line, where a holographic projection of Nightcrawler appeared in the cage near Kurt, Piotr and the now somewhat functional Fluffy. However, that phenomenon will have to be explained to the blue German-born mutant later.

Once all the X-Men and their two guests are gathered, the Professor signals for Wolverine to begin.

Logan nodded, and started:

-We've learned, thanks to Mentallo, that the map we've found in the robots we destroyed indicate the four locations where Magneto plans to activate devices called "Breeder Bombs".

Folding his arms, he continues:

-These little toys, despite the name, are apparently not really bombs, but open-air reactors designed to fill our beautiful planet's atmosphere with a healthy dose of radiation. In several years, this could result in an increase of the number of mutants on Earth... if all goes well, of course. After all, it's radiation... who can say if it's gonna do what's it's meant to do.

He pauses for a second, then he looks at the professor.

-My best guess would normally be that Magneto would want to do that because he'd be thinking that an increase of the number of mutants would add many supporters to his cause..... but if that was the case, why the heck would he put that kind of important information in jeopardy by leaving a pair of robots to guard a kidnapped Mentallo after sending a mistaken Fixer our way, thus almost ensuring that we would eventually fight the robots and bring them back for study? That's definetly not a mistake. Especially not coming from Magneto. The whole thing is almost screaming "trap" to me... and yet, we cannot let him do that...

He unfolds his arms and sits more comfortably on his armchair, before concluding:

-An' I must add that Mentallo gladly agreed to give us these informations, so he's got an "A" for cooperation, on the contrary of his buddy. As far as I'm concerned, they're free to go.

He believed what Mentallo had told him, and he knew the professor probably had the means to verify if it was true... Now he wanted to hear what the others thought about it all.

"I don't know professor," Colossus begins,"Even if this is a trap, we can't let these "bombs" go off. We must investigate their existence. Colossus seems more concerned than ever. So many innocents will be effected.

"Ja..." Kurt nodded in agreement, "Even if it is a trap, we must be careful on the off-chance it is not."

"Well shoot. Whats a lil' ol' south'un girl like me gonna say when the Kraute and Ruskie are in agreeance. I say a counter trap is in orda'." Rogue smiles.

Kitty takes her seat sitting away from both Mentallo and Fixer. "Sorry for taking so long I had to feed Lockheed." Kitty rubs Lockheed head as she listens to Wolverine report. "Radiation?" Kitty shivers then stops blushing "Well If it is a trap it very elaborate."

After a moment's thought, Xavier develops a plan.

"Nightcrawler, I need your help to install on the Blackbird a special detector. The X-Men should leave for the Denning Military Reservation at dawn. I will stay at the mansion and try to figure out where the other devices are hidden."

"What about us?" Fixer asks from his seat by Mentallo.

Xavier turns in his chair to face the criminal gadgeteer and his partner Mentallo, master of telepathy and image generation.

"This detector must be able to locate Magneto's device within a 10-mile radius. Mentallo will pull a 3D schematic of it's design from your mind by the end of the hour. Then you both will have overstayed your welcome here."
