I feel like F&TWS would have been better as a movie. It's not like Disney+ hasn't and can't do original films. Just not sure there's enough to carry a 6 hour series the way Loki and WandaVision can.

The WandaVision concept and the Loki weirdness sure have longer legs, but remember that the trailers of both series (and trailers of the MCU in general) tend to hide well a few turns and surprises. F&TWS could start as a simple but enjoyable buddy movie and even if it keeps the tone, shift and add more nuance along the way, we barely got to see Zemo after all.

I feel like it had a lot of unrealized potential. I wonder how much this cost to produce, because I feel like it could have benefited from being much longer, but I could get it if there were budget limitations. Here's hoping for a secret tenth episode?

I really liked it for what it is, some people maybe reached too far with theories and wishes which tends to be a recipe for disappointment.

I thought WandaVision was good, though they needed to hold Wanda more accountable in the ending. Still, great show. Excited for more of Wanda.

I'm really liking the Falcon & Winter Soldier series so far. It's leaning into some interesting themes I didn't expect to be reflected (although it don't know if they'll nail the landing) and it never feels cheap.

I like it, but I'm anxious that it's only 6 episodes. It doesn't feel like we're 1/3rd the way through this thing - I want more!

Well, Falcon & Winter Solider ended and it was pretty nice, I sure would love that some other series maybe turn up to be a bit more ambitious, but this one wasn't the place to do so and they knew it. Solid, fun and short.

Loki was great so far. Can't wait for more. Not sure how I feel about some of the things they adapted for the storyline, and it seems like they really should have done this before WandaVision, just based on the few easter eggs I spotted. But Hiddleston and Wilson are outstanding and the overall tone is fun.

Can't agree more. My only real qualm was that something teased in the trailers seems to have turned out to be more of a reference than a whole plotline that I looked forward to, but that's fine.
Hiddleston is in rare form, and pairing him with Owen Wilson's more subtle, but equally nuanced performance is perfect. I love it. The sound design, soundtrack, props, costumes, and especially the set design are absolutely inspired. I LOVE that stuff. Reminds me big time of some of my favourite movies, like Dark City, Brazil - plus a lot of that Wes Anderson vibe, too.
I'm also satisfied that there seems to be enough substance to the storyline. I think that was the complaint early on with WandaVision: It was neat, but there weren't quite enough plot hooks in the first episode or two to get people completely invested in the mystery and bigger picture (I think we mostly caught on here, but less avid fans of the MCU might not have picked up on the more subtle clues).
If the whole series was out, I'd probably binge it in a day.

I found it a bit heavy on exposition, honestly. It was still fine, all those positive points mentioned are still there and it was carried with grace through fifty minutes, but it was still a (much needed I guess, given the Loki we are working with) workaround explaining to the audience what's going on through him and fast forwarding some character development. It's still fine, more than fine even. Amusing, well paced and perfectly acted, but I couldn't help but see it a bit... empty, well no, transparent is better. Sometimes I was watching what they were intending with the episode more than the episode itself, and it lost a bit of the magic. Still eager to watch it though, as a lot of the heavy lifting has already been done.

The second episode felt way better, the chemistry shined through.

Very disappointed by the 3rd episode, which is a little worrying since it was penned by the head writer of the upcoming Ms. Marvel series. Eek.

Very disappointed by the 3rd episode, which is a little worrying since it was penned by the head writer of the upcoming Ms. Marvel series. Eek. It was... messy? I mean, I got the "lets now have a character developing/background revealing adventure" thing, but it was too haphazard. Visually compelling, a tad empty, also the shortest episode so far, so maybe that had to do with it. It was just fine for me, I'm alright and having fun without getting to crazy. I do hope that the series stops that slightly aimless feel soon.

Damn, it's getting quite good, but it's also kinda weird to think that there only are 2 episodes left.
