I need help to see who will win the fights my Players won't be participating in. I figure I would get a jump start on these so when it comes time to describe how these matches went down I have something to go by. Since this is a competition, I need the most honest answers to my "who will win a fight" questions. This is a brawling type game style and here is how it works. I need one Marvel Universe Roleplaying Board member to choose who he wants to control of the two fighters presented. I will control the other and we fight until one of us wins.
Easy?
Our first fight is Puma vs Armadillo.

Raw statswise, Armadillo will probably win, unless Puma gets smart. But I cant really be much help- I dont know any of those characters aside from what Im seeing right here.

Probably Armadillo, just because while they're fairly even in close combat, Armadillos massive toughness looks like it could be a major pain in the neck for Puma. Still, I'd be willing to do Puma. I like Puma, and pumas.

Alright Hero, since you have the Initiative I will post my Actions first to reflect that benefit. The big guy simply charges Puma with a Claw attack.
Health 5 Energy 15
Action 1: I put 1 Stone into Armadillo's Speed to charge at Speed 2. Combined with... Action 2: I put 4 Stones into Armadillo's Close Combat+ 2 Stones from Strength+ 3 from Claws Modifier to Claw Puma across the chest.
Attack: 10 Stones Defense: 6( Toughness, no 2x Damage from Firearms or Projectiles)
Health 5 Energy 8 Regeneration 7

Alright, your attack would be devastating, so Puma's going to us his speed to dodge your less than subtle charge. Note, I'm assuming I'm already transformed
H: 4 E: 12
Action 1: 4 stones into speed, shifted into defense to stay out of range of Armadillos claws
H: 4/4 E: 8/12
D: 5 (4 from speed, 1 from toughness) Regeneration: 4

So it seems Puma tries to get out of the way of the attack, but the massive Armadillo is faster than his bulk would reflect. Puma would move first and upon seeing the Armadillo about to charge decides to burst away like a cheetah. Instead he takes a hit on his side as he exposes himself in his run.
Armadillo's attack is still pretty good with 5 Stones of damage. There are 2 outcomes from this attack possible. 1. Take the Damage and be reduced 2 Stones of Health, which will have Puma at 2 Health only allowing him to Regenerate 3 Stones next Panel. 2. You can take the knock out and be out for 10 Panels, therefore the Armadillo wins the match.
With his run Puma can get up to 10 Blocks distance from himself and Armadillo. This being a Circuit match and not a qualifying match, there are no bounds to how far you go, but 10 Blocks the direction you are running is the Reservation and that may not be where Puma would want to take the fight.
Armadillo, still slower than Puma, tries to grab Puma and put him in a hold.
Health 5 Energy 15
Action 1: I put 1 Stones into Armadillo's Speed to chase at Speed 2. Combined with... Action 2: I put 4 Stones into Armadillo's Close Combat+ 2 Stones from Strength to grab Puma.
Attack: 7 Stones to Grapple Defense: 6( Toughness, no 2x Damage from Firearms or Projectiles)
Health 5 Energy 8 Regeneration 7

Yeah, he's faster than I thought. Rats, ok, then, better just do something....
H: 2/4 E: 10/12
Action 1: 6 stones into close combat, shifted to defense, to turn Armadillos grapple against him and pin him
H: 2/4 E: 4/12 D: 8 (6+1 from tougness, +1 from claws)

You do realize Puma is faster than Armadillo, I am posting his Actions so you can take advantage of his slowness. As of this Panel, Puma turns and faces Armadillo and as the big guy runs up to him, Puma tries to grab his midsection and using his lower leverage, tries to take the large guy and slam him back to the ground. Unfortunately, Armadillo is too wide to get a good grip and the big guy grabs Puma from behind, getting out of Puma's hold and establishing his own.
Aramadillo has Puma in a hold. For this next Panel he's going to lift Puma's legs up and deliver a skull shattering piledriver.
Health 5 Energy 15
Action 1: I put 4 Stones into Armadillo's Close Combat+ 7 from Strength to deliver a powerful piledriver.
Attack: 11 Stones Defense: 6( Toughness, no 2x Damage from Firearms or Projectiles)
Health 5 Energy 4 Regeneration 7

Ehhh, taking advantage of slowness, that's a new one. I've heard of using superior speed, but slowness? That caught me off guard. Dang it, not much to do now. Still....
Action 1: Six stones into agility, shifted into defense, waiting until Armadillo raises my legs up to bend and counter his attack.
H: 2/4 E: 0/12 D: 6 stones plus 1 from toughness

I wish I was in his game. Read the threads, and it looks like a blast. Ah well, other than getting crushed by an overgrown armadillo, this is fun to.

... LOL! Still shamelessly promoting your game huh Toast? LOL! ;D I am using the members on the board to help me determine how the matches that are non Character related turn out. I wish I was in his game. Read the threads, and it looks like a blast. Ah well, other than getting crushed by an overgrown armadillo, this is fun to. Technically you are part of the game. This match and the next ones coming up will be described in the future of the Circuit. And now back to this fight. The outcome of the last Actions leave Puma in a bad way. He takes a 4 Stone hit which leaves him with 0 Health, which really isn't good. He can take the Knock out for 8 Panels, but either way he's going to be out. So I think we can call it. At 0 Health Puma is down for a Panel and even though that won't be a count out, Armadillo would just take him out next panel and probably kill him, which we really don't need. Should we say Puma is Knocked out, Hero?
