Loki, WandaVision and Hawkeye will come in 2021. We'll strangely have a grown up Monica Rambeau in WandaVision. Someone will play Kate Bishop on Hawkeye and judging from the logo we know what run they'll be borrowing from, so count me excited.

Y'know, I ALMOST forgot Zemo existed in the MCU. Hopefully they can flesh him out in the Sam/Bucky series.
Well, for the Monica being older thing...the Cap Marvel movies DID take place in the 90s...so the girl's gotta be in her late 20s or early 30s by now, I suppose.

As hoped, the Super Bowl gave us a teaser trailer for the first three upcoming Disney+/Marvel TV series: Let me just start by saying that, while it all looks really good, I'm especially fucking pumped for WandaVision. It looks like they're really willing to go out and do something weird, and I love it. I feel like Elizabeth Olsen has an underutilized emotional range and talent for whimsy and humor (we got a taste for it in that cute little Civil War bit), and it'll be neat to see her push the boundaries of her character in her own series. Even from the few brief flashes we get, it does seem to confirm that the common factor in Wanda's reality-warping antics will be television shows. I suspect the scene with the wingsuits is probably a flashback to Falcon's training in the elite paratrooper rescue program that got him his literal wings, which suggests we're getting a bit of an origin story. That looks like USAgent showing up at the halftime show. And Loki is Loki. Not a lot to go on there, but he looks like he's some kind of prisoner? Recall that this series is about the Loki that escaped with the Tesseract midway through Endgame, so he is still very much at odds with Thor and is a very angry and pained character who hasn't even touched his redemption arc yet. Production costs look very high, as expected after seeing the kind of money Disney was willing to throw at The Mandalorian. I imagine these are loss leaders designed to hook people on Disney+, but they should also recoup some just by keeping the hype for the MCU alive while they get Phase 4 back in gear and roll into Phase 5.

I was thinking about it more or less in the same lines. Each project with have plot/character/pacing issues to address, to name a few, but at least it seems that both wanting to do something interesting and budget won't be troubles to consider. I'm hopeful, how much I loved The Mandalorian got me there even if it's a different piece of the pie, I'm eager to see how they fare from August forward.

At first reading that WandaVision would play pastiche to sitcoms and other tv classics had me worried (one of the trailer scenes clearly looks like a pastiche of I Love Lucy).
But if the speculation that this is part of or a prelude to Avengers Disassembled is right, I’m on board. Especially if they can somehow reboot the now Disney owned X-Verse with a House of M storyline, easily my favorite Marvel event.

From what I've heard, they aren't bringing back the X-Men until at least the end of Phase 5, so like 2023 at the earliest. However, they have reached out to the X-Men alumni about their roles.
WandaVision is supposed to set up the villain to the Dr Strenge movie, and I wonder if she IS the villain, at least in part.

Yeah, we have some I Love Lucy in the black and white scene, perhaps Bewitched with the costumed bit, the warm kitchen has a Brady Bunch feel, the suspenders and plaid moment seems Rosanne-like and it seems that the cribs moment is (amusingly enough) a Full House nod. And both having her as the Strange villain (even if that would be pushing Mordo away) and something along the lines of a retooled House of M thing could be cool.

I wonder how they are going to emulate something close to that storyline with how her powers have been depicted in the movies, but it's not like they can handwave that, specially after war/endgame. Looking good indeed.

It looks like a large bulk of the series will be taking place internally, watching her mind unravel from the inside, so I don't know how much of it is going to be rewriting reality as a prelude to House of M and Decimation, but the Mind Stone's powers were never really well defined in the MCU anyways, and with the advent of the X Men into the MCU they could say she was a mutant all along whose powers were enhanced by the Stone.

It's a shame she's wasn't a creation of the Reality stone instead. Not only is it thematically more appropriate, but it's even red to match her name and powers.

Yeah, I guess that's a side effect of adding things on the go.
Edit: Has someone bothered checking out Helstrom? Because I know I haven't, looks bland.

Loki and WandaVision looking amazing. The rest I could pass on.
Edit: I know a lot of people here are fans of Secret Invasion (it never appealed to me), so has anyone seen the press release that has any thoughts?

Some trailers and reels, links only to save space:
The rest of the announcements sound far in the future for the most part. They are filming the Hawkeye series though, and since it looks heavily inspired on my fave run I hope it's nice. The Secret Invasion thing with Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelhson... dunno if it's going to be comedy oriented or not, but I don't think they'll go the same route as the comic book at all. We are getting an Ironheart series and an Armor Wars one too.
