As she picked up the phone she said: "Natasha Romanov speaking, and you'd better have a good reason for intruding on my free time.

Even though he's currently flirting with a pretty blond staffer named Shirley, perhaps Hank should show Simon how it's done. Hawkeye on the other hand, didn't hear what Wondy said, but did see his ex-lover make an entrance. Perhaps it's a good thing that Mockingbird isn't there to see the look on her husband's face. I stand there in shock, not really expecting to run into my ex like this. For one of the rare times in my life I am almost speechless.
"If looks could kill, long time no see, how have you been?" I say as I walk over to Natasha.
"Oh, and don't forget to speak up, I have a hard time hearing these days, long story."
I secretly think that I am glad I am wearing a mask, there is no way I would live it down if she saw me blushing.

Natasha had barely walked into the room and was already bombarded with greetings, she was answering wonder man's when Hawkeye interrupted her "Well, hun, these looks CAN kill, but it has been a long time" she says, taken by surprise as well.
"But I'm doing as good as the job allows, safety is not exactly in the job description, and I was enjoying a rare day off when Vision called." She answered plainly.

Proving 'Tasha is not the only sexy spy in Clint's life, Mockingbird hands Hawkeye a copy of the questions Letterman will be asking. He can't wear a hearing aid, because the fewer people who know Barton's half-deaf, the safer it'll be for all of them. "Then why not let someone else be spokesman?" Mockingbird whispers. "This is supposed to be Wonder Man's big night!" Sure... but Hawkeye is the only active Avenger there. So Bobbi relents and gives her husband a kiss for good luck. Hawkeye, didn't quite hear what Letterman asked, but his notes tell him that the first question is 'What is The Avengers?'
