Wonder Man
Simon Williams had to admit, this machine was beyond even his power to stop. Where brawn failed, however, maybe brain would succeed... and still, he wasn't useless. He used his strength as best as he could to keep the machine away from the innocents, pulling and pushing as necessary, hoping to buy some time for T'Challa to stop it.
-Thanks for the help, Black Panther... but whatever you're trying to do, please hurry... I don't think I can hold this thing much longer!
He did was kind of tired. Of course he wasn't exhausted, but he couldn't hold the thing immobile, and couldn't rest either without risking the lives of people in the room. Maybe the black-clad hero could accomplish what he could not. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Start H: 5/5 E: 5/15
5 stones into Strength, to pull or push the steamroller to keep it from harming people, buying some time for T'Challa to stop it.
End E: 0/15 Defense: 6 (5 Toughness, 1 Ref.Dodge)

"The Avengers have battled Zodiac," Fabian Stankowitcz tells David Letterman, "The Masters of Evil... Doctor Doom! I want to make as big a name for myself as those guys!""Seems to me that Stankowicz is already a pretty big name!" kids the hostage talk show host. "Could you tell us a little more about these gizmos of yours?""Be glad to, Dave! Wonder Man is trying to stop a roller made of solid omnium steel that's being propelled by a gravimetric generator!"Wonder Man protects the audience, but the harder he fights, the greater the artificial gravity is generated in that one spot. "Hawkeye! Shoot at an arrow at this thing! You can damage it the most if you shoot it right there!" says Beast, pointing at the weak spot he's found.

When the Black Widow shoots, David Letterman ducks! "Relax, Dave!" Stankowicz says, touching a power pack on his belt. "Nothing can hurt us here! I've taken the precaution of slapping a force-field around us!"The Widow's Bite then safely bounces off the field surrounding both Dave and Fabian. "Wow!" Letterman exclaims. "Uh-huh! Well, in that case, Mr. Stankowicz--"[OOC: More? I'm afraid we'll have to pull the big knob on this adventure. I'm really sorry it had to end this way. I've never had to do this to a game before. But I'm afraid we just lost too many players. I hate that! It's just so darn sad isn't it? I guess that'll teach me not to mess with David Letterman!]LOE1 for Beast 1 for Black Widow
