Storm kept her eyes on the battle playing out infront of her and carefully landed ontop of the blackbird, trying to keep her focus on the soldiers caught up in her whirlwind. She turned her attention to Wolverine when she saw him be grappled by multiple soldiers, and quickly shouted a caution... Not th at he needed it, he was likely capable of taking them on. But the sooner he was freed, the sooner he could help in the rest of the combat.

Nightcrawler realized he needed to give this next attack a little more oomph. Which he did, weaving in close with a swift uppercut. Hopefully he'd feel that one...

These tincans were tougher then Rogue originally thought. She gave the closest trooper a nice uppercut to finish the job while keeping an eye out for another blast.

Now deep within his berzerker rage and seeing red, Wolverine did not appreciate having his claws stilled. Gathering up his strength, he attempted to fight off his attackers.

Kitty gives the solider one of those why do i even bother trying looks as she try to phase herself thru his gun before he can shoot as she she see Lockheed. "Lockheed stay in the blackbird" not wanting her flying friend to get hurt

"<Is this some mutant capitalist defector trick?>" The Crimson Dynamo blares as he slams into Colossus, knocking the organic steel hero down! But then he takes pause.
"<You do not defend yourself, and call me comrade... Am I to take your Magneto story for truth?>"
Storm maintains her cyclone while shouting a warning to Wolverine. Her dual focus gives one super-trooper a chance to escape her winds, but her warning does have the intended affect.
The soviet, who's armor Wolverine previously slashed, gears up to hit the restrained Logan with a super powered fist. However, Wolverine pulls free just in time and ducks, causing the troopers punch to connect with his own comrade's faceplate!
Nightcrawler takes advantage of a weak spot in his opponent's armor, but he suffers a glancing blow as well!
Rogue must be getting tired, because her uppercut fails to penetrate the super-trooper's helmet. Fortunately her own skin also provides the necessary protection she needs.
Seeing Ariel will not surrender, the soviet trooper decides to shoot to kill, but not at Kitty. He chooses instead to fire upon the little purple dragon that the girl calls out to. But before he can fire, the X-man phases through his armor's phaser scrambling the circuits necessary to effect an energy blast.

In hopes of getting his target to surrender or run, he attempted to slice the man's armor off his body rather than ripping his guts from his body cavity.

Rogue was aching all over. She needed to catch her breath as well. And when did half the team have time to learn Russian, she thought. She'd never heard Colossus talk so much since she joined the team. Whatever it was she hoped it was working, 'cause she'd have to go on the defensive for awhile.

Action 2: Catch breath.

Seeing one of the troopers slip out of the spinning vortex, Storm returns her attention to the others, doing her best to keep them tied up till the others could get to them... Her hands held high as she kept the winds howling and spiralling around them.

Wolverine destroys the armor of one Soviet Super-Trooper, but a second and third fire at him. One of them gets lucky.
The Crimson Dynamo lifts Colossus off the ground to stare into Piotr's eyes. "<Call off your mutant army and I will give you one chance to prove yourself in the eyes of Mother Russia. But only one.>"
When two armored troopers raise arms against Nightcrawler, Dimitri Bukharin, the fifth man to wear the armor of the Crimson Dynamo orders them to hold their fire. "<You have three seconds, tovarich before we stain this valley with red and blue.>"
At this range there is no chance that Nightcrawler could get away before the soviets fire at him, not without his teleportation.
Atop the Blackbird, Ariel attacks a soldier. Not expecting solid contact from the girl, the trooper is surprised, trips and falls off the roof of the plane.
Rogue, hearing Colossus conversing with the red leader, takes the defensive, which keeps her out of danger for the moment, but she has to be careful not to fly too close to the storm.
Storm's winds make it difficult to approach her, but one super-trooper blasts the Blackbird's tail-fin. Damaging the aircraft even more and now removing the cover that protected the weather goddess.

X-Men! Stand Down! Storm, see if you can get Wolverine back. Maybe with wind! We have a chance to deal with the problem at hand, but I need you to stop fighting. Colossus is not accustomed to shouting orders but he must for this to work.
